House of Pong in Claremont

First off let me say that I wish I would have asked the name of the woman who served me because she was on the ball! She checked on me attentively and sincerely, and was quick to refill my drinks without me asking. I appreciate the decor and ambiance of the place its cozy yet sophisticated on top of having a bar and patio makes for a really nice touch and good look especially for a date. Wink, wink! Theres some interesting food options to choose from being that its Asian Fusion, although, I went for something a bit more on the healthier side, a chicken bowl. The veggies werent soggy and had the right amount of crisp, but something about the chicken was a let down; I just cant put my finger on why - maybe overcooked, not juicy enough, or lacked seasoning, regardless I still enjoyed it and would probably order it again. I do look forward to trying other items or even stopping in to get a drink while reading a book off my phone or watch whatever they have playing on the tube. The bathroom is a bit cramped, but whaddya gonna do, its an older building and room is limited, however it was spectacularly clean so that made up for the lack of space. Next time I visit I hope Im served by the same woman; Ill be sure to get her name become she was absolutely wonderful!

Very favorably impressed on my first visit there! The food is great, the service is attentive and friendly, and the menu has a lot of variety. I felt very welcome there and look forward to going back many times.

We took a random chance on this restaurant and we were not disappointed! The food was amazing and the staff was very attentive and caring. We had a wonderful experience and we’re already determined to come back for more. Highly recommend them!

Great place in claremont for something a bit different. Has a good mix of different Asian styles and a bit of American fusion. Service is great and super friendly. They make a lot of their own sauces in house, so definitely check those out. Some are a bit spicy.

It is a nice Asian Fusion restaurant, located in downtown area of Claremont. I have been here once, at the end of October, 2021. It was before Halloween. The meal, that I have ordered, was quite delicious. At the same time, it was spicy. Furthermore, for a weekend, there was ample of space to sit down. The waiter, who served my table, was quite helpful, friendly, and polite. The prices were not on the expensive side. So, that is a good point. Of course, most of the meals are quite spicy. So, if anyone does not enjoy spicy meals, I would not recommend them to visit this place. However, if you enjoy spicy meals, I would recommend to stop by this restaurant, and grab some meals.

This place was awesome! Wonderful service, friendly servers and delicious food! Bacon wrapped pork belly was good but a little small. Pork belly fried rice so good! Had enough for lunch the next day. Crab stuffed jalapenos family loved. Beef bulgogi big portion with enough for lunch the next day. Would definitely go back again!

The food is always fresh and exceptionally good

Been coming here for about a year and half. This spot always delivers, and the experience you receive everytime is fantastic! The owner is an ex-teppanyaki chef so she knows her proteins very well. Any meat you request will be cooked just perfectly, at the requested done-ness. The sukiyaki broth ramen is different, but oh so amazing. Fried rice is also incredible, and the bulgogi tacos are to die for. 10/10 would absolutely recommend coming back here, over and over, as I have done for the last 18 months. So glad I found this spot and dont plan on stopping anytime!
