Love this spot! It’s going to become my go-to Thai spot. I’ve ordered take out and eaten in and both times, the food and the service were amazing. Servers are so incredibly kind and attentive and the food is just wow (and so affordable!!!). I’ve loved everything that I’ve ordered and can’t wait to keep trying new dishes.

Yummy Thai food, reasonable price.Small Egg Rolls (#9 How We Rolls) and Fried Fish Cakes were delicious. Tom Yum Shrimp Soup was flavorful. We really like their Calamari & Papaya Salads.Excellent Chicken Pad Thai, Red & Green Beef Curry, and Spicy Basil Pork.Love their Mango & Sweet Rice dessert.The food is FRESH and TASTY!Hard working/friendly staff and cozy dining environment.Shall return and will try new foods including Crab Meat Fried Rice and Thai Iced Tea.Definitely one of the BEST Thai restaurants in the Sacramento region!

Great food and amazing servers. Went there with a group of friends and we had great time chatting and really enjoyed the food. Our server was very friendly as well.I asked for duck curry and they recommended to get alligator meat. It was my first experience eating gator meat but definitely would try again.Both the meats duck and alligator were off menu and our servers way if recommending the same was quite amusing as well.

Awesome! AWESOME!! AWESOME!!! Ate here for the first time and the food was ALL very high quality. Even more, “T”, the owner, provided super personable service from the moment we stepped foot. He went out of his way to assure us that our satisfaction is paramount. I haven’t received this good of service since the 80’s. We had the crab fried rice (super good) and the Green & Red chicken Curries. Fabulous meal. This place is super family friendly and we’ve definately found our new favorite eatery.

The best Thai food in the area hands down! My favorite is the Pumpkin Curry with Chicken. The Tom Kha soup is divine and just what I need on a cold rainy day! This place is small so you will need to wait to be seated, luckily I work in the area so I get it to go. Love you guys! Keep up the great food and atmosphere.

UPDATE: been here several times since the first time and the quality of the food and customer service have only gotten better, if anything. Great family atmosphere, flavorful food, and attentive and caring staff. In particular, 4 level spicy definitely gave me my moneys worth. I feel like other places it hasnt always been the case. It was some of my friends first time at House of Thai and other friends first time trying certain dishes and they all loved it too. From the chicken green curry to the beef drunken noodles and fish curry, every dish was amazing. Anyways, to the owners and staff, keep up the amazing work and live long and good health to you 😊Original in 2019This is truly a gem of a place. I wish I got the names of the workers but they were all great. Will definitely be back for more. Had the beef drunken noodles medium hot and split an appetizer of fresh spring rolls with chicken and mushrooms, house made by one of the ladies working there. She stopped by, making sure everything tasted great. For dessert I tried the fried banana with coconut ice cream and had hot ginger tea to drink. Everything was delicious, fresh, and didnt leave me stuffed, but comfortably full. Reasonable prices and excellent customer service. I came in around lunch time and it was packed but not super loud so you can have a nice conversation with your meal (well, during your meal but not with your mouth full, you get the idea). Overall a great establishment that I hope to explore further with their curries and other drinks and desserts.

I have a favorite Thai spot in downtown BUT this place here, takes the cake! The food was delicious, I got mine Thai spicy- it absolutely was! The Thai coffee was delicious, satisfied my craving. And the brown right was shaped into a cute heart. The vibe inside is rather casual, you can order takeout as well! Good for friends or family, even a low key Friday ndate night. The staff is so hard working, special shout out to T, he has such a great attitude, exceptional service! He knows his returning customers and greets them like your grandmother might. This place is around the corner from my house. Ive tried their potstickers that were really good but today I tried their Pad Thai and I was not impressed. I was really looking for some rich in dept flavors. I normally get my Pad Thai from another place but its to far from me. The spice level was just to my liking but flavor wise it was very bland. I was expecting more because of the recommendation. I will go visit again but not for Pad Thai.

Yesterday was the first time we went to this place. I tried their Yellow Curry and other foods. The favor are good and they have good portion. Definitely recommend the yellow curry. However, in we did not get any potatoes that was written in the menu. Also the meat was really little, barely any meat in all our dishes. Will definitely try again, but maybe with different dishes.

The servers are all friendly and always remember you/your group. We only went once as a group & my boyfriend went alone afterwards and they asked him where everyone else was!I personally love their Thai Fried Rice (I am not a fan of Curry) but all my roommates and my boyfriend all love their Curry!Its a lovely small place with a very kind owner, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good Thai place in the area!

Super friendly staff and good service. It’s a Kids friendly restaurant. I saw bunch of family with kids. We had calamari fries, papaya salad ( thai style) and shrimp drunken noodles ($3 adds for shrimp) . Calamari fries are savory and tasty when it’s hot. Papaya salad has 2 options. Laos style which is fermented crab sauce based salad or Thai style which is based on fish sauce. Although I picked mild Thai style, it’s a little spicy for me. However, when you wrap with the served cabbage it tastes better. With Shrimp Drunken noodles, you can feel grilled smoky shrimp. So good. Portion was not that big. Considering the price it’s reasonable.

Took my niece here for dinner. I can see why it is rated high.As soon as you walk in..you are greeted with friendly faces. Chicken pad thai and Number 57 the pla rad pink. It is a whole fried fish with veggies in a curry sauce. It is so good but spicy...I would for sure order it again.The pad thai #47 9.50. They give you large plate of it...it was hot and the flavor amazing. Perfect amount of sauce...they give you a quartered lime wedge...and orange wedge...bean sprouts too...The fish dish #57 was 15.99. Whole fish fried..it was very crispy and seasoned well. It came with sauteed bell peppers and onions in a red curry sauce. It was bursting with flavor. I was kind of not sure at first. My niece wanted to try it. Guys… dont walk… RUNThis might be the best thai restaurant I’ve tried in the Sacramento area. I ordered the Pad See Ew, Boat Noodle, and Papaya salad (lao style). Let me tell you… it was amazing!!!! It was my first time having Boat Noodle and it tasted like Pho but with the sweeter notes of Hoisin sauce. The lao style papaya salad we ordered with a side of noodles is a MUST have. Perfect amount of fish sauce flavor. You can also really taste the sweet dark soy sauce flavor in the pad see ew, plus the tofu was so bouncy and fried it was amazing mixed in the noodles.Plus: they have plushies you can sit with if youre alone. 10/10 Experience 🥹 I honestly cant wait to go back!

I have been coming here since this place opened a little over a year ago, I have tried just about everything on the menu and I have never once been disappointed. This is a lively place with a little bit of a wait but once you try the food you will understand why. Also good beer selection which complements the Thai food, as well as outstanding coffee and Thai tea.We took a friend that flew over from Thailand here once, she said, this place is as authentic to Thai food as it gets. That says it all for me.This place is great for groups birthday parties or just a night out on the town.Be warned House of Thai close this every day between 3 to 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. for lunch & closed every Monday.

The customer service and level of respect you will get from this restaurant is 11/10. The food is fairly priced and absolutely delicious. The wait......Let me start by saying there was a long wait. Not that the wait should discourage you to try this place, just FYI.I entered the facility at 1:10 p.m. and placed an order for #30. Upon ordering i was told it would lo take approximately 15 minutes for my order to be prepared. I took a seat and began to wait. At 1:35 I asked about my order which had been sitting in the window for about 5 minutes. Needless to say I was not impressed with the service.The food was mediocre at best. It just didn’t have the plentiful flavor of the Thai food that I’m used to. The serving size was decent so I wasn’t too disappointed. Not a bad place, but definitely not the best Thai food around.

Their price increased 20% to 30% compared to the price on their website, making it a slightly more expensive Thai restaurant around the area. But I’m still happy with my experience here because the food is good and authentic enough. The Tum yum soup is not made from the instant soup paste that you can buy from stores which is what a lot of Thai restaurants do. They have their own flavors in every dishes they serve here, which to me is a nice feature. Definitely recommend the basil sauté and Tum yum soup. Nice and cozy environment and very friendly staff.

I walked in and was warmly greeted and informed I could sit anywhere Id like. As soon as I picked my seat I was informed Id get my drink quickly and was brought water right away. Within seconds, I was brought a menu and once I made my selection I asked where the restrooms were. They were very well maintained. I came back to my seat and the side of brown rice I ordered was brought out shaped in a heart. The number 18 has a delicious peanut sauce and the steamed chicken is moist and tender. I always have a positive dining experience at House of Thai. The front of house staff is friendly and KNOWLEDGEABLE about the food (a huge plus for me!). The owner talks to guests and makes sure everyone is satisfied with their meal service, and enjoys the ambiance. If you ask he will tell you about family recipes, how much he enjoys sharing his food with guests and even his military service.My favorite items are the green curry (spicy) and the summer rolls. Great service, usually good food. Found out it wasnt consistent when we came in one morning and our curry tasted bland, the owner offered to remake it which we declined so we werent charged for it. Will definitely be back!

Great food. Friendly staff. I enjoy the first come first serve seating option at this restaurant. My orders arrived in less than 10 minutes. Orders may take a little bit longer when the restaurant is packed.

This place is da bomb! I tried their Mango curry suggested by the waitress, the mangos added a sweet taste and the curry was smooth and good. My lady got the Boat Noodle soap and she liked it, which is very rare since shes Thai and picky with her Thai food. All their food is FRESH. All the employees are friendly, 5 stars, they deserve it!

Food portions were small for how pricey they were. Pad thai was a bit bland and the larb as well. Tofu was tough. I prefer Thai Hut over coming back here. Larger portions and better quality.

House Of Thai Rice & Noodle is our new favorite authentic Thai restaurant in Sacramento County👌🏻! The owner T, and his staff have great service. I just saw T compassionately feed a homeless gentleman tonight who was hungry and needed a plate of food during the busiest part of the dinner rush.🙌🏻❤House of Thais food is fantastic and authentic😋! Their prices are fair, you can order and share plates with your friends if you want a variety.The Thai Papaya salad is delicious, order 1 or 2 peppers for moderate spice and 4+🌶🌶 for an added kick. The Pad Thai is tasty, Pad See Ew is bomb, rard nar is yummy. For appetizers, we like the chicken satay or the chicken wings. We have been there 4 times since we discovered it about 6 weeks ago. Go try them out!👍🏻

Love the costumer service, was very polite, and nice. Food was really delicious, I would recommend to anyone. My friend odered a plate that wasnt served with rice but then the worker still served the plate with rice at no cost. They also serve detox water, the type of water with strawberries, lemon, cucumbers, mint, and apples. The best water ever.

Walked in with my brothers and I had a very very pleasant delightful first experience at a Thai resturant. Their water tasted very refreshing and healthy because of the variety of fruits and vegatable that was in the water they were serving. Dont judge a book by its cover, even though outside of the building and the environment area location it was in appeared very sketchy, but the moment you walk in you feel like you are welcomed and invited in another world. The servers were full of hospitality and their appetizer and food were carefully, delicately, beautifully presented before your eyes. When food looks presentable before your eyes that is always a plus. Highly recommend this place to everyone, most particularly to Thai food lovers out there and I will be back again for more. I have tried their thai tea, it is actually not bad. I suggest you al to give it a shot. :)
