Howies Artisan Pizza in Palo Alto

Even though this place is across the bay for us, it is always something to look forward to. Perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the amazing California weather.The locations allows for some shopping opportunity in unique mom and pop shops in the area.Went for Margherita pizza with hot baked potatoes and wings. Great tasting food and the beer and drinks selection is good as well.Do not skip them if you are in the area.

Overall ❤️❤️ I am coming back again.Food had the right flavors. My favorite was arancini. We also had the Greek salad and half-and-half pizza - Veggie and pesto pie. My favorite was pesto pie ❤️🍕Ambience and service was great. The place showed care. They had a huge party outside when we last went. Inside seats were available.The staff was very nice and polite. Do visit if you are looking for a good artisan style pizza place with vegetarian options.

Went here with a group for the first time. Service was outstanding! Pizza was really good, Cesar salad was great and the garlic bread was delicious! Next time would like to try just a pepperoni pizza instead of the fancier toppings we chose. But will definitely be back. Great pizza!

We used to love this place, but I was pretty shocked this time that the prices have gone way up, like $31 for an ok, but not amazing pizza is crazy. I mean, this place used to be an easy quick meal that was reliable. But now its pricing has it up against some proper Italian pizza places that are much better.To top it off, our recent visit included the wrapping still being on slices of prosciutto on the pizza… I mean for $31 it should be better QC than that!

Howie’s is my first choice for artisanal pizza! Pizzas and salads are all excellent and service is superb. Location is great and their outside dining is perfect. Love Howie’s! Wish they would expand back to Redwood City.

-bucatini carbonara ($18.50)its been so long since ive had a great carbonara dish at a restaurant - the one from howies was actually pretty good. the only downside for me (that doesnt really have a huge impact on the overall dish- more so what i wish was able to be change for improvement) was that it wasnt as creamy as id like and the ratio of the pasta along with the bacon was also a bit off. what made me a little disappointed was the service with the staff. originally someone had asked us to grab menus, sit down, then theyll stop by to take our orders. but we sat down for at least 10 minutes before someone (assumingly their manager/lead) asked are we ignoring our customers now? as the servers were just standing around. besides the hiccup with their service- overall this spot was super cute. theres indoor and outdoor seating -- and each spots location has their own vibes. from what it seems its definitely friends, family, and dates friendly - within the plaza theres also a lot of options for desserts, grocery running options, and some small businesses/boutiques!8/10 would recommend yall to check this place/plaza outthank you again to the staff that acknowledged my friend and i and went above and beyond to make sure we had what needed.

Pizza made with special sausage is very unique and delicious. The menu I ate was so delicious that I was curious about the taste of the other menus as well.There is dedicated outdoor seating for the dining room.

Nice place to hangout if you are in the area. They have a decent wine and beers and some beers on tap.Not the cheapest wine, but good overall taste.We only tried the homeless appetizer and boy it was big!Can easily serve three people for an appetizer.We sat at the bar area and were quickly served by the energetic Lauren !Would come back here.

Outstanding pasta and homemade sauces. The dessert are also really delicious and made in house. I love going here because i can get a fresh salad and the kids can eat pasta or pizza. My kids love this place because they are quick and the food is always excellent.

Great service! Very efficient and pizza tastes fresh! The dough leaves a lot to be desired but, good enough! They take Apple Pay!
