Clean, foods and service are good. But I try “ cơm hến “ it’s very bland, not tasty. I recommend Bún bò Huế better!

We came in and were seated immediately. Our order was taken soon after. We ordered 2 Banh Beo Chen and 1 Com Ga Nuong Plate. Both are good choices. I prefer to split 1 Banh Beo and 1 Com Ga Nuong so I can enjoy more food. The chicken is moist and tasty. It looks healthy but it still has that flavor. The Banh Beo is flavorful as well. The rice with the Nuoc Mam is one of the best parts for me. Service was good. We got 2 water refills throughout the meal. Hand sanitizer is available at the door. FYI EBT is accepted here.

This restaurant is newly remodeled and located in a big plaza. Plenty of parking spaces. They offer central Vietnamese dishes. The food is decent and the service is great. Overheard a complaint from the nearby table and the owner or manager took care of that incident extremely well. The restaurant is family friendly and handicap accessible.

This cant be Hue food. I am of a Hue decendent. The fish sauce for Banh Beo was way too blan. Very watered down. Same goes for thebroth for the Banh Canh. Barely any taste. The sauce for the Banh Khoai was a thick peanut sauce that should only go with spring rolls, not for Banh Khoai. Gross. The Com Hen didnt taste anything like the authentic dish, and we when we asked for some shrimp paste, the waitress said they dont have any. Now that says a lot. Additinally, the broth that it comes with was atrocious. Taste test first before pouring it over the Com Hen. Gross. Finally, this place is ridulously overpriced for a Vietnamese restaurant.

Authentic dishes in a modern setting. Their specialties are bánh bèo and bún bò Huế. Both are delicious! I also tried for my first time ever the cơm hến which are baby clams with rice, greens and clam broth. Service was capable.

A bit stingy of their portion and expensive.Bun Tom thit Nhuong - handful of noodle, 1 piece of meat - cut up in small pieces and 3 small shrimp.Garlic noodle with beef was too saltyThe bun bo hue was blah. Service was friendly and the food was fast, perfect for lunch during work hours and great for groups. The food here is very fresh and authentic hue, they have a lot of unique items such as the Banh beo and khoai. Bún bo hue is probably the best in the area. The Vietnamese iced coffee is also very delicious! Strong and yummy.

First time trying this place. Had the ban beo chen and bun bo hue. Fish sauce for ban beo too salty. Ban beo is all about the sauce. Bun bo hue is soggy but the taste is fine. Huong Giang restaurant is still the best in Little Saigon.

I finally got to try this place out! The bun bo hue was good! The bahn cheo I think its called was so delicious! Egg rolls were on point! I been watching Kim Thai a YouTuber that frequents this place so thats why I wanted to come and try it out! My daughters pho needed more flavor tho so thats why I gave four stars other then that it was good! The staff were nice and making sure we were good! Thanks guys!

My favorite Vietnamese restaurant ever! There is definitely a reason they were voted best Vietnamese on the OC hot list. I had the Goi Ga Bop and the chicken with the onions, shallots, mint leaves, cabbage and fish sauce is delicious. I also had the Pho Tai Filet Mignon which in my opinion is the best in the southland!! If you like Pho, you need to come to Hue Oi and try a bowl because youll never go anywhere else.

Facebook suggestion that lead me here. I flew out to Cali and the first place I went to was here. Food came out fast. Everything tasted great. The staff was wonderful. The banh beo was wonderful with the Bun Bo Hue. I am very happy.

The food is the only thing keep me from coming back for years.Service here isn’t the best but I was willing to let it go until now. Waitress made me feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. I wanted to order more food but she acted super annoyed towards me.I left feeling extremely disappointed because now I gotta find new Hue restaurant to dine at.Edit: I appreciate your response. Bad experience. I ordered Bun Bo Hue the veggies was so little compared to others restaurant so I said “ May I have some more cabbage please “ and the young waiter said ok. After 3 mins the waiter come out said we charge $2 for extra cabbage. That is so ridiculous !! What a rip-off ! Cabbage is the cheapest in the market. Some customers they ask for more and also some customers never touch it. There is different way to charge more and people happy to pay for it but this is definitely a NO NO . Never ever come back again.

Stay away from this establishment. We ordered 3 trays of bánh bèo but they informed us only 2 were available. However, new customers were able to to order these dishes. When asked, the owners (mother and daughter) tried to explain that the mớ were recently made and blamed the miscommunication on the server. Other dishes, BBH and Mỳ Quảng, are not worthy. We should stick to Quán Hợp instead of this restaurant.

We are muslims. We asked for no pork in the dish. Still they sneaked in pork rinds. When we complained they very abruptly said sorry. Then completely ignored us. They made us pay full. I think they are extremely disrespectful . There is a mosque right around the corner here. Yet they have no problem disrespecting our religion. Extremely insensitive and rude staff and management. California is a big place. There are plenty of excellent places to eat. At this day an age its heart breaking to see one minority being so harsh to people of another minority. Its absolutely shameful.

Four of us went and ordered Pho. Only one serving came out and had to wait 20 min for other 3. They said they ran out of broth. Noodle was not made for Pho. They said they ran out of noodle as well. Server did not let us know what was going on. Bad customer service. No people skill and no etiquette. Won’t be going there anymore.

Its my first time to try these delicious and authentic Vietnamese dishes and it impressed me a lot.Bánh Bèo is one of the popular street food in Vietnam, which is made from a combination of rice flour and tapioca flour. I love these sets of small steamed rice cakes, topped with ground shrimp, green onion and crispy pork skin. Dont forget to add a spoon of fish sauce before you eat them, Omg its amazing. Also, I love the Cm hn as well, it made with baby mussels or basket clams and rice. I can t describe how tasty it is, but what I know is I can eat it every day. Highly recommended!

Banh beo is perfectly seasoned and has a pork rind topping. The chilis in the fish sauce was spicy and soo good! Banh not loc was chewy and had big pieces of pork and shrimp. Egg rolls were perfectly cooked and the filling was delish. We ordered bun bo hue and werent disappointed! Its not spicy like I hoped but I really enjoyed it since it was my first meal of the day. Plenty of meat and I left feeling satisfied. I will definitely be coming back. Service was good, you just need to flag them down but thats how it is at most Asian restaurants.

Review is for the Vietnamese coffee & salted lemon drinks only. Ordered the coffee iced and received plain iced coffee. When I pointed out that I had ordered the uncharged Vietnamese coffee, she took it away and brought it back very quickly. It tasted like regular iced coffee with milk and grainy sugar, not the strong drip coffee and sweetened condensed milk. Also ordered the salted lemon drink and it had an odd flavor. Thinking they used tap water that has a residual chlorine flavor.

Came here with daddy and lil sis for brunch and I was amazed. We were skeptical at first due to all the negative reviews they received but bc most of them were about their portion size so I didn’t care and still gave them a try. We were greeted and seated right away. All servers were nice and work well together. The place was pretty clean and thank god we went early because they got really busy after we got seated. We ordered banh beo chen, bún nghêu, bún bò Huế and phở chín. The portions was just right; we were so full and couldn’t finished all our food. Most people complaining about their portions are greedy. I’ll definitely come back whenever I’m in town and yes I’ll recommend this place. Until next time!!! Peace

Inconsistent Hue restaurant, especially when it comes to Bun bo Hue. Sometimes the broth tastes too salty, sometimes its too bland and watery. Overall it lacks the lemongrass and beef flavor of a traditional Bun bo Hue. There are too little meat. Other dishes here are alright, nothing special.

This place has very good Hue food. Very tasty and no MSG. Bun Bo Hue was excellent, flavorful broth, good flavors, they dont short you on the meat either. Garlic noodles were very good, but its hard to mess that up. Ginger crab was excellent, on par with Newport Tan Cang. I forget some of the other dishes. Next time I need to try the Mi Quang. Much better than some of the other similar places in the area.

Hue Oi is Spacious and CLEAN! The Food is good also. Perfect place to bring the family and staff is friendly. Typical Vietnamese restaurants are crowded and youll smell like Pho once you leave. Hue Oi is one of the few Vietnamese restaurants i go to b/c its clean and the food is good.

This is my first time at Hue Oi and it was an overall great experience. The food was excellent and the whole family to tried all the popular dishes here. Bun Bo Hue was obviously the recommended item but my Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gia was good too. There were plenty of servers even though it was not super crowded so thats a good sight. The parking lot is shared with other businesses but not too hard to find a spot right away. The verdict is that well come back!

I frequent hue OI. I usually go for the Pho Tai. Sliced filet mignon. The beef portions are not generous and their greens are also limited to sprouts and one sprig of greens. The soup is good but perhaps a bit salty the last time I went.

Looking to satisfy your cravings of Hu food? Look no further!! Visit Hue Oi, located in Fountain Valley and minutes away from the overcrowded Little Saigon area. They have plenty of parkings here so theres nothing to worry about if you drive a big car or truck.I took my parents here on a Monday night and it wasnt very crowded. Not bad for a Monday night crowd though.We ordered several dishes, all from the central region in Vietnam. I usually order Bun Bo Hue but since my parents already ordered them, I decided to go with Mi Quang, something I dont normally order. Nevertheless I was quite impressed. Everything was tasty. I was so disappointed with the dish Thit heo luoc cuon tom chua is not very good and pricy. Never eaten the rolls with purple jam in it. The veggies in it is not what I expected to get. Its too expensive and not so tasty dish. I would not recommend it to my friends or family members about this dish.

The foods not so bad but I can tell you this that they run it like a family restaurant and its really weird sometimes you see the drama and I dont like that. Especially the owner lady was very rude to delivery guys and doesnt really speak English well or even care.I definitely dont appreciate that its not very American considering the restaurant is here in the United States !!!

I highly recommend Hue Oi Vietnamese Cuisine and Ill tell you why. I am of VN descent and live in Houston, a city with no shortage of authentic VN restaurants. In this visit to Hue Oi, I ordered six dishes: H14 Banh Uot Thit Nuong; C8 Com Bo Luc Lac; A7 Goi Ga Bop; H13 Nem Lui; B4 Bun Tom Thit Nuong; C3 Com Suon Nuong; along with A3 Cha Gio appetizer & C7 Com Chien Thap Cam for the kids. They were all excellent and authentic with the correct corresponding sauces to each dish which is key to Vietnamese cooking. You should try ANY menu item that appeals to your sensibility. A review of HUE OI is incomplete, however, without a comment about how the restaurant is presented for a deeper appreciation.HUE was the capital of Viet Nam in the 1800s or prior when the country was under monarchy rule. It is situated in the Central region of Viet Nam (mìên Trung) where the kings & queens of Viet Nam resided in 1800s or prior. Hue is also famous for its distinctively elaborate cuisine. The restaurants name HUE OI may be translated to mean a heartfelt cry by a long-lost son or daughter to their Hue motherland so far away...Upon entry at Hue Ois, I was greeted warmly by a young member of the wait staff who all wore deep purple shirts and black pants; a good sign that the restaurant cares about projecting a good image. The restaurant has an open but cozy atmosphere. I judge the cleanliness of a restaurant by how its bathrooms are kept; at Hue Oi, they are very well-kept so no concerns here; another sign the restaurant cares about having a good image. Hue Oi serves foods that are lovingly prepared by its owners, a husband and wife team, who are sharing their gift of Hue foods with the next generation as they have expanded by opening a second location in Inglewood near LAX that is being managed by their son and daughter.

I go to this restaurant at least once a week, either for lunch with friends or business lunch meetings. Everytime I come, I always order the Banh Beo and a bowl of their Pho Filet Mignon. The best Vietnamese food! Ive eaten at almost every restaurant in the OC and hands down Hue Oi has the best food. Bun Bo Hue is delicious and the broth is extremely rich in flavor. Add their house Sate Chilli sauce to make it even better. Their Banh Beo and Banh Nam are awesome. My wife loves their Pho filet Mignon. Ive been to Hue Oi at least 2x a week in the past month (ever since they moved to Fountain Valley). Cant wait to come back for more!

The Hue restaurant is very delicious, better than what I ate in Hue, especially the sour shrimp salad with boiled meat with water spinach, crab noodle soup with tapioca starch, and porridge with 100% Hue flavor. The aunt who owns the Hue restaurant is very cute, beautiful and gentle. If she sells a lot, she brings money back to Hue for charity, I appreciate her heart!
