We came to try Hui Lau Shan on a weekday as the last time we tried (a Saturday) the line was almost out the door! There was no one in front of us in line so we placed our order and were out of there in about 5 mins! We got the coconut pudding with mango, the taro & coconut with sago, the mango chewy ball, and the mango & coconut with sago. Everything we got was packaged nicely and tasted delicious. The mango was soft and sweet and paired perfectly with the sago and coconut. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for desserts that are refreshing and still satisfy that sweet tooth.

Mango Crisp itself was good — it’s like ice cream with some mango in it, cut into cubes and covered in marshmallow-y powder. The mangoes around it didn’t taste ripe though.Mango Sago was underwhelming, but maybe I just prefer tapioca pearl size and texture. Probably should have tried the Chewy Balls.Mango Swirl tasted somewhat salty? A weird mix of mango with a flowery almost soapy flavor with maybe salted cream on top.

They JUST OPENED ON 3/16. Yelp said that they were closed (wrong) but Google was right and they were open. Can be busy and hard to get a seat to eatYummy mango and variety of desserts. Good portion to have to yourself or to share if you aren’t too into desserts (…what’s wrong with you lol)Will definitely be back! Excited to see what else is to come!

Tasty mango desserts! this location seems less crowded than the cupertino one, at least at the time i went. i got the mango chewy ball bowl and the mango was very flavorful. there is some seating indoors and out. the music indoors was super loud so everyone is shouting over each other and that wasn’t very pleasant.

If youre a big fan of mango desserts and sweets, there really isnt a better place to go than this. There is everything from mango ice cream to mochi. Its actually a little bit surprising how many forms theyve managed to turn mangos into.I was also pleasantly surprised that their desserts werent sickeningly sweet, either. I was half expecting the food to be sweet to the point of being hard to finish, but the dishes were really well balanced.Give it a try if youre in the area. You wont regret it.

I went for soft opening.I’ve tried HLS in hong kong before, and I’m glad it opened near where I work.My favorite is mango coconut with sago, but their mango pancakes were good too.Service was very fast.

Heavenly Mango Sago Delight! If youre craving the perfect blend of sweetness and creaminess, look no further than the newly opened Hui Lau Shan in Milpitas. Their mango sago is a divine treat that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving for more. The mangoes are perfectly ripe and juicy, while the sago pearls are wonderfully chewy. Every spoonful is a burst of tropical delight! The ambiance is cozy, and the service is impeccable. Make sure to treat yourself to this heavenly dessert—you wont be disappointed!

Omg the mango mochi is to die for. You can’t tell where the mochi ends and the mango begins. My whole family was in love with it. Just thinking about it makes me want to get it again. I generally love Hui Lau Shan and can’t believe they closed them all in Hong Kong but how lucky we get them here in California! Everything is good here.I wish they would clean and sweep the outside tables… it was kinda gross to sit with garbage all around our feet. Had to take off 2 atmosphere stars for that.

Very nice casual snack/dessert spot. Sweet HK-style desserts that are good for yourself or as a group as theyre all easily shareable. The coconut jelly even comes in a cute and sturdy container with a lid that I saved to repurpose. 😆
