Huku Express in Fairfield

Found this place by absolute chance and I ordered 2 items that were both fresh and delicious.The cashier was very friendly and helpful. This will be my new go-to when Im in Fairfield, cant wait to try their sushurrito and other items, their menu is big.

Exactly what I was craving for.Never had a soy paper roll and it was scrumptious! Ordered: Pink Lady (tempura shrimp, avocado, wrapped in soy paper), California Roll, and a Dynamite Deluxe (tuna, salmon, avocado, deep fried).Received two chopsticks, thank you.

Huku has quickly become my favorite sushi restaurant. I have been coming here once a week for the past 5 weeks. The Crunch Monkey is my favorite. But theyre ALL delicious and service is friendly.

This is small places to get sushi, teriyaki box or even ramen. Portions are always nice size and freshh, sushi and teriyaki I have had here are good, ramen was okay, but overall rate this place 5 stars for good food, reasonable prices and large portions 👍😊

I ordered 3 rolls 2 California rolls and a Crunch monkey. The crab in the California rolls were BAD/ tasted old and fishy. I called to speak to the manager who wasn’t there, left a message… never got a call back. I called back a week later, because I was going to order again, but first I wanted my issue addressed and with the manager, who actually answered the phone. The manager said my message was probably thrown away, that’s why she never called me back. Then the manager started explaining how they had been buying low quality crab meat and just switched to crab that’s better quality; however they don’t make their crab everyday! They make it every other day. I said well I expect to have fresh crab or fish in my sushi, eating old crab is disgusting. The manager was rude and said she wasn’t going to help me or do anything, she wasn’t going to make fresh crab just for me… and she said don’t order or come back ever again. Thank you manager I will never come back to eat the worst sushi ever again. No, this is definitely not worth my money.

Super fresh. Owners were kind and courteous. A bit steep on the price but it’s worth it.

Great house rolls but the vegetarian rolls were too simple, half the size of the house rolls hence I guess why they were half the price.

Very tasty roll, fresh and made to the order. I love it so much and the 50%off all rolls just sealed the deal ! I be back! Thx 4 open !

The spicy chicken teriyaki rice bowl and the smoked salmon sashimi is a 10. I would definitely go back and will be going back..

This place was ok. Decent food and offerings. Not crowded at all which was convenient but not a good sign. You get a lot of food for the money so its a good value. The flavor was just not popping. I had a bento box with teriyaki beef and the teriyaki flavor was, meh. I had the Dynamite roll and it was ok flavor wise. So all in all the place is ok.
