I ordered pick up from here for the first time and everything was good. I will definitely go back. This is another healthy option I can add to my list 😃 they have a lot of good options for people of all different diets. You also get to build yourself 💜 P.S ( Way better than cava in my opinion !)

Service is really great here and very informative. The food is fresh and healthy. The decor is very simplistic and appealing to the eye. The drinks are also very refreshing. I had the chicken Shawarma bowl. Super yummy will be back.

Best casual dining restaurant in LA.Do you like Tex mex? Yeah, well, I did, but now I’m over it after having this.There’s a new player in town and I’m putting my mouth where my money is (or where it goes to say the least).Hummus Republic.Andy provides exceptional upbeat service with a superior healthy vegan product. He is very accommodating and hospitable. I get the falafel bowl, with a warm grilled pita bread on the side, with a mix of couscous, garbanzo beans, three kinds of hummus spreads, toasted chick peas, a grilled jalapeño, grilled eggplant, freshly prepared 6 falafels balls, topped with an array of salads and veggies, chile sauce and vegan dressings. Mmmm. I’m making myself hungry again just writing this. And I just finished a bowl!I highly recommend this place. and let the experience speak for itself. This place is incredible! Generous portions ( somebody get me a stretcher), and very delicious foods. I never walk out hungry. There are plenty of vegan options. I will definitely be back! ( And I have definitely been back! ) This is an amendment to my original post. (And yes, my enthusiasm authentically matches the taste and experience of enjoying this food. )

Such a gem in downtown burbanks. The food is very filling and tasty with great variety and the staff is really friendly. I got a bowl, with falafel and steak mix on cuscus and mixed greens and i think the crunchy chickpeas took it to the next level. The lemonades were really refreshing too. I highly suggest this place and wish there was one closer to me

Hummus Republic is a new spot on the San Fernando Strip in Burbank, Ca. I stumbled upon it in my way to a different restaurant. Their sign on the sidewalk was enticing, so I figured Id check it out. Im so happy I did!! Hummus Republic is very fresh! The atmosphere is light and a little trendy. Its bright, fun, and clean. I was greeted by whom I assume is the owner. He was so welcoming and immediately went into his spiel about what they offer. There are seemingly endless choices. I got the bowl, which is apparently the most popular option. The bowl comes with a base, your choice of three types of hummus, a green option, and a slew of other sides....then, you pick a protein. They have veggie, vegan, and meat options. This bow is large enough to share, but sensible enough to finish on your own. And its reasonably priced! I love this place and definitely recommend it. I will be eating here again.

I’m so glad we found this restaurant! We are big fans of Cava so when we stumbled across Hummus Republic we were beyond excited. The owner is very friendly and gave us HUGE portions. The food was very flavorful, ingredients were fresh and the price was so reasonable. We will be regulars for sure. 😋

The vegan options are AMAZING !! and so inclusive I can really tell the owner took many people into consideration when creating this delicious menu. The owner was so kind and welcoming and really hooked the food up!! Gentlemen asked me if it was my first time visiting, then proceeded to walk me through each station. Great options! ThinK Mediterranean chipotle. I went with a 95% vegan bowl (one sauce had cheese 😝) built my way. Too much to explain what I liked on, but wide selection of options. The bowl it piled high and reasonably priced. And, overall the flavors were pleasant. I judge a place as to if I would return and I can say I certainly will. Good, friendly service and food. Nah

OMG this place is so good, wasnt expecting it to be! we were walking around looking for somewhere to get some fries and usually places like this have great fries. We went in and they dont have fries. We almost walked out but decided to stay. All the hummuses are really good, the grandma hot sauce is unreal! The drinks are super good, the smoked babaganoush is excellent. get some fries please!

A wide section of fresh, tasty food! We got bowls and they filled it past the brim with unlimited veggies of choice. Too much couscous on the bottom of the bowl for our liking, but the salad itself was very tasty. The hummus was so fresh, smooth, and tasty; one of the best I’ve had! He gave us a sample of the falafel and it was delicious! Excellent service; very friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. Will come back!

Found this place whilst walking to the Chipotle. So glad we did!!!! It’s delicious & friendly. I didn’t realize it wasn’t 100% vegan/plant based, so I asked for the chicken shawarma, thinking it was “chicken”. But it’s real chicken & on realizing that I didn’t eat that, he IMMEDIATELY remade my bowl, no question, no problem! This place is a gem!! And everyone can be happy, even if your group has vegans, vegetarians, and meat eaters. 10/10 recommend!! Oh, and the falafels are FABULOUS!

Wow! I’m so happy that I found Hummus Republic! I just had a Moroccan Steak Pita and it was absolutely delicious! Hands down the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in LA. Really good food but make sure they charge you for what you got! Ive been there twice, and both times they tried to charge me for a bowl ($14.95) when I got a pita wrap which is supposed to be $11.95. It sucks becuase I really like this place but its annoying to have to check the recipt every time I go.EDIT: They have taken this into account and have never charged me over the ammount again. Amazing food I reccomend to everyone who stops by the burbank mall. I reccomend trying their different lemonade flavors!

You must eat here! I arrived at my hotel, found my favorite place to order delivery from only to see that they aren’t delivering today. I now have 2 favorite places!I got the Moroccan Steak Bowl. I was starving so I way over ordered but it’s still so good. It looks just as good as the pictures. The lemonade is even amazing!Fabulous customer service from the restaurant too! This place! So glad I randomly picked it for lunch with friends. Its so GOOD! Its a chipotle style service where you pick the ingredients you want in your bowl/wrap/pita as you go along. Everything we had was super tasty. Most things there are super healthy and vegetarian/vegan friendly. The very friendly owner was there as well and came to check on our table. I will definitely be back and cant recommend this place enough!

This place needs to have rice. I’ve never seen a Mediterranean restaurant with no rice option. Who wants that dried up tasteless couscous and most people avoid wheat these days which is what couscous is made from. Not nutritional at all. Flavors of the overall bowls is good but the portion is extremely inconsistent depending on who’s working and what mood they’re in. Many items always run low or are completely out no matter what time you go at.

After seeing some good reviews we gave this a try for lunch. The food and service were both excellent - tasty and fresh and a generous serve. It was so good we returned again the next day and were greeted warmly. We tried the bowl this time and they were great - in reality the serve size is perhaps too large but that said the food was so good we ate it all. Heartily recommend you give this place try.

I was on my way to Chipotle but I saw Hummus Republic and remmebered that my vegan friend said this was one of his favorites, so I went in. I was a little nervous but the man behind the counter, Arby, was so friendly, energetic, and helpful. I tried some new thing and didnt know if Id like it but I LOVED it. 9 out of 10, 5 out of 5.you could probably combine anything there no matter how different and still love the result. Honestly this place is pretty great and Im probably gonna come back soon. Food and service are *chefs kiss* awesome.

My father and I have owned and operated Mediterranean style restaurants in the past. We tried the food and loved it. Having a Mediterranean family background, its hard to find a tasty fast food Mediterranean spot as we are always comparing the food to homemade. Confusing options and menu. Just not my thing I guess. Sauces are too hot. Some options cost more, but this isnt apparent by the posted menu. Mushrooms cost extra. They put forks behind the drink dispenser where you cant see them. Sugar free means their drinks are full of toxic chemical sweeteners. They have no unsweetened options besides water. Food tastes nasty actually. Everything is served cold even though I see heat lamps....I basically spent $21 on a bowl of veggies (rolls eyes) Ridiculous.

Incredible, incredible service. Friendly. Always “apologizing” if there’s a bit of a (normal!) wait. Portions as large or small as you desire. Customizable! Delicious roasted jalapeños, fire feta, and other hummus/sauces. The vegan beef is great as well as falafel for us vegetarians. Compostable nearly everything (including plastic cups.) Can’t say enough good things about this place and (who I think is) the owner.

I like humus so I liked this place. The falafel was a nice addition to all the choices they had. I thought the cafeteria style decision making was a bit odd and unexpected. But I did get to see it before I bought it. Like most things in Burbank I feel its a bit overpriced. But the food is good and I will go back.

The food was delicious and fresh. I did a Falafel bowl with Couscous and Salad mix. Added some Roasted Eggplant & Spicy Hummus. Complimented it nicely with a Jalapeño & grilled eggplant and some salad add ins. Everything was fresh and delicious. The grandma green spicy sauce on top is great for those who love some zest!It was so good, I got a second bowl to go and brought it back to NYC with me. Ill be back!

If I could leave 7 stars I would.. Not only is the food amazing, very fresh, and very vegan friendly, the customer service is one of a kind. I have placed multiple, exceptionally large orders from this place and they have always been accurate and fast. Portion size is also good. To my DISBELIEF, the owner himself personally helped me carry a large bag of food to my car despite telling him I could handle it on my own. I didnt know this kind of customer service even existed anymore. Were not talking to the curb he literally walked a block with me to make sure my food got to my car safely!!! Woah! So happy Hummus Republic opened up in downtown Burbank. Stumbled upon them during their soft opening yesterday. The food was amazing! Their menu is vegan/ vegetarian friendly. They have amazing options for meat lovers too. The concept is a build your own. I tried their mushroom shawarma on a baguette and it was just out of this world. The pice is very affordable. I’m Lebanese and usually I can be very hard on Mediterranean spots, but I will treat this place as an Americanized version. for example DO NOT get the tabboule because it is NOT tabboule. It looks like Bulghur with a few drops of parsley when is should be the opposite, or maybe they shouldnt call it tabboule.Otherwise, the flavors are real good. Very hearty meals but you can still make them healthy. Wide variety of fresh ingredients. Hummus is good. the Couscous is good. The Feta is a fav.Downside is there beverage selection is weak. Went here tonight and the woman working made my food without wearing gloves. I noticed she was wearing gloves when making other people’s food before me, but for some reason took them off and proceeded to make food. I’ve been here many times before so I asked her if she normally wears gloves and she said “yeah I do but tonight we are really busy”. What about customer health and safety????
