We ordered pepper fried pork and several vegetable dishes. All of them taste authentic and not too salty. The portion is huge and price is reasonable. The staff is also very friendly. We will definitely come back when we crave spicy Chinese food!

Ordered some random dishes but all turned out to be delicious. Large portions. We couldn’t finish it. Totally worth every penny. Server is very friendly. Love this place. I’ll definitely come back.

Pork stomach & chicken soup is amazing! It’s well-seasoned and delicious. Steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables is a little bit dry then I expected. Overall, it’s a good experience!

Ordered large pot with beef tongue and chicken with extra tofu in medium spicy. The food is great. Large portions. We couldn’t finish it. Totally worth every penny. Server is very friendly. Love this place. I’ll definitely come back.

My first visit to Hunan House this Friday.Overall experience was good. I wasnt sure about the spicy of food from the beginning. Manager so kind to accommodate my issue with one of the dish.There is one thing need to be improved. to-go containers are not really clean.They look like used before.Will like to try their grilled catfish next visit.My friends really love their chicken soup !! Spicy but really delicious 😋

One of the purest Hunan restaurants in the bay area in my opinion. The chefs are from Changsha, Hunan. The roasted fish and hot peper with pork are my favorite dishes.

Tasty food. We had the “Griddle Cooked” special, which comes in a variety of sauces (4), 4 heat levels, and about 20 meat/veggie options. We chose garlic, duck, mild. It was perfect.We also had the fish fillet w pickled vegetables. Was almost buttery delicious while the pickled veggies gave an almost lemongrass flavor.

Not worth, time pass. ask you to download menu but there is very limited network service. takes couple minutes to download load the menu. They don’t have latest paper menu.They don’t take requests to change anything in order.double the price from every one else.I would rather go to Indian restaurant.

As someone from the Szechuan province, this is the perfect Hunan restaurant for me. The dishes are spicy but not super spicy. They have the sort of mixed sour, numb and spicy flavor that is amazingly tasty. My favorite one is the House Special Chicken with Bamboo Shoots, or Dong An Chicken (东安鸡).One thing I don’t like is that, sometimes I have to wait for more than 30mins for my food, especially when the restaurant is full of customers. I guess they don’t really have a big-enough kitchen.

Some dishes are good, but some are bad, especially those non spicy dishes. Meats are obviously frozen. High price as Shang Cafe, but much worse quality and consistency.

I liked the Preserved Eggs w.Green Pepper & Eggplant which I think is their signature dish - big portions and has a unique texture. Hunan Style Sauteed Pork is also another go-to dish - had a good balance of spicy and savory flavor.

The cross-bridge beef is delicious, the Dongan chicken is tasteless, the stinky tofu is okay, the marinade tastes a bit strange, and the chili has basically no spiciness. I, a Hunanese, feel a little disappointed overall.
