Large portions, decent price, friendly service. Didn’t love the taste of my Gen Tsau chicken. I know fish sauce is authentic, but I don’t care for it. Also not a fan of water chestnuts in Gen Tsau.

We got off to a bad start when I had to tell her five different times I wanted pork spare ribs covered in black bean sauce over rice she could not comprehend that as it was being indicated toher in English.. I was served with no napkins no fork no soy sauce and I had to ask for a single hot sauce. I was told the price on the phone was $14.25 when I got there it suddenly became I got diarrhea after the first serving like a jet engine airplane was coming out my backside it was not a positive experience I shall never go back there and its probably one of the worst places that Ive eaten in all the Chinese food restaurants in my life and theres probably been about 75 of them worst service worst absolute communication and the food was absolutely dismal Ive had better spare ribs and black bean sauce over rice at a buffet... I got an order of ginger beef, pot stickers, and chow mein to go. I have also dined in. The food is amazing. The ginger beef was soooo tender. Everyone is very friendly and the service is great. I highly recommend this Hunans for lunch or dinner.

Tried this location during lunch in Friday. Got the classic broccoli beef lunch special for takeout . Pros: great price($10), great location, generous proportions, quick service. Con: my opinion is that if a Chinese restaurant can’t make a great broccoli beef then it’s not a great 5 star location. The meat was chewy/ low quality and not very tasty. But the pros balance it out, specially with other items in the menu that I haven’t tasted yet. So a 4 star for now is fair. But I’ll definitely give them another try. Maybe Mongolian beef?

Easily the best Chinese spot in the area. Do yourself a favor and try this place out the next time you want Chinese food.Also, the staff inside always have a great positive attitude when you go in to pick up your food.

This place is goated. Its the best Chinese in the area. You can taste the difference. Its definitely rocking msg vibes hard. That tastes like classic Asian dishes.

Ordered takeout. Lemon chicken is just deepfried chicken in a box with the most yellow dyed syrup sauce youll ever see. It dyed the plastic to-go cup it came in. The chow mein was inedible and the beef was spongy. Everyone that ate the food had sore stomachs later. All 3 of us. When I eat in, Im not usually this dissapointed but after this, Ill be driving to a better spot over kirker.

Great quality, great service! After we were seated they gave us water, tea, soup, and a couple of egg rolls. We ordered the house fried rice, honey walnut prawns, and salt and pepper pork chops. They had large portions and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. Our waiter was also so kind, we’d definitely come back again!

Great food and reasonable prices. Its been a local favorite for years. The lunch specials are some of the best deals around and they include hot tea. Their Hot & Sour soup is delicious.
