My family has been going to this place for years. Great food, large portions sizes, last my family of at least 2 to 3 meals. Even with my brother eating a lot of food. Food always ready in 15 minutes when you order to- go. If you decide to eat at the restaurant, keep in mind the restaurant is small, so a group larger then 4 I would call ahead.

Your friendly neighborhood Chinese restaurant. A cute little no frills local restaurant that does the job. Honestly, I was expecting bigger portions but it is what it is. Everything was satisfying but unremarkable. There is only a handful of restaurants that I tell people are absolutely The Best. Hunan is one of those. Not only is the food delicious, the service is 100% friendly, welcoming, and warm. I have been coming here for years now and I can tell you all, the food is DELICIOUS! Yes the Bay Area has a lot of great food, but Hunan is definitely the best Chinese restaurant here.Big thanks to Jessica (not real name lol) and the great staff at Hunan for welcoming us all to this spot.My favorite dish: The Sesame Chicken. But you cannot go wrong with anything here. Try it all and enjoy!

One of the best Chinese food restaurants Ive been to in a while. I tried it on a whim and it instantly became my default go-to for the future. The chicken was cooked perfect and of good quality and all the fruit and vegetables in the dishes Ive tried so far were fresh, and clearly not frozen or from a can. The sweet and sour chicken with fresh cut pineapple was especially good.

I had high hopes for this place, but came away very disappointed. I ordered chicken chow mein, which judging from the menu seemed to be one of Hunans staples. It was basically a big pile of noodles with hardly any visible vegetables and little chicken. Definitely not going back.

Food was amazing!! Really fresh and it wasnt super greasy. I got the Mongolian beef, sesame chicken & shrimp chow mein. First time ordering here and I will be coming back again. Very good prices for the portions you receive. Two ladies in the front were very nice and quick!

Good for American Chinese. There is nothing amazing or inspiring here. But the food is good for the price and it is consistent. Reasonable service too. This is our go to spot for easy food, especially with our kids.The asparagus beef special was cooked with a black bean sauce. It was tasty.They recently added a $20 minimum for credit cards. It used to be 10.

Where do I start, been coming here for more than 10 years, food is delicious and prepared the healthy way, customer service is the best, sad for pandemia but good they open now, I love that is run by a family which is why the great customer service.Best I ever tried anywhere: Fried rice, Honey Prawns, Brócoli beef, sesame chicken, wonton soup, hot & sour soup, and their delicious rice noodles. Every time I try a new Chinese dish I try to keep it in here, it’s been worth!! Keep up the great food and work!!

I hate giving bad reviews specially since it was our first time trying this restaurant out. My family and I were excited to try their food since its near us and it has good reviews. On Saturday 7/31/21 around 6:40 pm I called to place our order over the phone and my Bf picked it up. We were enjoying our food, when We got to the potstickers I felt something when I was chewing my potsticker, my first thought was “it’s probably a bone” but no to my surprised it was a piece of sharp metal!! Im just glad my kids did not get to the potstickers!!! I called them right away and let the lady on the phone know what happened and she asked if I was okay and I told her “yes but please be careful what you are serving” she asked if I wanted a new order of potstickers on my next visit and I told her no its okay. She said “it was probably the basket where we put the potstickers, we will change it right away” We will definitely not be coming back after this. People please be careful. We hope this does not happen again to anyone else.

This is our go to restaurant for takeaway. There are many closer, this is about a six mile round trip, but they are fast and friendly and the food is great. We order from home and by the time we get there it is usually waiting for us. Maybe 15 minutes. What do we get? Crab wantons, fried prawns, sweet and sour pork, tomato beef, chicken with black beans and special fried rice.

This was probably one of the best Chinese food spots Ive been to. Everything tastes and looks so fresh. We tried the sesame chicken, pork fried rice, Mongolian beef and chicken chow main. Unfortunately this was one time I didnt think about taking pictures. I dont eat Chinese food very often but Ill be making an except to come back and try more of their dishes.

Ive been coming here to this Chinese fast food place for years and Ive noticed the prices are very high plus when you order take out they dont give you a lot of food in white plastic container. Im very disappointed. Today i ordered a plain won ton soup and they dont hardly put no meat in wontons plus no vegetables in soup. The soup and some pork on side was almost 40$$

Got takeout here due to the high online ratings. Ordered the beef chow fun, hunan chicken and sauteed broccoli. The noodles were good, but the chicken was essentially soggy honey chicken. The broccoli was way overcooked and the sauce it was served in was incredibly slimy. Im also fairly certain they overcharged me by at least $10. Wont be returning here, sadly, as there are many better Chinese takeout restaurants nearby.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 16 years. The staff is very friendly and knows the several different types of orders I make by heart but they also know the sauces Iike on the side depending on what we order that day. Its rare to find people who take this much pride in their restaurant and care this much for their customers anymore.
