Delicious Korean fusion brunch and lunch menu. Staff is super accommodating and friendly. We tried the raspberry lemonade, cucumber lemonade, salmon avocado toast, galbi burger, fried chicken sandwich, tofu bibimbap, kimchi biscuits, dumplings, and dirty fries. Everything delicious, highly recommend !

Tried Hungry Crowd for the first time and will definitely be back because theres a ton of things I want to try! The tofu bibimbap was delicate and tasty and my husband couldnt stop raving about the loco Moco. Add in the happy hour beers and we were definitely happy customers. The staff was very attentive, and yet we didnt feel rushed at all. Very good experience!

When Im craving Korean food but dont want to drive far, Hungry Crowd does the job. The bibimbap with bulgogi (pictured) is fantastic. Service is always friendly. The room itself is fairly non-descript. You can get great deals at happy hour, though its hardest to get a table at this time!

Everything was amazing. The menu is a unique Korean American blend and everything we tried was delicious. The dirty fries with spicy pork were so good I would have been satisfied with 3 orders of them for dinner. But the skirt steak was incredible, cooked perfectly and the polenta was a side dish different from the usual potatoes. We also had bibimbap in a stone pot, the rice was crispy and the vegetables cooked well. The service was very attentive and their prices are very reasonable for what you get in that area. We will definitely be back.

This place is always delicious! Just tried the katsu burger - a breaded pork cutlet topped with an Asian-inspired slaw and barbecue sauce - and need another soon. Other favorites are the dumplings and shishito peppers for appetizers, the crab Benedict on the Saturday/Sunday brunch menu, the salmon carpaccio and salmon salad, and fried chicken. Service is friendly and gracious.

The owner & staff are so friendly. Everytime I go, I only get the Galbi burger because Im just in love with the flavor. Lol But my girlfriend put me on to this place. I love their thin cut fries too. But definitely a great cozy spot to eat some good food, and to have good, friendly service. 5 Stars Indeed.

This restaurant never disappoints. This was my second time coming here a and then husband’s first and everything was *chef kiss*! The service is so great. The food is absolutely delicious. I got the katsu burger and the husband got the kimchi white clam pasta. So tasty! Definitely go here. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent food and service! Our party had the French toast, eggs Benedict with crab. Bibimbap. Kimchi fried rice, and the dirty fries. All were beautifully presented and delicious! We had about a 15 min wait because we had a larger party (of 5), but smaller groups are able to be seated much sooner. Found parking on the small side streets, the small lot in back of the restaurant has only 2 spots. Located right next to the Trader Joe’s.

Clean and vibrant restaurant with a welcoming staff. Located on Riverside drive next to the Trader Joes in Toluca Lake so look out for street parking. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed. When we asked our waiter for recommendations, he was very insightful and answered our hunger needs.We ordered the Japchae with Bulgogi and the Trouffle Honey Fried Chicken. It was more than enough for the two of us. Very satisfying, flavorful and hit the spot.The japchae was cooked just right and it wasnt lacking in Bulgogi. It looks like a small portion but dont be fooled. It is shareable between two people. And the fried chicken was juicy yet perfectly crisp with a hint of truffle and slaw that paired wonderfully with the chicken. We plan to come back to explore more dishes. So Ill SYOY or at the Hungry Crowd. Lol

This was my first time here. My boyfriend and I came because it was within walking distance of our place and read a lot of good reviews. The staff were so nice and prompt, and the food was delicious!! We had the garlic edemame to start, and the galbi burger and katsu burgers for our mains. The burgers were cooked perfectly and juicy. I definitely recommend this place, and well be coming back to try more!

Went on a Sunday around 1pm. Waited just a bit for an inside table for 3. Very nice atmosphere and great service. Interesting Korean American fusion and Im all for it! Kimchi rice was great and spicy and the kimchi biscuits were delicious as well. My friends had salads and I had the bibimbap in a hot stone bowl. Very delicious! Street parking and they serve wine and beer.

The best place to eat in Toluca Lake! Not only is the food consistent, incredible and delicious. The atmosphere feels like a second home from the warmness and contagious laughter from the owner Michael. He feels like the older brother that you want to arrive with at the same time at every family gathering! The kimchi biscuits, salmon carpaccio, gyoza, scallops and steak is beyond phenomenal. The shrimp tacos are to die for. The most addicting, juicy and delictable ribs. The seabass is some of the best I have ever had. We usually order for takeout and the food is always great! Not oily, quality ingredients, flavorful! We went in person today at prime lunch time. It was busy, so its a popping place with nice vibes. We were seated outside, and I heard from passerbyers comments that this looked like the busiest its been. The server was super sweet. The owner was so genuinely apologetic and kind for any delays since we had to leave within the hour. He definitely takes care of his customers! It worked out otherwise. Just feel bad they were so busy and they were working so hard to accommodate such a random busy lunch day! It happens everywhere. We love this place for its food and service, so well return!

Innovative and excellent. i cant say enough great things about the polenta the fried chicken and the kimchee biscuits. the only complaint would be the parking situation but in the age of uber that isnt a huge issue. the staff is wonderful friendly and kind and they care about their diners. the owner recognized my party as frequent customers of a restaurant he used to work at years ago. please support this place!

It is a nicely appointed and casual restaurant. I had dinner with five friends. The menu is very large. I prefer a paper menu to a digital one, it is hard to see on my small cell phone screen.The service was very good and the staff was informative.We ordered several dishes. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!I stumbled upon this hidden gem in Burbank a few months ago when looking for a local brunch place to go to.I called and made a reservation which was extremely quick and painless.Upon arriving, we were greeted with big smiles and fantastic service. I chose the Kimchi Fried Rice (probably my favorite dish so far). The food was served on a hot plate and was so incredibly delicious. I knew I had to come back.Since that day, I have returned at least twice a month with my friends and husband and we have tried a variety of food options from the menu and can attest that EVERYTHING is phenomenal and fresh.(Weve all tried bibimbap, eggs benedict, kimchi fried rice, chocolate gelato, dirty fries with bulgogi, and the breakfast sandwich)Their IPA is also really great, and Im not a huge IPA drinker.Also, their bottomless mimosas are what you actually want them to be vs what you get at most brunch places.There is indoor and outdoor seating and the patio/outdoor area is dog friendly. I had the Japchae dish with Tofu that was absolutely perfect! Hubby had TrufﬂeHoney, Fried Chicken & Slaw, which he raved about! Fried but not greasy and absolutely delicious. Amazing food! Lots of Korean-inspired dishes, but with an American twist. They have a lovely outdoor dining area and are available for takeout as well. I’ve eaten here a few times, mostly after church, with my choir. You cannot go wrong with the food choices here.The last thing I ate was the honey truffle fried chicken and slaw. It was sooo delicious! If you’ve ever had Korean fried chicken wings, the skin is consistent with that, but had honey and white truffle flavor. The slaw was also very good. I’m not usually a fan of slaw, but this one had a really balanced flavor. My husband had the ribs and polenta. The ribs had an Asian flavoring to it and it was fall off the bone scrumptious. The polenta was creamy and the flavor subdued, which complemented the explosion of flavor of the ribs.I definitely recommend this place! Also, help a local business out 😊

Greeted by the owner just outside of the door. He offered us menus and a friendly smile.Now, we are regulars. We brought our friend, Susanna with us and she had the White Kimchi Pasta. She thought it was great. I had the Bibimbap and it was good as youd expect for this simple dish. This place is so good! We ordered the Mac and Cheese it was a super unique dish and a must try! Perfect Appetizer for two! I got the galbi burger and she got the bulgogi eggs Benedict. Both the K- BBQ and the the Angus Beef has a true authentic Korean taste. The owner is very nice and the customer service was excellent. We got to eat outside on the bench! The fries were OK (on the cheap/frozen side, dressed up with some seasoning). Food came out quick and customer service was excellent. Will definitely order from here again!EDIT: Tried their smoky Beyond Burger - it was pasty(?!) and tasted pretty bad - like mushy breadcrumbs mixed with sesame seeds. My only disappointment is I feel that the menu is a little too broad and doesnt let the Korean influence really shine through. I find that as Im looking through the menu, Im only looking at the items that riff on Korean food. I dont want to come here for a burger or pasta because there are really good options already for those things in this area. Id like to see this place really pick a thing and excel at it to fill a niche that Riverside doesnt already have.

Lovely little spot on Riverside! Our server was the co-owner. He helped us select several amazing dishes, including the kimchi biscuits, corn and polenta, kimchi fried rice and salmon. The patio is dog friendly (great for us since our golden loves to go out for dinner), but they dont serve alcohol outside. Fantastic dining experience and we cant wait to go back!

Amazing Korean Fusion restaurant. You can see there is an attention to detail in both food and atmosphere. We started with the Arugula salad. It was perfect. The Salmon Carpaccio was delicious. The Bulgogi tacos were great, I especially liked the fresh cut onions and tomatoes. Cut finely and from a professionally trained chef. The Beef Ribs were cooked perfectly and were very meaty. My only thought was that the sauce was a bit sweet for my tastes, but it was still delicious. My only disappointment was the kimchee fried rice. Not bad, but Ive had better. We finished with a great banana dolce de leche dessert. Im definitely coming back to try their brunch.

Highly underrated fusion operation in Toluca Lake. While the locals havent caught on yet (theyre missing out!!), the rest of us have... multiple times. Personally, the Bibimbap, Kimichi Fried Rice, breakfast burrito, and anything bulgogi are all the rage. Plus their lemonades are fantastic, the service is excellent, and youll for sure meet the owner whos there working everyday and is incredibly kind. Make this a staple, south SF valley!

Great place to have brunch if you are planning to go to Universal for the day or are just in the area. The kim chee cheddar bacon biscuits are just as good as the CBB from Manhattan Beach Post. We had the Kalbi Loco Moco, kim chee fried rice and chicken and waffles. Everything was prepared beautifully. Portion size was just right, not too big or small. My only vice was gravy on the loco moco. The patty has a perfect sweetness to it but to top it off with sweet gravy is a little overkill. Really disappointed with the options for non alcoholic drinks. The cucumber lemonade tasted more like pickle juice and the raspberry lemonade was just as bad. Why not offer something like mango, passionfruit or even guava?
