Loved it! My boyfriend and I had a good time. The customer service was good and the quality of the food was great, had a few drinks. I would def recommend it to have a good time with friends.
Eating while listening to Blackpink was the best I time had at this place.
Our first time at any Korean BBQ and we chose a great place to try. Everything was wonderful and the gave us great suggestions on what to try. Definitely coming back.
The service is really great. Everything comes out fast. The atmosphere is very quiet so you can hear each other. The list of meat for AYCE is small but delicious. My favorite is the spicy pork! Definitely recommend this place for AYCE KBBQ.
Hwangs Restaurant is a pretty small Korean restuarant with an all-you-csn eat Korean BBQ option. While their BBQ memu options arent abundant, the meats they do have to offer are quite decent. The one thing that was discomforting were the awakard swivel stools they have you sit in. My butt felt like a pancake after getting up from my table.
NOT ALL YOU CAN EAT! They currently do not offer their AYCE option. We went in expecting this and were unfortunately disappointed.
Strange setting inside. Almost like eating at a friends house. The food is very good quality. The service was good for us, but was not consistent. One recommended improvement is to offer kimchee with the Korean BBQ orders.
Its no longer all you can eat as it displays outside. Now u have to pick from 3 pre-made categories and then its just a pound each of the 3 meats. So if you have like 5 ppl with you, that isnt enough. They no longer serve the salad in the beginning. Its overpriced. It cost 100 for 3 meats, and one beer. Will never go here again.
I love this place! The menu is a bit different than before, however the food is always good. Youll need to order from the menu, per combinations to experience the Korean BBQ feast. Theyll cook it for you in the kitchen and place a small stove at your table. Outdoor dining is open. During these difficult times, the service is always 5 stars. Come out and support your local KBBQ spot.
Love this place since I first came here. They were extremely polite to us and helped us order since it was our first time. It’s not an all you can it but it has great options for a good price ! We come here every chance we get because it’s that great. The staff and always attentive and friendly. I really love this place!
We’ve always enjoyed going here for our Korean food fix, friendly staff. What started out at $16.99 for all you could eat from a fixed menu became $23.99 just before COVID-19 shut them down. We thought they were a casualty but turns out after driving by this week that they are open again with limited seating outside. Food is no longer all you can eat but you pick from a menu, see attached photo of items and pricing. A little pricy. I will add another review once we visit today 9-5-20 to advise on portions in relation to prices. One thing not mentioned on menu with meals are sides that traditionally cone when ordering. It does mention sides on boxed meals.

Service was very slow. Pork belly and black pork belly lacked flavor. The marinated beef and spicy pork had the same seasoning. Beef ribs were the best option. Its all you can eat for $22.95 per person
Went on a Monday around 5. The place itself seems a bit small, about 8 grills in the main room and a few private rooms for the ayce. The place is ran by some very friendly older women. The portions are big when you order so i would recommend asking for a half order or just for a little bit. The bulgogi wasn’t as flavorful as others I’ve had, but still very good. Most of the things one would need like napkins, water, and utensils are all around the area for people to grab so there’s not much need to keep flagging down somebody to get you things besides food. Also keep in mind that the chairs are padded stools and don’t have back support. Still a very fun and tasty restaurant, I’ll definitely be back!
Oh man, first time at a Korean bbq. It was outstanding. You have to try it. Well lit, around 10 tables, excellent choices. My favorites were brisket (#1), sliced beef (#5) & the ribs (#6 or #7).
Many Korean BBQ restaurants have similar food style, but too many are noise bombs with over-loud K-Pop or other piped audio. Hwangs is different -- a pleasant quiet place to enjoy food and conversation.A fixed-price all-you-can-eat grill-at-the-table BBQ, service is pleasant and attentive. Staff will pleasantly bring repeats of whatever you desire, including salads and veggies and the various pickle dishes that are not an afterthought. They pleasantly bring what you specially like or ask for.Will return.
Awesome food and service. Safe area no drama. Multi- races and cultures Ive seen. Been back a few times. They have most sides. If they dont bring one you are familiar with just ask. Not enough table space for all the different ones.
Good place for AYCE Korean BBQ, especially for a late night craving (open till 1am) when all other places are closed. Swivel seats with no backing didnt bother me, and easier to get in&out compared to booths. I didnt have any issues with the service, although I noticed that the staff seemed more upbeat and friendly to Korean speaking customers, but with others it was more of a diplomatic interaction. It didnt bother me, but just putting it out there for those that like a smile with their service. As for bang for your buck, there are less expensive KBBQ in the area, or fancier ones in the same price range, but for late night this may be the only one open.
When we arrived there were plenty of available tables open. There were about 10 choices of meats available compared to other Korean barbecues that may offer up to 30 options for the same price. There was no advertise lunch or dinner menu specials to distinguish price.We had a pleasant experience with hiccups that included not being served rice, sides, and constantly asking for waiters attention. Amazing atmosphere, excellent service, they never allow your food choices or side dishes to go empty, amazing high quality great tasting food. Im a big fan of their chicken and spicy pork I definitely recommend!
This place is nice and simple for AYCE KBBQ. They have a smaller selection but they are not incredibly crowded and loud. They have window seating and seating in the middle if you dont want AYCE. The best part is that they dont Baby you and cook your food for you to hurry you out the door. They are very welcoming and multiple people will see if you need more of anything.
It is a small place, but it is the most mellow Korean BBQ restaurant that we have ever visited. The excellent marinated meats and attentive staff convinced us that we need to plan on regular return visits.
This Place is AYCE and a good price. They have all my favorites, cucumber kimchi, kimchi, kimchi jjigae...I like kimchi :). They also have brisket and pork belly with my favorite jalapeño dipping sauce. Will definitely come back

Terrible service. Called out the service requests several times but they just ignore me. Also had a water leakage from the ceiling. They didn’t charge me since I was so upset. Foods are ok but don’t go this place if you enjoy your meal.
Most of the meat was great and their all you can eat is very affordable. One of the meats came out frozen tho so it became very tough on the grill

The food wasnt worth the amount of money they charge. There are a lot of KBBQ places on Western, I gave that moon KBBQ the last reviewer stated and just just as satisfied without breaking the bank.

I got to eat unlimited amounts of delicious meat and the price was very reasonable. I really enjoyed it. I ate brisket, beef ribs, and beef bulgogi, and the meat was good and delicious. A variety of side dishes were provided, and the kids ate them very well.This is my 3rd Korean food in 4 days of travel and I love it~^^ hahareally! I rented a car and had easy parking.

Side note: If you dont eat all of your meat there is an additional charge. Staff is kind and service is fast. This place stays busy, so if additional parking is needed there is some in the back. Bathrooms on premises.

The steamed egg is a good size portion, service sometimes is kinda slow just because the same people that own it also are the servers.

Its good food dont get me wrong and good portions but tye price and change is a bit too pricey. They have changed the menu and way they do things. Its not a all you can eat price anymore at least thats my understanding its per plate of meat and so on. Thats discouraging seeing as its one of the better places thats close to us. What was normally like 60ish for two people cost me and my friend 90ish or so with tip. May have to find another place ar this price sadly. Thank you for good food and nice service over the years.
