The Veg Dum Biryani was really really good, very tasty. I was going to give 5 stars, atleast for the Biryani, but I also ordered Veg Hakka Noodles and that was very very bland, no taste of spicyness or even salt.To make it worse, i kept some noodles in the fridge overnight and next day morning noodles had turned white and blue spots which now makes me question even the other food that they sell! Very bad experience.

Must try Hyderabadi Paneer Dum Biryani!!It is the best so far I have tried in bay area.Veg Dum Biryani is great too.I have been ordering Biryanis from this place since more than 4 years now.They have consistently kept the taste better than rest of the Biryani places around.You can select you spicy level too, unlike other places where they either make it too spicy or blunt.The owner is super kind and very down to earth person. He knows how to keep customers happy.

I hosted a Diwali party for 30 people, and the restaurants catering service was exceptional. The biryani, samosas, and gulab jamuns were delicious. The managers assistance and flexibility added to the positive experience, and the pricing was reasonable. Highly recommended for any event!

Had a great biriyani after such a long time! They were generous on the meat and not the masala which is very hard to find and yet had the right flavor! We loved the butter chicken too and my kids served themselves which was a rare phenomenon too! Glad we came across this place.

From out of town and enjoy Indian food so was on the hunt for a good place. Found this one on Google so went to try. Front door was made of glass and appeared shattered, not a good look but didnt deter us. Went in to order and while reviewing the menu saw something crawling on the floor. That definitely got me out quick. The place looked a bit run down but was willing to dismiss that as the area in its entirety appeared that way. However the host was not friendly at all, I had to ask for menu and surely when the creepy crawler was detected right near my foot, that was a sure indication that this was NOT the eating establishment we were aiming for. No go!

The food is made fresh and served hot making its way home on a to-go order. The biryani and side dishes are packed full of flavor and robust in spices. The spice/heat level can be adjusted to your liking. Ive been to a lot of Indian restaurants in my time, Hyderabad dum biryani is one of the best. Items are absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent.Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Hyderabad dum biryani .The food is delicious😋, the service is excellent, and the prices are reasonable. Very tasty and authentic food. Been coming here for years its the best biryani in the area! Food is worth the price. The flavors are great and complex leaving you wanting more and you can tell the food is made with love. Favorite dishes are spicy veg. biryani, chicken 65, gobi 65, garlic naan, butter roti, tandoori shrimp and tandoori chicken. You can find something for everyone to love. Great mix and balance of flavors, another must try is the hakka noodles and chili shrimp. Overall its very authentic, has efficient customer service and consistently delicious food.

Picked up Manchurian Gobi (fried cauliflower in sauce - def had a kick), butter chicken (also had a mini spice kick), garlic Naan and roti, chicken chow mein (indo-chinese), dal-palak (a bit bland) - theres another location in Fremont! Id say the taste were similar. Pretty good but was a bit surprised at how small some of the portions were. Overall solid.

Vegetarian alert !!The paneer biryani (both paneer and paneer65) are at best mediocre. Id come here if and only if all my other goto places are closed. Firstly, am treating this as a take out joint. Its not a place where you would want to sit down and eat. Now when it comes to food, the two dishes that I tried, Fish Apollo (I still dont know why its named so) and the Chicken Biryani (I asked for spicy), it was good, flavorful but it doesnt wow you. The biryani for instance, if you take the 3 key components, 1 )The rice - was cooked impeccably 2) The meat - certainly spicy and while it did have some flavor, it was more spicy than flavorful, 3) The Raitha - Absolutely water-ish. Would I have the biryani, sure but would avoid the Raitha.

We have always ordered and picked up from HD biriyani, Milpitas. Our regular Items ordered are Egg Biriyani, Chicken 65, Bagara Baingan, Malai Kofta and Garlic Naan. All super spicy level. Ordered a few times here right before lunch time for 12+ people, and food is always ready on time! Chicken 65 and mutton biryani are my favorite, both are packed with flavor😋. The mutton makes the biryani extra tasty and the chicken 65 is not too spicy. Chili chicken is also very tasty but definitely on the spicy side. If youre looking for some veggie dishes highly recommend the aloo gobi (cauliflower+potato in savory spices) and the Palak paneer (paneer in pureed spinach sauce) is good if you want something less spiced/with a milder taste.

Handsome server greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in, was incredibly friendly, and very considerate of our needs! My partner and I are both very white presenting, and he graciously asked if we were sure that we actually wanted our food extra spicy. I am a great fan of good biryani and bbq. This place is worth a shot. I ordered ghee mutton biryani along with mixed chicken tikka kabab. I haven’t had this good of a biryani in a long time. I had ordered double masala and was charged $1 extra for it. But still biryani is dry and has less dum. Also they didn’t give mirchi ka salan gravy. They offer biryani in two type of serving size containers. Their regular size container is smaller than every other restaurants. Will not order again. Going to this place for a while and one of the dish i want to highlight is goat haleem as this isnt available at most of the places and if it is it isnt that good. Biryani is awesome, nice flavor, heat, and spice level. I ordered kadhai chicken, and the tomatoes were a bit undercooked, but the chicken was soft and tasty. Breads are decent. Most orders here seemed to be for takeout or delivery. There are 3 total tables of 3 people in the restaurant if you like to eat there, not much crowd though. There is a restroom in the back as well.

The food is good but not worth the repeatedly awful experience with ordering. You show up at the restaurant with the whole place empty and you have to remind them about your order multiple times before getting any food. The confirmation will tell you that your order will be ready in 25 minutes but thats a lie, it will always be at least one hour or more.

Small great place in Milpitas that is best for takeout.It’s my go-to Indian food spot in the area, I order from here at least twice a month and it is always five stars. Love the Butter Chicken or if you’re vegetarian the Chana Masala and Dal Palak are great options. Veggie biryani was good, not the best i have had but one of the better ones I have eaten recently. Just right amount of heat for me, I dont like it so spicy that I cant taste the food. Masala/ground spices used were not overpowering either, that is usually my main issue with biryanis in general, so i was pleased with that.What was an unexpected surprise to me is Malai Kofta. My mom is pretty particular about food and she even commented it was delicious. Kofta had perfect texture, and gravy was creamy but not so rich that it was off putting. Just right amount of sweetness and tanginess for our liking.Definitely plan to try some non biryani items on the menu next time. Price and portions are reasonable as well. Looking forward to enjoying the leftovers later in the week.

Amazing Biryani, the spices are on point and the taste is pretty authentic. Id recommend it as a take-out place because it is pretty tiny and the ambiance isnt that great to dine-in. They have no track or clue about where the order came from. And keep folks waiting for more than 90 mins for a biryani. Avoid Friday evening. Often order gets lost due to large volume.Quality wise, Poor. I’m getting dry biryani for past few months. Even for a dry biryani, flavors were missing. Chicken was dry too. We had food catered from Hyderabad Dum Biriyani for a party of ~120 people and all our guests loved the food. I had received so many compliments for the food and a lot of my friends asked for the contact. I live in Pleasanton but I ordered food from this restaurant in Milpitas because of a recommendation from a friend and it turned out great. I mostly went with Madhus recommendations on the items and portions and everything was a delicious(including pan). He also arranged the food delivery so it was one less thing to worry about on the day of the event.

It was our first time here, its a small place with 3-4 tables. The staff was friendly. We ordered the mutton biryani and butter chicken. For people who enjoy spicy food this place is really great! The mutton was soft and flavorful. I really like the butter chicken though it was more spicy than ones Ive had. The chicken was really tender (which most other places used lean chicken so the chicken was dry) -- and the sauce was super creamy. Oh and the mango lassi was great too -- more tangy than sweet mango flavor. Will definitely come back.

After the first time I came here, I couldnt stop coming. I come here almost every weekend. The food here is great. It has a good spice level and has a decent amount of masala. Not too much masala and not too less. Everything here is extremely flavorful. I can eat meat, but I tried their Gobi 65 and now I am in love with it. I order it every time I come here. If you can eat non-veg foods, I would recommend the Chicken 65/Gobi 65, a Garlic Naan, and the Hyderabadi Mutton Curry. The only con about this place in my opinion is the amount of seating. There are only 6 tables inside and 2 tables outside. Usually these are filled up and you need to wait a few minutes if you want a table inside.

This place is a great find! I tagged along with my non- vegetarian friends ( I am a vegetarian 😊) to this place since this is their favorite go-to places. To my surprise, this restaurant holds some of the yummiest veg items as well. Their garlic naans were the softest, their Makai koafta was too good, right amount of spices, one of the best that I had eaten in a long time ( usually at other places, either the curry is too sweet or bland). I frequent this place for their awesome biriyani at a very reasonable price. Both chicken and mutton biriyanis are great and tasty. Its a small place and seating for 15-20 people total. Hence most of their customers pick up their order. You can order on yelp/grubhub or order over phone and the order will be ready in 15 Mins. I have never got a busy tone whenever I called. This is one of the restaurants I would like to revisit anytime, they have good appetizers, chilli chicken and Hariyali chicken were best. We ordered food for our girls day out and we really enjoyed food. I have had the mutton dum biryani from this restaurant twice in toast 2 weeks it is so addictive. You can easily get 2 hearty servings from just one order of dum biryani. If you love spicy this is the place to go. The garlic naan & plan naan are good.

The chicken and mutton dum biryanis taste sooooo good! Not so dry and fill of flavors. The chicken one had huge chicken pieces and the chicken wasnt dry and the mutton was cooked properly and was full of flavor.

3/8: I just took 2 Hyd Chicken dum biryani and they tasted more like flavoured/coloured rice rather than biryani. Usually for Hyd Dum Biryani, this is the restaurant I turned to for the past 2 yrs . Most of the times its good, but unfortunately some times I believe they simply cook rice seperately and then mix with Chicken and provide. These days I really hv to think twice to come here... Hope you guys realize this and correct it...

One of the best Indian food compared to many indian restaurants, the chicken and goat biriyani’s were excellent, and appetizers are always mouth watering, very impressive staff service they don’t hesitate to deliver the food to your car if we’re waiting outside. I strongly recommend this restaurant who is missing real indian flavors.

Had a bunch for things. Paneer, fish and cauliflower starters. All of them very very salty for some reason.Same with buttermilk. I ordered salted lassi(buttermilk) which was unbearably salty. So much so that I had to return it. The mango lassi was also not good, ended up wasting half of it.The only reason for 3 stars is the biriyani. It was edible, meaning not salty and worked as a saving grace. Would not recommend this necessarily, but maybe one time visit.

Spice, spice and only spice!! I love the taste of all dishes here.. Its a very small joint so it will not accommodate larger groups but one of the best places for carry out food in Milpitas. Biryani is great and comes in good quantity (good for 2 to 3 people). Try chettinad chicken, mutton sukka and if you are veggie then try Malai Kofta!

We ordered mutton biryani, bullet naan, Hariyali chicken and paneer tikka masala from this place, all the dishes were fresh and bursting with flavor. The biryani speaks for itself, very succulent and tender pieces of meat, just like how we get it, back home in Hyderabad.Well come back for more :-)

Went around 2:30 today to pick up chicken biryani...came home and found it was cold and chicken was super dry at the bottom. The most interesting part is that they gave me two yogurt sides (always one yogurt side before this experience)....knowing it was going to be cold and dry....wow amazing....i was actually liking this place for a while

Awesome place for quality non veg options. Must try the mutton sukka with roti. Chicken biryani is not bad either. If you want spicy meat cooked in authentic Indian style, you can give this place a try. Would have given 5 stars if spicy standard is maintained.

Tried the Mutton Biriyani, Hariyali Kebab, Apollo Fish and Chilli Shrimp. Friendly staff, good service and the food was simply amazing! Biriyani was one of the best that I have tasted in the US. Must try if you are in the Bay Area.

Ive only tried their biryanis and as far as I know they serve one of the best mutton biryanis in the bay area. The mutton is good and taste is consistent. Unfortunately, cant say the same about the chicken biryani -- I tried once and decided I will stick with mutton.

Edited - felt very gassy for the whole day after the biryani. Curry seemed good though. Go to pista house or paradise or BiryaniZ for the biryani and come here for the chicken curry maybe.------------------------The food is yum. More of a take out place than a dine in place.

They have the best dum biriyani and malai kofta is so uniquely awesome. Our goto take out place.5 starta for these two dishes only. Rest of the vegetarian menu is quite average.
