We went there for the first time. Since it was Saturday lunch, the price was the same as dinner time. Food was tasty and the staff were nice. We ate a lot. I’m not sure why the floor was slippery. (For the robot?) You can find the signs that tell to be careful. We will go back again though.

We absolutely adored this place! Both my wife and I had an incredible experience. The owner of the establishment was a true gentleman, conducting himself in a highly professional manner. Moreover, Ceyhan and Stella provided excellent service throughout our visit. The food served was delicious, and the prices were quite reasonable. Overall, we had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Good amount of fresh options. The grilling is easy to do and they can clean the top off for you whenever you’d like. Has halal and vegetable options. Taste is immaculate and pretty good price if you can eat a lot. 2 hour time limit to finish your food. Had Cajun chicken, bulgogi, garlic chicken, coke, brisket, chuck steak, white rice, veggies.

Decent all you can eat Korean BBQ with a pretty good selection of different cuts of beef, pork and seafood. Kids above 50 inches are considered as adults therefore a bit pricey to bring kids. Overall portions are big, very filling.

This was the first time our family came to this Korean BBQ restaurant and it was great. We tried the briskets, beef rib, teriyaki chicken, beef belly, and spicy thin beef, all of which were flavorful and exactly what you’d expect at a good Korean BBQ restaurant.I thought the price was a steal in comparison to other locations. Granted we came for lunch, so maybe the prices differ for dinner. Regardless, the food and service were top notch. I’ll definitely come here again.

The word I have for this place is “mid”. It’s not bad, but it’s not good either. The meats were tough… no real prep work on them and not a good grade of meat. The sauces were meh. The sides were meh. The steamed egg and tofu soup were very salty. The cheese corn was sour. The restaurant was so cold that we had to wear our jackets, and so did most everyone else in there.Overall, it was sub standard. I would not go there again. Why are these places getting such higher reviews on Google than Yelp? I don’t get it. I guess I have to go back to believing the Yelp reviews.

I Can Barbecue Korean Grill in Irvine is an absolute gem.My recent visit was a delightful experience. The staff couldnt have been friendlier, and their meat recommendations were spot on. We kicked off our meal with the Brisket and Sliced Beef, which were incredibly flavorful. The Garlic Chicken was a mouthwatering delight.But the real star of the show was the Spicy Beef Shoulder Meat, a servers recommendation that left us in culinary ecstasy. The flavors were out of this world! The interactive self-cook-and-eat concept added an extra layer of enjoyment.I cant recommend this place enough, and Ill definitely be returning. Its a hidden haven for those seeking top-quality Halal food. Be sure to ask for the Halal menu; theres a convenient QR code for it.

Great Korean bbq!!! Wow big selection of different cuts and marinates for $32.99 . We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the meats. Generous portions and very quick attentive service! All the little sides were good as well.The only thing I personally didnt like is the quality of chop sticks, very cheap kinds. Other than that amazing food!!! I highly recommend trying this place. Would absolutely come back.They also have a lunch menu and halal menu.

Tustin location is much nicer and cleaner. Floors were really slippery from the grease. Bathrooms and overall inside upkeep didn’t look very Irvine like. Felt more like a fast food joint rather than a decent lunch/dinner location. Scan to pay QE code on the receipt wouldn’t work…

Loved it! Food was delicious, staff was courteous, great atmosphere. A complete different experience compared to most other restaurants, you cook your meats. And, its all you can eat, it would feel a bit expensive if you dont have much of an appetite but otherwise it was an amazing experience.

My visit to the Korean BBQ place was a delightful experience. The sizzling meats on the grill made our mouths water, and the whole table was filled with laughter and chatter. It was like a culinary adventure with friends. The only small hiccup was the service being a bit slow, but it didnt dampen our spirits. Id definitely recommend it for a fun and delicious night out!

This place was awesome! We stuffed ourselves silly! I know it was good because my friend’s wife is Korean and he said this was good! They didn’t have lettuce leaves, or seaweed, or hot dogs, but we loved the meat and squid.Thank you… we loved our Korean server… our original server had a very serious look that was not inviting.But other than that, GREAT place! Packed and noisy… but fun environment.Maybe not for young kids.

Saturday afternoon was seated right away, just 3 of us. First tip is dont wear anything nice here. You will leave smelling like a smoked fire pit. But its worth it. They have a special halal menu and right on the table is the QR code to look it up. First time here and kids did all the cooking. The waitress was so kind and wanted us to try one more thing, just to make her happy we ordered it. Steak marinade. Delicious! And she didnt even charge us. Gave it on the house. I thought that was really kind. Fun restaurant for kids, its experience dining. Not a place to go regularly, as my clothes kept the smoky smell all day, so this is a place for one offs and when youre craving halal Korean bbq.

I am from Hawaii and this is my first time trying a Korean BBQ place in CA. I been to many in Hawaii and always had good experience the food and sides is usually always tasty and these places has alot to offer. I would have to say I Can BBQ Korean grill CA is one of the best I have experienced yet.The best thing in my opinion that makes this place different and sets it aside from any other grill your own BBQ place is the fact that they offer Halal meat here. It really makes a huge difference in the taste and tenderness of any meat everything and everything we ordered including all the sides was extra tasty and juicy!Our wait time was 50min but we actually got seated within 10min which was nice the manager was really accommodating and made sure we got to sit down early. I definitely recommend coming here to enjoy a delicious big meal with friends and family. The price was the cheapest I have seen as well was 29.99 per adult all u can eat! They also offer happy hours. We will definitely return here.

We ate at this place on one of the lazy afternoons. I must say that I have never had a server as great as the one we had that day at this place, so was rest of the staff. Food was great, you can also order half trays if you are not sure about your appetite and repeat (all you can eat!). There were sufficient sides to go with the food. They have a 2 hour limit so I would recommend that you should utilize your 2 hours and not rush through it.

I AM SO HAPPY that I found a Korean BBQ place that serves halal meat. I love Korean food and I follow the halal diet so when the meat isnt halal it leaves very few options left.So when I found this place I was super excited. Their all-you-can-eat menu is pretty reasonable and the service is good too..I used to go there when I lived in Irvine and still go there when I visit Irvine. Im not sure why there is so much hype about this place. They give you raw food to cook yourself; some marinated, which is ok and some nonmarinated, which I didnt like. I can barbecue better at home. No special sauces, overall nothing special in terms of food, they are just selling the cooking experience and that too very expensive.

They do serve HALAL beef and chicken, you can order up to 4 dishes per time, start grilling and order more, marinated food is delicious, make sure you go on an empty stomach.The mint lemonade and the ice cream macarons are not included in the price pp for dinner, but worth trying !

A solid Korean Barbecue place. The bulgogi is my go-to meat in any of these restaurants, but any other cut of meat would be just as good. The attention is top-notch. Payment is effective and fast, and even putting in an order for anything is super quick since every server has a handheld computer to help out with all of these tasks. The place is clean, the grills get replaced often and the ambiance is great. I went on a Sunday afternoon (2pm) and I didnt have to wait more than 3 minutes to get seated. Truly a highly recommended option for your Korean Barbecue cravings in Irvine.

The meat was delicious considering that it is a buffet. The sides were better than average. The soup isnt the best but it isnt the worst. The service was exceptionally slow. I am usually a little lenient toward saying this but the service was really really slow and for that reason I dropped it a star. I mean we asked for a second helping of sides like the kimchee and it literally came at the very end after all the meat was gone.

My daughter wanted Korean BBQ for her birthday dinner and we were in the area and wanted to try out this all you can eat place. Whats unique about this place is its halal so were seeing more of our Muslim friends dining here and its great to see the diversity at this establishment.Service is great even though they were busy and staff was focusing on a part of 14 they managed to keep our protein treat delivery constant.First the banchan, amazing simply amazing. Kimchi: cucumber, cabbage and an assortment of pickled radish and bean sprouts as well as fish patties for our appetite ready for the meats.Great place and the meats and seafood seem really freshly, well definitely give this place another visit in the near future.

It was first Korean BBQ experience since we only eat Halal meat and was very impressed with the meat quality and services. We make reservations using the Yelp app and it say 60 mins for 9’pm appointment. We came at 8:45 pm to check and after short wait, we get seated and asked for Halal menu. It has limited option compared no halal and a little more expensive but worth it. We selected the meat and sides and it was quick. Our waitress also help us BBQ since we are so clueless. We will back again for sure and good to dine with friends and they close late at midnight.

Hello, don’t go this this place on October 11,2023 I came here during the day time on weekday we were party of 5 3 adult and 2 children. Don’t come here if you have kids they pay as adult about $39.00 to $40.00 around there. Don’t come to this place. They sit us in the worst place with no vent for the smoke to go to. They have no ventilation on the middle booth. Every we’re els around the restaurant they do have ventilation but if you are dark skin or religious like Muslim they will sit you here. The treatment is the worst. They never give you the drinks and the meats not fresh you can see the freezer burnt on the meats. Also the kitchen had newspaper on the floor. The floor is so slippery and no sign on site of this so my son felt on the ground and we got looked at. Don’t come here this place is the worst. You guys can go to other in Irvine. We were seated quickly, the food was good. However the meat we were ordering took twenty minutes to get to our table and on top of that our server was nowhere to be found for long periods of time. We were sitting there so hungry 😭. By the time the food came to our table, the grill was burnt because of the sauce from the meats before and we were sitting there five to ten minutes with out food. Then we had to wait five more minutes for the grill to be changed. They should have tablets at the tables so that people can just order whenever they need too. I’ve been here many times and it’s always hard to flag someone down to order meats.

Everything was so delicious! 😋 The only thing was the floor was slippery from the grease... probably from the change out of the grill... definitely should do something about it, otherwise it might be an accident waiting to happen. This is my new favorite all you can eat KBBQ!You got 2 hours limit to finish all the meat you can order. It’s $26.99 for dinner, a little bit pricey. But they have really good and fast service! I found the food at this location to be delicious, but I have to take away a star for the service. At this restaurant, youre given two hours to eat all that you can. You order, the server brings you the dishes raw, and you cook them on the hot plate in the center of the table. So, it is a pretty common Korean Barbecue experience in that regard. However, after a little while it seemed that the servers just avoided coming back to the table entirely. There werent many customers in the restaurant while we were there as we were there during non-peak hours. We definitely had all we could eat anyway, but we just got the feeling that they didnt care that we were there. Other than that, the experience seemed to go well. So, hopefully you get better servers than we did.

Nope! Never again... I made a reservation, showed up 1 minute early, then waited 30 minutes for my pre reserved party of 6 to be seated. The hostess kept telling me we were next then seated 6 parties ahead of us... We were set at a booth for 4 people and I was sat on the end with the burner nob by my balls! (picture included). Our side dish was dropped on the burner and scooped back into the dish and re-served to us (no $#!t).If you like being lied to about the wait time & when youll be seated, cramped spaces and served dropped food this is your spot. Ive always wanted to try Korean BBQ and Im so glad to finally find a place that offers an authentic Halal Korean BBQ experience! This place did not disappoint. For the Halal visitors, make sure to try the bulgogi and spicy chadol. It was fun to cook the meat yourself and try out all the different sides and spices. Tried this place because I had never had Korean BBQ. Found out that they have a separate halal me u so I decided to give it a try. Definitely dont regret it. My favorite was the marinated short ribs. Its a little pricey at around $30 per person but where else would you find authentic halal Korean BBQ? All in all it was a good experience. Staff was courteous and helpful. The food and the atmosphere were good, however regardless of how many are in your party, the amount of meat product is the same per order and you are forced to eat all that was brought to you. This would stop you from trying different selections since you tend ti get full with the first order, or youd get charged extra if you dont finish what you have in front of you.The amount of what is served should be in proportion with the number of people in each party so that youd be able to try more of whats on the menue.

This used to be my favorite KBBQ reataurant, but now I will be taking my business elsewhere.I have been a regular at I Can for the past 2 years now. Good quality meat and good quality service up until my last 4-5 visits which have gone downhill in terms of service. This last visit was the last straw, and I will not be returning.Our server would ignore my requests, blatantly tell me I cant order now, and then she would not return. Once my party finally placed an order with a different server, we would get the wrong meat orders on multiple occasions. Orders were forgotten, we could not get water for lengthy periods of time, and staff members were rude. I asked if I have to make reservations on my phone the male voice said no reservation needed and they would do a little something for her birthday to help celebrate it. I spoke to the manager and he said they DO NOT do anything for someone’s birthday! I said I spoke to someone already, he apologized and I was disappointed. The service was Very Bad!!! It was Hot! I have gone to many crowded and well kept kbbq places. It was a Friday night with an hour wait which was fine and understandable. The moment we were seated, we waited about another 20 minutes for a server to ask us for our first round of meat. We didn’t get our iced waters until 30 minutes later as well. Everything was just waiting during our dining experience. I understand it’s crowded and busy, but that does not mean provide a bad experience for customers who want to eat and leave. The price was not decent at all for the quality of meat and service we received. It was about $45 per person for a party of 6 (includes tax and their 20% addition for service of a large party). I would not recommend this place. There are plenty of other options in Irvine with better prices and service.I had to ask for cheese corn 5 times before we got it :/

Im from Arizona but have friends and family in California, so when I came here to visit I was very thrilled with my experience at I Can. I have exclusively booked a flight from AZ to CA just to have I Can because Phoenix doesnt have halal Korean bbq. The food is amazing here! I Can should highly consider catering to the Muslim community in Phoenix! Monroes Hot Chicken in Tempe didnt initially start off halal, but when they trialed it for the Muslim community they had good business and are now exclusively halal. The recent price increase makes it a little more expensive than some others in this area, but I think its still worth it for what you get.For my fellow Celaics, the servers have always known exactly what is and isnt gluten-free, so its fairly easy to order. Since you cook the meat yourself, you have more control over potential cross-contamination. When my boyfriend wants a marinated dish (ALL the marinades contain soy sauce), we just cook up enough to last me a minute, then let him cook his before asking for a grill change for the next round. The sesame oil and hot sauce are also gluten free.I do have a couple of cautions for everyone though:1) Theres usually a decent wait. Ive gotten in almost right away, and Ive waited an hour for a table for 3. Usually I plan for 30-40 minutes. We tend to go at popular times though.2) They are SERIOUS about their two hour limit. Had to write a review for this location because I just recently wrote one of their Santa Ana location. We came here because the waitlist wasn’t terribly long and they were willing to set a reservation for our party of 7. This place is a bit pricier than other locations but $26 per person still isn’t terrible.When we got to the restaurant, it was fairly empty. So much so that I think we could have honestly just walked in and we would have been completely fine without a reservation.I was a bit disappointed that our table was a round table with one grill for 7 people. Though they did constantly change the grill for us, I can only imagine how frustrating and cumbersome this can be if perhaps it was truly busy. The restaurant let us order 3 meats at a time and if your table is particularly tight then they’ll have a tray on the side next to you.Compared to its newer location in Santa Ana, this place was far slower but we did also come on a Thursday evening. The main reason why I dropped a star for them was because when we were seated we had asked to be moved to a different table that had two grills but they said they reserved it for a different party. However, when said party got there the party size was exactly the same. Felt like it was just a blatant lie to fill up the table so I was not enthused by that.

We have taken many friends and family here as our go to spot for KBBQ. The ventilation system is state of the art and you never leave smelling like a grill. Everything is good and we highly recommend the beef belly, marinated Beef belly short rib, thin sliced pork belly, spicy pork butt, muscles, calamari, and cinnamon punch! ICB is my favorite AYCE KBBQ franchise in Orange County. The service is quick, the meats are delicious, and the price is not bad.Personally, I prefer the Santa Ana location. The Irvine location is close to my residence and it’s a great dinner spot for a group.

Nice, Lots of meat options, but... Dont dare over order. Their policy helps to ensure you dont over order. Any left over orders will be charged to you, I believe as much if an extra person ordered-- not cheap. Its a great policy!! Overindulgence and waste is shameful, and this policy helps reduce that-- here at least ;)This is not for vegetarians!!

Worst experience for $100 bucks. Would prefer fine dine restaurants. All they provide is raw meat. Better get some meat from Costco and grill at home. Would taste much better.Service was bad. Table was not clean. Plates were wet and oily. Scissors were dirty. Water glass were heavily used and looked dirty. Ambience wise it was dark and dull.Only thing I would recommend is ice cream which was good and costed around $4.Would suggest them to add few more flavors to it atleast!

Great Korean BBQ! Clean place, great, attentive service. Changed our grill before we even knew it needed it! We had two or three servers always checking on us, never had an empty plate. The food is fresh and selection is remarkable! A great place to spend a fun evening out, and definitely endless amounts of good, healthy entrees, fun to cook in a group, but if you need a little help the staff are wonderful to help you and get your food on your plates! This is definitely a must for any FOODIES. A fun group meal adventure. We drove an hour and a half to eat there and definitely plan to return.

This spot use to be my absolute favorite. It USED to have great service, great food and short wait times. I’m not sure what happened, but I think a slight change in management really screwed the place up. Randomly, they change the meat and the spices they use. Some waiters have blatantly lied to me when they forget to bring our orders for the entire meal. We also have tried numerous times to call for reservations, but they never NEVER answer their phones. Then! They had the audacity to tell us that we should call ahead and make reservations if we didn’t want a wait time. It’s really unfortunate because myself and others really liked this place for a while. The changes and staff have ruined it. The short lady who runs the place has severely messed it up.

Im from Texas and was excited to try a high rated Korean barbecue place in California! Sadly I think the side dishes and meat quality didnt quite live up to my expectations. Food wasnt bad, but I think there is probably better in the area--there is definely better in Texas. Cannot recommend the bulgogi, its probably the worst Ive had, but actually the rest of the meats were rather good, especially the short rib! Customer service wasnt that responsive, but maybe it is usually less busy?Long and short of it is I wouldnt pick this place (they def need better kimchi!), but wouldnt be unhappy if I ended up here.

SPECIAL NOTE: This restaurant seemed to not be in COVID-19 Compliance (if they were its seems they needed to do more ) We were seated next to a couple less that 6 feet away ( approximately 3 feet away ). It was as if we werent in the midst of a pandemic.---Food Service was good however the quality of meat is pretty basic. Took more than 2 hours to get seated even though I was quoted 30-45 minutes.I was excited for the steamed egg but when I received it, it was burned on the bottom and it was really salty. I ended up just getting 1 serving of whatever we wanted. Didnt stay there long. For the price I feel you can get a better value and variety else where.This KBBQ place is going on the list of those restaurants that you only try once but you would probably never go out of the way to try it again.

We ordered all “marinated” items but nothing tasted marinated, the meat was bland, it wasn’t spiced up at all. Maybe the waiter was messing up our orders, because it looked like we were receiving the wrong things. The Galbi was all fat, it was completely white from the fat which I feel like is unacceptable. The portions are huge, but the downside of that is you can’t keep trying different items on the menu because you get full right away or otherwise you waste a lot of food. The sides were good but the salad came with almost no dressing or flavor. The waiters seemed annoyed that they had to change the grills every now and then. Overall, I have been to better korean bbq places, especially for the price.

I have always wanted to go for a korean bbq experience ever since I saw it on tv shows and movies. After looking up the best places in town for such an experience, I decided ro visit here and it did not dissapoint! An all you can eat menu with pretty fast service made sure I did not stay hungry for long. The food itself was flawless, although some items are more niche and might not be liked by everyone. But regardless, it was fun to try new flavours and go home satisfied. Would definitely recommend this place!

Went on a Thursday night, was surprised to still see a lot of people standing outside of the restaurant, but thankfully we were seated ASAP by whom I believe was the manager of the place. He was most attentive and efficient, compared to the two staff who were hanging out at the front desk doing their own thing without even acknowledging us (didnt even bother to look at us for the few minutes we were awkwardly waiting for one of the hosts to seat us).The two servers at our dining area were highly attentive and efficient like the manager, and were super friendly. I felt a lot better about my experience here then. The servers were very good with refilling our drinks and sauces, taking our orders, and refilling our appetizers (i.e. kimchi, potato salad, etc.). The food was overall delicious, just would strongly suggest not to get the small intestines from here, because the texture was rubbery and stuck to the grill, didnt taste good either. We loved the beef tongue, the short ribs, and the shrimp!On another note, you can only order 4 items at a time, because they charge you extra for any leftovers, cooked and uncooked. All in all, this dining experience was great for a first time, but unfortunately not the first Korean BBQ place I would think of dining at in the future next time I come down to Irvine.

One of the top Korean BBQ in Irvine. However, the quality of food and service go down during peak times. I usually do single order not AYCE since the meat quality is better. They supposedly only slice the meat for the single order when you order it; that’s what the waiter said. Last time I was there I asked for two orders of the single brisket plate and they gave me a plate that is for one order...not very happy with it. Next time I’ll order as I go.Oh and the ventilation is better than most other BBQ joints. You’ll still end up smelling like BBQ, but not so bad that you can’t go walking around after.

Ive had the pleasure of dining here a number of times already as it is walking distance to my apartment. Ive been able to meet one of the owners, and he is a delight. He is completely dedicated to making this restaurant the best that it can be and he has implemented all of the suggestions I have given him within days.The quality of meat is top notch and a great value, especially during lunch when the standard menu only costs $17 for all you can eat. On nights The standard menu runs $25, which seems standard based on other ayce restaurants in the area, but the overall quality here is higher. The premium menu for $40 is available on nights and weekends and is a great splurge as you get all you can eat ribeye, scallops, strip steak, salmon, and more.Every restaurant will have its hiccups as the staff learns the ropes and adjusts, and the staff is learning fast. There have been a few service snafus on my visits, but the thing that impresses me is the dedication to improvement - each time Ive been the service has gotten better.I hope the crew here all the best. This is a quality establishment that provides great food at a good value, and Im glad to already be a regular customer.

This was my first time trying KBBQ and gotta say it was a great experience. They had Zabihah Halal meat so that was great and it was delicious! The waitress Hülya was super helpful and made sure we were satisfied with everything. Will 10/10 come again. Highly recommend this place!
