It was a splendid experience! So many halal meat & chicken options. In past have only tried veggie or seafood Korean options but as they offer halal here so it was a treat for our tummies :)My 7 year old enjoyed here alot because our server was a talking robot bringing our meat n chicken for us.Staff was very courteous and humble and we felt welcomed!Cooking together with the family was quite fun, their sides and pickle choices are really yummy.Do not forget to try their Icecream macaroons, really great flavors and good quality. Will definitely go back.

It was a very cool place. They served us with a robot. We had Korean barbecue and they changed the hot plate a lot. All the meat was good and the salad, too. Great place to spend time with friends. The robot sang happy birthday to one of the guests.

We got seated right away on a Saturday. The side dishes pan chan were great and had a lot of variety. For ayce, $34.99, we got brisket, bulgogi, spicy brisket, squid, pork jowl. As the night got busier, our orders got missed. Part of the orders were missing. It happened to us and the folks next to us. Even the dishes got mixed up. Things that I didn’t like, the bean paste soup. It was literally tasteless and the veggies were still raw. Then I got the tofu soup and it was barely any flavor. We asked for more side dishes from one of the staff, she said yes but never came back. Overall, I’m not sure if I will go here again. There are many other locations to choose from with exceptional service. Meat quality is comparable to other locations. But having to remind the staff about our orders and what happened, there were no explanations. It feels like the staff were overwhelmed and couldn’t handle the Saturday night crowd.

Best halal Korean BBQ that I ever had. We drove all the way from Long Beach to the restaurant, and it was worth it! The service was also great! Mahmut was very attentive, friendly and made sure we always had water, enough sauces. They also consistently changed our grills to make sure it was clean. They also have a robot that brings the food, its a great addition. I recommend and well be back for sure.

This was my first time here and I loved it! Atmosphere was clean and modern. The meats were marinated to perfection, and the side dishes were just right. At other kbbq places I’ve noticed the service is spotty, but here all of the servers were checking in, changing out the pans, asking what other orders we wanted, really attending to us, and were extremely kind and thoughtful. For my fellow Muslims, yes it’s all halal! Shout to one of the servers, Mahmut, for giving us a prayer rug when he saw us praying after our meal in the restaurant. This was all around an excellent experience, I will definitely be recommending this place to people I know and will be coming back!

Great service! the waiter constantly changing the grill for us. Love the pork belly options here. My favorite is the cinnamon punch. It was the highlights of the entire meal. The drink comes with the all you can eat meal and it is so refreshing.

Meat was great! I usually go to the korean BBQ in Irvine but I decided to try this place and it was great. When you walk in you can tell its new by its design. And its less busy than Irvine so there was no wait line on a Saturday!! My waiter Memet was sweet and friendly. The service was great as well as the food. Would recommend this place overall 👍

Good food, as always. The AYCE menu is now streamlined through a webtool, which automates ordering without having to interact with a waiter. Their delivery service is also automated with a robot delivery server. The system took some getting used to and you dont get much by way of customization anymore.There were less real people helping around so while the food was quick, the appetizers and refills were a bit slower.Overall, it was a good experience, though it made me wonder why they were still adding an option to tip.

I came in with my friends to celebrate a birthday and this restaurant was so lovely! The food was super yummy and we all liked the sides included!The service was great -- everyone was very kind and polite. Our server, Mahmut, sat us and was very attentive throughout our meal!I also liked how it was cool inside and how the seating was very spacious so the atmosphere didnt feel crowded! Sometimes barbeque restaurants tend to feel stuffy and humid (especially in the summer) but this place didnt feel like that at all :)

I don’t often leave reviews but this place was worth mentioning unfortunately.Good: fast service and grill replacement service top notch, one of the best.Bad: quality of the marinades and the Korean stews totally miss the marks. Not even remotely close to the true flavors for the soybean stew and kimchi stew even compared with other ayce places. Very watered down and lacking depth.Neutral: not commenting on the meats since that is in line with other ayce places.Overall this place is fine for those looking to maximize the intake of Korean bbq not too familiar with the taste of the Korean soups and offerings.

We stayed over the area for the weekend and was craving Korean BBQ. I thought we’d give it a try as it had good reviews and was not too far from our hotel. All the meat that we tried was quality and even my 3 picky kids had their preferences of meat they ordered seconds of. The place was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful! The icing on the cake for my kiddos was that they had a little robot that would bring the meat out to all the tables, which was really cool! Definitely would recommend this place if ever in the area!

It just opened up and it clearly has the potential to be here for a long time. Just know that this place is quite pricey. The dinner menu is $26 a person and, as is standard for most places, there is an 18% gratuity fee for parties 6 or larger.But down to the meat of the place, its delicious. Their ribs come boneless and are the best ribs Ive ever had at any kbbq place.Evey other meat is also satisfactory but I would recommend skipping the garlic chicken and the small intestine.Also, it was kinda slow when we went in and the server offered to place and cut our meat for us. So customer service is a 10/10.Definitely recommend this place.

We have eaten Korean BBQ at a lot of different places, this one had a good selection and some items we hadnt seen before. The meat quality was good, the sides were good, the service was good. The portions were big per serving compared to some places, it ended up being a little much for 2 people but we asked for it.. the spicy pork was good but it had more of a red pepper spice than a traditional gochujang flavor, but it was good in the pork butt option. The bulgogi was amazing, the marinade was delicious. The spicy thin sliced beef honestly tasted like beef jerky 2hich was ok for one bite but too much wasnt so pleasant. The cajun seasoned chicken was great we hadnt had that at any other KBB place. Glad we came here, definitely left full, would come back if we wanted KBB again and were in the area!

Ordered from this place in Santa Ana, then went to go see where the food was being made . They literally operate out of an old meth lab in Santa Ana on Main Street. They still have the condemned building sighs on the side of the building . I would not eat the food who knows what’s left in that building .

This was my first visit to their new location. We loved the grill concept at the bar. You can order drinks and grill the delicious food at the same time. Super friendly staff and very high quality food items. Majority of the red meat are prime cuts. Definetly worth checking this new place.

My friends and I called the restaurant at 7pm on a Friday night because we couldn’t check in via the Yelp waitlist due to our party size being over 6. They were able to quote us for 8pm so they took our name and number down and told us to simply check in when we arrived. We had previously been to the Irvine location where we were similarly able to reserve our table, so it was very convenient to have experienced the same here.Things I liked about the restaurant:- Yelp waitlist- Ability to reserve a table for a party size of 7+ with accurate seating time- 3 meats per grill- Fast and constant service- Consistent grill changes- Great beer options- Happy hour from 9pm to closing- Plenty of seating for large partiesOur favorite meats included:- the ever so popular beef brisket- bulgogi- marinated top sirloin steak- marinated short ribs (bone in/out both equally delicious with the bone out being thicker in cut)- beef tongue- pork belly- steamed eggDinner pricing per time of writing this review was $25.99 per person. We also ordered a 100oz monster tower of Modelo that cost $35. Perfect for sharing and the glassware is also smaller to help make that beer last a little bit longer!The parking structure behind the restaurant is 2 hours of complimentary parking with the next 30 minutes at $0.75. They do NOT have validation here so be mindful of your time! Super important: the cops do not play around with the meters. My friend received a ticket for not completely paying for the cost of their time and received one. Do not make this mistake and just park in the structure. It really isn’t that far away.Overall, this was a great experience and we do plan to come back here in the future.

Awesome meats that you get to cook yourself! The favors of everything is amazing and every bit is hot off the grill. I would say this is more of a group outing then a date night with someone you are trying to have a conversation with as it was really noisy. Between the loud music and the grill you are really having to listen hard. But over all it was awesome and would go back.

Food and meat is amazing, though pricy. Definitely recommend the dinner for the wider variety of options. Service was just a little bit lacking the times Ive been here, but overall the place is great. My last visit here, waitress was nice and courteous, another employee was great in his frequency of replacing the grill plate, but the last guy who looked like he may be a supervisor was the only one that I wasnt a fan of service wise. Although its all you can eat, if you order and leave too much uncooked or cooked meat, they apparently charge you, but Ive never had an issue with leftover meat, so Im not sure what their threshold for this is.

I & my family dine in here after waiting for 45 minutes. It was very crowded & waiting outside. Excellent experience. The manager was very nice person & the waiters & waitresses are always there when you needed. Nice atmosphere & everyone were busy to get ready there live barbecue the way you want your food. Very fresh Beef stakes & Chicken without marinade as much you can eat with affordable prices.The location is not an ideal for the family & small kids. Its not safe area specially in the night.Over all it was an excellent experience.

Cannot complain about experience except for fact I wish water was more readily available to ease all the food I had been consuming.Good experience. Available wine and beer beverages which is cool because others Ive been to didnt seem to have much of that to offer.If famished and have funds to spend some money per person, check em out. If youre not that hungry, dont come here - simply be ready to eat at all you can eat, otherwise it isnt worth the $$.

We had a reservation and got seated. They seemed professional at first. Got in our orders within a reasonable 20 minutes. We came hungry expecting a really good experience because of the other review. I probably counted about 8-9 servers however our server pretty much never checked up on us and when we finally did get her attention it took forever. We waited so long our grill burned not once but a total of 4 times. We never got our drink refills and waited while trying to flag down our server or anyone who turn our way. We waited 45 minutes after our first order and any intervals in-between those orders coming out. When we asked for the bill we waited another 20 minutes before getting checked out by another server.On the bright side to all of this the decor was pretty neat.. we got to enjoy it while waiting for so long.If I can offer any tips to any future diner. Dont come hungry after a days of work and ask to be seated near the busier areas of the shop so you can actually get serviced. Also dont forget to ask your server for their name because they do not tell you. Thank you for this wonderful experience we will not be coming back

I usually go to GEN BBQ but the wait was crazy long. So we decided to try out this place last minute. We were seated right away, and I have to say the service was amazing! Out server was constantly at our service (without being annoying) and working extra hard. The food was great and happy hour was worth it (they have late night from 9 to closing). Let’s start off by saying I’m an LA County resident therefore reason for me being here is because everything is closed in la county to dine in to. I arrived at 7:45 was told to put my name on the list which I did. The hostess asked me for how many (2) and my number. He said the wait was about an hour maybe a little more I said that’s fine. It’s now getting colder and colder and it’s looking emptier and emptier. I went inside to use the restroom there were about 4 tables available to be seated in and no one was being taken there. When I return from the restroom I asked where I was on the list. He said we are now second, mind you there are tables available at this point. Guess what time it was now? 9:00 pm YES 9 and he just kept staring at me I’m sure because he knew I was fuming. I wasn’t even hungry anymore at this point. I know this man skipped my name on the list many times because there were parties seated before me that were there about an hour after me. How far is that? Should I pull the racial card? I really didn’t want too. This place also charged $30 per person and the place was dirty! I’m sorry but I do look at that a lot.Now, let’s start with service mind you we have been there now since 7:45 and it is now 9:30 and we have been seated but no food brought to us yet. There was a couple that hadn’t been seated when we were seated and when I looked over they were seated and already enjoying their food. At this point I can’t even eat I can’t even enjoy my food I literally just wanted to get something in my system. All I was thinking was “ I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN”.

This place was so chaotic. Management needs to step it up. They take your name down of a piece of paper and make up a random wait time. A guy confronted them that we was going to be seated in 30 minutes and MORE THAN an hour passed by. Many groups talked with the host to see their place in line and the host misplaced the paper that had the list of guest in order. We called to see if we could make reservations and they said no they dont do that there but when we got there, THEY WERE CALLING OUT RESERVATIONS. They dont wash their cups correctly because I had some white film in my drink. They gave us the wrong check. Tried to charge us for 12 people when we were a group of 7. If you have a lot of time to waste, patience, and can deal with poor management, this is the place for you.

This was my first kbbq experience and the food was delicious. Unfortunately the service was not. We were left waiting at the front door for 10 mins before being greeted, once we were greated we werent told anything about a table and waited another 15 minutes for a table. I felt rushed through the whole ordering process when I was just trying to figure out how it worked. We needed more napkins and I tried to get the attention of 3 workers and was all dismissed by them. One of the girls I tried to flag down I made eye contact with three times and raised my hand and she brushed me off. I then asked a server and she rudely brushed me off. I then tried to flag down yet another server to be completely ignored. Maybe they were to busy to deal with the rush but it seemed like there was no order to serving tables or communication going on between all of them. I want to say I enjoyed my experience but I have never been to a restaurant where customers were treated like this.

Wanted to try this location since I loooove the Irvine location and its a tad bit far from me. Came in and it was empty on a Saturday at 2 pm. Considering there was a bit of life in the downtown area due to the ongoing event. At first the meat was good but then got the top blade and not only did it smell funny, it was dry. Got two different pork bellies (regular and the cilantro marinade). Both were very dry and the cilantro marinade smelled funny. Service was really slow and the older Korean lady who served us didnt seem to want to be there. She tried halfway through the meal to be more uplifting. The two younger gals that checked up on my friend and I were more cheerful. All in all, would rather drive to their Irvine location.

My mom and i were hungry so we googled places to eat near us i saw this restaurant and thought what a neat idea so we went. We were definitely not disappointed I loved the food and the experience what was so cool is you cook you food at your table the server stayed up on drinks and meat selections there was very little delay in order to the meat arriving. The only down side is there is a 2 hour time limit that you are held to but i was beyond full before the time limit applied.

This place has a lunch menu price posted on the wall and codes to scan it with your phone that they leave on tables. However, they have fine print (written sideways) on it to scam you into believing you will be paying the lunch cost when in the fine print it’s “dinner all day on Saturday and Sunday”. This way, they get to charge you almost double the price. I spoke with the manager about this and she refused to refund my meal or the cost difference. I would not recommend this place to anyone because of their scummy and sketchy business practices. Steer clear and go to somewhere that actually respects their customers.

Food was fine, meat was of decent quality. Banchan was tasty enough. That said, service left a bit to be desired. Had to ask 4 times for a refill on one of the side dishes. Drinks were difficult to get refilled and came back without ice. The waiters would sporadically and aggressively take over the grill...clumsily shoving the food around and cutting it up without asking. We felt like we were inconveniencing the waiter by requesting refills. Its a shame because the food was high quality, and the guy I perceived to be a manager or the owner was nice enough and seemed to care about whether we enjoyed ourselves...it was just unfortunate that his staff was so apathetic.

We usually go to the ICB in irvine, however last night I decided to take my sales guys to the I can bbq in santa ana since it was closer to our office. the food was great and the service even better. Hatice was great and although we ordered a lot of food and lot of chamisul, and constantly ordered and kept her super busy she always paid attention to our table and was very nice. great service. she deserves a raise! from one business owner to another. good sharp customer service is very important and should be rewarded!

I was really excited about visiting this restaurant after hearing the experience my sister in law had at the Irvine location. I showed up and was pretty slow so we were seated fairly quickly. We were a party of 8. Our serve forgot two drink we had ordered, had addes a beer we didnt order but then corrected the mistake. We had ordered two egg soups that we didnt get until we were 3/4 of the way done with our meal. We had to constantly ask for the soups and we had probably four to five different interactions with with all different servers after we finally got our soups. The meats were very bland we had an expectation that it was going to be somewhat like Gen Korean BBQ but we were truly let down. Highlight of our experience was that the light went out on the building but quickly came back. It also helped that I was surrounded by family so we made the best of it. ... It was meh ok.

Best Korean BBQ Ive ever experienced!The food was deliciously with authentic flavors. The rice was fluffy and the brisquet was carved super thin. located in an upscale community.
