The owner, Wendy, is an incredibly kind person, she took good care of our table. The food itself was super tasty, and all the sashimi tasted very fresh. The rolls were also super delicious. I also liked the hot tea that we ordered! It was a very high quality genmai, and we enjoyed many refills. All in all, it was a great experience, and I will be recommending this place to my friends.

This place is definitely underrated at davis, it’s very affordable and tastes amazing. The AYCE is around 30 dollars after tips and taxes per person and servings taste super fresh. I’d definitely recommend the hand rolls and fresh rolls if you’re coming for AYCE.The service can take a while since they make it by hand but that just means that it’s super fresh. The service is pretty good and bathrooms are really clean.I’d definitely recommend if you’re around the area and go here again.

Perfect place to get sushi in the night! Service was attentive and pretty quick even on a quiet night like this. They also have quite the take out business too!The rolls were amazing like the davis roll and especially their golden roll which they deep fry!I cant say the same for the beef teriyaki dinner though... The beef tasted flat and the salad didnt have a nice dressing plus the greens looked like they were on their way out... I do like their rice though! At least the quality matches the price for the first time, probably one of the cheaper sushi places ive tried recently!

All you can eat, I will recommend this choice to whom want to taste different kinds of dishes within one visit. Foods are fresh and tasty.

Ive been to this place dozens of times since its the closest sushi place. The food is good, feesh and tasty.I always feel like the service can do better. Someyimes it feels like It almist they dont understand why you interrupted then and came to eat.

Food, no complaints. Service was on par of what Id expect. What really struck me as odd was roughly 15% gratuity pre added to the bill, (we were a group of 3 not 6 or more where added gratuity is common) THEN the extra gratuity. So a tip to go with your tip. I get the staff utilize tips to supplement their wages. But I think that practice is not straight forward, and you have to pay attention to your bill.

From the moment we arrived, it became apparent that our preferences were disregarded, as we were coerced into the all-you-can-eat option, which we did not want.To begin with, the staff at I ❤️ Sushi seemed more interested in pushing the all-you-can-eat deal rather than addressing our specific desires. We clearly expressed our preference for ordering à la carte, hoping to savor a few select dishes. However, the waitstaff insisted that we would get the best value by opting for the all-you-can-eat option. Feeling somewhat pressured, we did not agree to get the all you can eatAs we started sampling the sushi, we were immediately disappointed by the quality. Not only was the sushi lukewarm, but the fish also seemed less than fresh. The texture was off, and there was an unpleasant fishy odor that permeated each piece. It was evident that the sushi had been sitting out for an extended period, which was utterly unappetizing.Furthermore, the variety of sushi available was quite limited, and the presentation lacked any semblance of artistry. The rolls were haphazardly assembled, and the ingredients seemed hastily slapped together without any attention to detail. It was disheartening to see such a lack of care and craftsmanship in a sushi restaurant.To make matters worse, despite our initial disagreement with the all-you-can-eat option, we were unexpectedly charged for it at the end of our meal. This felt like a deceptive tactic to boost their profits, as we clearly indicated our preference for ordering à la carte. We were left feeling cheated and taken advantage of.The overall experience at I ❤️ Sushi was disappointing, to say the least. My husband and I always have a great time coming here! The food is excellent and the service is amazing as well. Kimmie was our server and was polite, kind, and even gave us complimentary miso soup and chocolate cake for dessert. :) I always have a very positive experience here and would highly recommend for anyone else to come here too. After trying a few different places, this is definitely the best sushi in Davis.
