Place was semi busy for a Thursday. A little wait short staffed but no issues. Food was delicious. The spicy tofu was amazing. Music at a good level. Kids menu a little over priced an unable to sub things around as in switch stuff on the kids menu for other things on the kids menu. It was cheaper to just order an adults plate an share with the kids.

I heard the term “Where’s the Beef”but never “Where’s the Salmon/$11.50 for a phildephia roll and a sliver of salmon is what I found.By the way, the rice is also very important and it is supposed to stay together to allow you to use the chopsticks provided Ended up using a spoon.Don’t waste your sushi experience here cause you are definitely wasting your money.

This is probably the BEST sushi place around Fresno! Ive tried multiple places that serve sushi, but none have ever come close to tasting as good as here! So why the lower rating? The pricing...Every year now the price for every roll has been gradually increasing by quite a chunk. Its gotten to the point where me and my girlfriend can no longer eat here because it has gotten SO expensive. Not New York steak expensive, but just not what it used to be is all.Came here for me and my girls birthday celebration two months ago, had a great time! Today, as we look at the prices, everything went up by almost $2!? Two frickin months ago! Even the cheap classic rolls are over $10 now!?I guess sushi is a luxury now. Go figure. This is a very sad day, very very sad day indeed. You will be missed... until I get a better job! LOL

Yum yum yum! I am a sushi lover and this place gets 5+++. From service to quality of food. The place was packed when I got there, plenty of servers, food was coming out fast and yummy! Order the Samson roll, it will not disappoint!

I really enjoyed their 🍣. 911sayce, sashimi, kids teriyaki etc. It was all really delicious but I felt like the portions were quite small compared to all other sushi places Ive eaten at. Overall its delicious. Ate everything then realized I didnt take a photo lol.

Service was good, but the waitress wasnt fully listening and walked away when I said just a moment. It was a simple misunderstanding, but she didnt come back for a few minutes. The sushi roll I had was delicious, but my sisters order was just alright. Its definitely a place I would recommend to friends, and I will be going back in the future.

Great sushi, good service. Menu could be a bit more informative about the sauces involved on the rolls. Decent pricing. Although I had a roll that was $19, to which I was told that it is much bigger than standard rolls (pretty much double the price) and it really isnt (see photo). Overall great dining experience.

Kinda chose this spot on a whim, because the 2 other places we were looking to try didnt open for 2 more hours. Food was decent at best. Prices were a little on the high end. I am normally a big fan of fresh spicy tuna, but the sushi didnt seem too fresh. Also ordered a chicken Teriyaki plate. Wasnt a big fan of the side noodles on the plate. Wife ordered the Shrimp and Calamari tempura meal, Overpriced less than impressive. Normally bento boxes and / or meals have tempura and veggies. Service was ok. Food took a considerable amount of time to arrive. Nothing groundbreaking probably wouldnt return.

Their lunch specials are really good, I always ask for recommendations so I got the Clovis Mafia roll and a lunch special which were both great. I come to Clovis and Fresno every now and then so Ill definitely be coming back.

The is unacceptable; twice I had mediocre service. We ordered the orange albacore roll and they gave me orange slices and albacore. We order to go and had a day that needed comfort. It is close so I thought I would give it another shot. Boy was I wrong. I would rather travel across town to a decent sushi restaurant than be here again. We only went because kijima was closed. 15 for 3 pieces of albacore and 3 slices of oranges with a oil sauce. Looks nothing like the picture.

The BEST sushi place in Fresno/Clovis. Literally tastes great every time, and after years of going here, even through Covid times, the quality has never wavered. The staff is very helpful, and the service is prompt. Order a Blackjack roll, and tell me it’s not good. Love dining in, and if we want to eat comfy at home calling in a pick up order over the phone is quick and easy. Will always recommend to friends and family.

Great rolls. Went Christmas day. Thanks for being open. Not busy when we got there. I loved my Richard Nixon roll. Other party member liked his roll. Hubby not thrilled with chicken teriyaki. He liked my roll better. Shrimp tempura wasnt caked with breading. Not super crunchy, but I liked it. It was tender and not greasy. Miso soup not hot 😕. I thought prices were fair for sushi. I would come here again. I am originally from Bay area.

Very delicious here. Reason for the 5 star is because this Heat attack sushi is actually VERY SPICY. It is very rare for shops to actually have spicy choices that an Asian can’t handle. I can definitely handle this one but the spice is exactly what I wanted.

They do not offer military discount. I believe all places should contribute to honoring active duty members. The sushi was deliciously appetizing as usual. My sister used to get sushi from here all the time, but then we moved. Naturally, we had to stop by on our visit to Clovis. They are just as good of not better than when we last had it about 4 yrs ago.

I love this spot! The sunomono salad is delicious. The seared sea steak animal style, I think they called it, is also Really good! It was the tuna, with garlic, onions and jalapenos. We also had the mura mura roll! And finished with an oyster shot. From 1-10, I love sushi gets an 11!

Went during the afternoon on a Sunday, parking was easy and service was quick. 4 instead of 5 stars because although it was good, it was not as good as Fusian in Toledo, Ohio. Fusian doesnt fry their tofu like I Love Sushi, and the flavors of the rolls are deeper at Fusian. But I love sushi is still a good spot to get your vegan sushi fix at.

Servers were nice, greets you, and quick to get to you for ordering. I ordered the, Call Me Daddy, appetizer and Fish on Fire seafood specialty plate. Didnt get see shrimp in two of the four pieces of shrimp in my appetizer. They mightve used a smaller sized shrimp and shrunk when it was deep fried. My Fish on Fire plate was a bit salty for my taste and drowned a bit too much in their sauce, but not bad. The albacore and jalapenos that came with it was still good though. Maybe a bit too much sesame seeds and oil for my taste. Cassandra was a great server working quickly and making sure you got what you wanted. I would only come back if my main restaurants werent open like today. I wanted sushi at 3:30pm, but my spot was closed.

Awesome food, dont bother trying to call in a take out order though. Its impossible to get through. They have a sign inside recommending you call ahead for takeout orders to avoid the wait. I asked the hostess if they had a separate number for takeout and she told me they do not, only the main number and it only has 1 phone line. I have been coming here for years and have successfully placed a phone order 2, maybe 3 times. If I were to give a recommendation, it would be, get additional phone lines like every other business I know of or get online takeout ordering setup.

This place overall was pretty good. They have a good selection of sushi amongst other things. We got there at just the right time to be seated right away. The service was fast and the food was good. The pricing is a bit high, but I guess thats expected with todays economy. If youre trying to come for dinner or a weekend, expect a long wait to be seated.

Seriously one of the best sushi restaurants. Sushi is one of my favorite cuisines, so Ive been to many sushi places, but I Love Sushi still holds the #1 spot. This is also factoring places outside of Fresno, and the more fancy/expensive dining experiences. A couple years ago, they remodeled a bit and even though I liked the more casual hole-in-the-wall restaurant feel, the atmosphere is just as great. Wonderful place for a casual lunch, date nights, family dinners, and the take-out is always just as good. More importantly, the food quality has not dipped ever in the 7ish years Ive been eating here. My favorite and recommended roll (if you like raw) is the S.P.C.A. with just a bit of teriyaki sauce on top. This go-to never disappoints, but neither does any of the other rolls Ive tried here. Service is always great as well. I love I Love Sushi!

The waitress and manager (Sara?) provided the worst customer service Ive ever encountered. My family and I came in at off-peak hours. My son was allergic to shellfish so I brought him a McDonalds cheeseburger so the rest of us could enjoy sushi at the restaurant. When the waitress saw my son had a cheeseburger, she stated we couldnt be here unless he went back to our car and ate there. I thought that was very rude to even suggest that to a little kid. I informed the waitress that he is allergic to shellfish, which is the restaurants main course. She refuses to listen and claims that the restaurants policy is the reason. As a result, I inquired if we could eat outside dining area instead since we were not allowed inside the restaurant. She stated that it is still considered restaurant property and that they will not serve us. I was so humiliated in front of my children that I requested if I could talk to the restaurant manager. Im sure the waitress told the management what she said to us, therefore the manager has no choice but to back up her employee. We had to leave because the manager said we wouldnt be served unless we took the one cheeseburger out of the restaurant. She didnt even inquire as to why my son ordered the burger, instead dismissing it as a business policy. I understand that policies must be followed, but kicking me and my family out because my son had a cheeseburger despite the fact that we were about to buy food from the restaurant demonstrated poor customer service and a lack of concern for my sons well-being. Rather than trying to accommodate us, they booted us from the restaurant. I will never return to this location!!

The sushi here is always amazing and my favorite spot in town! The only issue with my last experience was that the waitress Maria was being rude and told us that we have to put away our closed canned drink (which is understandable). The issue is she said that if a manager saw it they would throw it away even though it was a sealed can. There were multiple people around us that had opened bottles, starbucks coffee, and other opened outside drinks and she did not say a thing.

The rolls had no flavor no spice and the only ones I can say were okay were the terminator and the Gaga rolls. I know good quality sushi and this place was not the business. What a shame. We have been consistently coming to this place for years (and spending a lot and tipping 20%) - I’ll start by saying the food is wonderful. Today we came and the service started out poorly but our server was attentive, and got us the things we needed in a timely manner. Our server mentioned “I’ll have to ask my manager about that” about 2 questions we asked during our lunch.At the end, we ordered mocchi for dessert, which the server could not refer the price, but when we received it it was freezer burnt. We told our server who again….. had to ask her manager about what to do. We waited 20 minutes, watched all the staff in the restaurant talk about us, only for the manager to come over and let us know that that is how the mocchi is served. We asked for our money back because it was not edible (1 DOLLAR AND 50 CENTS BY THE WAY HAHA) and he refused. We had already closed out, which the server rushed on us, and then asked for our change back that we had already told the server was for her. We made sure the manager was aware that the money he was retrieving back for us was SUPPOSED to be the servers tip. He dismissed us, said “that’s fine” before we could even finish speaking. POOR management, awful customer service. It is sad that those servers are working under such terrible management, our server was terrified to do anything wrong.We will NOT be returning.

This is my go to sushi place when I go to Clovis. I go here a lot when I visit my parents. The staff is always nice and the food is great. They also are very alert when you mention an allergy. My brother is allergic to sesame seeds. When we mention it, they are very understanding and let us know if anything he or anyone else at the table orders have sesame seeds. They even will exclude it from the order if possible. Would recommend to everyone.

I have always gone to I Love Sushi with quick and great service. Today was the worst service. We were the only people in the building when we first arrived. Other people had gotten sat next to us and the two tables that were next to us had gotten their drinks, food and finished eating, while we haven’t been offered our drinks yet or greeted. No one helped us, there were a couple employees just staring at us and even the manager saw us. We were leaving the building and I let the two waitresses standing in the front as well as the manager know. I was pushed to the side, it was an ordeal plus a 45 minute wait. My favorite sushi place. They have raw, not raw, sashimi, and Japanese beer. The food always tastes good. I usually get raw, unless its eel, and my wife always gets not raw. She used to hate sushi till I took here. Try the 6 piece muscles too, she loves those now. Get the chef selection, youll never be disappointed. The servers here are always nice and so is the manager. The Asian pregnant girl did not greet me, she just seated me and handed the menu the walked away and never came back.
