My food was hot and fresh.The chicken was cooked to perfection. Not dry.I didnt know this restaurant was here. I stumbled upon it.I believe its family-owned. It was clean, fresh & hot meal.Prepared when I ordered it.Decently going back for more.

Since covid, the prices on the meals have been increased dramatically. The quality of the food has remained the same. The oil that they use to fry the chicken was old and you could taste the burn. Other than that the food quality is fair.

Tucked in off of pioneer in woodland you can never go wrong with I love teriyaki. The chicken is freshly grilled, and the rice is hot and fluffy. I dont come here often, but when i do, I get consistently great food.

Chicken and teriyaki sauce was good but didnt care for the veggies which included what looked-like noodle. They were nice to give me extra sauce and staff was friendly. The place was clean.

Sometimes We just love simple, great Teriyaki Chicken, over white rice with their vegies salad. WE each Doctor Our way at home. LOLGF Organic Tamari, and Honey & Pineapple Teriyaki added. YUM!

I like this chain but the Zinfandel location has the BEST food. This location must follow a different recipe, their salad was quite different too. Overall it was Ok

Food was ok but pricey. Rice and chicken katsu for $15 seems to be expensive when I can get more complex food in larger volume elsewhere. If it were super delicious and exceptional, the price tag would be doable. But not for basic regular food that’s not hard to make.

Delicious!! I was staying in town for a few days at a hotel while I was evacuated from my home due to raging fires in California. My family and I decided to try this place after reading all the other stellar reviews. They were not lying!! The food here is so good!We tried the veggie tempura, which, honestly, is probably best eaten at the restaurant because of the nature of tempura, it doesnt travel well. The steam condenses in the to-go box, and contributes to the tempura becoming soggy. Even though it wasnt crispy by the time we ate it, it still had great flavor, and I cant complain because it was my fault, not theirs!We also had teriyaki chicken & sesame chicken with white rice, and teriyaki chicken with noodles, which also came with a side of rice. Both were excellent.If I am ever in the area again, I would definitely stop in for a teriyaki bowl!

My last review of this resturant was 5 stars, I am revising it now.. Seems as though the last 6 months the quality of the food and the attention to detail has steadily gone down hill, When I asked for my meat to be cooked well done in the past I received crispy edges on my meat, now it looks exactly the same as the meat that isnt well done. I dont know where the ladies are that used to work the business? But I wish theyd return.This is my past review...................There are 3 I love teriyakis that I know of in the area.... Comparing them is like comparing a Yugo to a Maserati.... The Woodland location is the only 1 I will eat after having unfavorable experiences at both the other locations.The staff is courteous, friendly, and the food prep area is always neat and tidy. My order is pretty specific and now when I call they dont let me finish my order because they finish it for me... LoLTry the pork plate cooked well done, the edges of the meat are crispy while the center is still tender and juicy... This place is definitely worth taking a trip to woodland 👍

Love this spot!! So damn good! I always go with the 2 item plate with calamari and whatever else I feel at the time (usually the sesame chicken!) Call and order ahead so ya dont have to wait outside for your order👍🏼

I thought this place was great. Its been there for like 26 years. The owners son has grown up in the place. The food was really good and.the atmosphere is just okay, But the food is well worth it. Were going back again. 😀

I like this place I like going here, and the young lady who was originally taking my order was super friendly. The only reason i knocked stars down so harshly was that when the boss wants to step in and argue with the customer about what they want and then basically force their employee to give the customer something else instead of what they wanted or asked for, totally not cool.

Great place to eat and relax, or to take home. Any of their breaded chicken isnt the best as it doesnt have much chicken, but their grilled chicken and beef are both very good. Big portions and good reheated later. If you want to eat in a nicer atmosphere you can order from the I Love Teriyaki menu while at Jinju Sushi (next door).

This place is a hidden gem in Woodland. It doesnt look like much from the outside but the food never disappoints. Lets be honest, were all a bit skeptical of food in a strip mall but this place has great affordable food. I recommend the honey spicy chicken.

This review is for Jinju Sushi, which is next door to I love teriyaki. For some reason it didnt make the correction I made prior to leaving a review. Food is delicious. Had a great time with family. Our servers very pleasant and accommodating. Only minor complaint was the large plate meal literally had a physically large plate, but portion of food was small. Bathroom clean.

My son and I are here for dinner the other night and really enjoyed it. He had the kids meal with teriyaki chicken and I did the regular one item meal with teriyaki beef. Very basic but good tasting and included rice and a simple side vegetable. Well be back again. If you like this style of food or Hawaiian food though I prefer Ono in Woodland.

We have been to several other I Love Teriyaki restaurants and the food was better and the portions were MUCH bigger in the other places than in the Woodland location. Woodlands noodles are actually 75 % bean sprouts. Natomas serves it up tastier and you have enough leftovers to take out for at least another meal; the store in Folsom was the same.My favorite is the Thai chicken!

First they forget food in the order, then when i call, they try and tell me the sorry no one is perfect come back next time and Ill give you chicken. What I asked for Warren perfection, what I asked for was for food to be in my order. Terrible peoples skills.

I love this restaurant. Always have been. I also like ono teriyaki but the sides at I love teeiyate are far better. They are quick with smaller orders, things are cooked fresh, except the rice of course, and their teriyaki sauce is so good. I love there straight to the point service and they cooks had asked us if we enjoyed it. Of course we did. I suggest going. Its decent price and decent portions

Another reviewer who ironically speaks poor English, complains that the workers are hard to understand. I dont find this to be true. Now onto the important part the food, its good. It is easily the best teriyaki place for miles which doesnt say much, however it would be good enough in a more diverse to revisit. They are also fast.

Ok rice. The rest of the food? well.. Un edibleOutdated place last renovation was like on the 80s or something. Garbage can packed you cant fit your left overs in it.Somewhat careless staff i didnt know who was supost to take my order till this wierd dude got up left hes plate on a customer table and began to take my order right after he started to cook DIDNT EVEN WASH HES HANDS... Poor lighting.

If you never ate I love teriyaki than this place is not for you. The language barrier is tough and complicated. They dont understand english and if you have questions about there menus than good luck!! Theres times where ppl work who know english and u can ask easily but mostly hard to communicate if you never ate and dont know the menus.
