i20 Ramen and Katsu in Fullerton

This was my first Katsu experience, and I LOVED IT! Ernesto gave me the rundown and didnt tease me about my lack of adventure. He had the staff recommend a delicious sake and was super friendly.The spicy ramen bowl with the recommended garlic sauce was incredible; full of flavor and the perfect amount of spicy. Pretty sure I saw a jalapeno.This is one of my new favorite spots, Ill definitely be back!Update 10/11/23: just as an amazing experience as before. Wonderful service, delicious ramen (had the vegetable option this time) and iCucumber, and actually pretty quiet at 6:30 when we arrived.

Amazing! My wife was craving Katsu and stumbled along this place nearby. We were seated right away, but we came about an hour and a half before closing so the crowd was dying down.We ordered the Chicken Katsu and Pork Katsu, as well as the Base Camp Roll. The chicken and pork came out quick which had tons of flavor and th Katsu sauce had a very authentic taste similar to the ones in Japan. The Base Camp roll was DELICIOUS. My wife usually doesn’t eat scallops but she devoured it! The scallops were seared just right and all the veggies inside were fresh.We’ll be going back for sure!

📍i20 Ramen and KatsuLocated in Fullerton, California i20 Ramen and Katsu makes incredible ramen well seasoned and cooked noodles to perfection. Not to mention the perfectly cooked pork and vegetables makes this one of my favorite ramen The yellowtail carpaccio with that rich sauce brings it all together and makes it one of my favorite items on the menu.

It’s our 3rd time coming here this month. This ramen place is solid. The owner got his culinary experience from Osaka, Japan. His dishes are simple yet very flavorful.The Tonkotsu ramen & Yuzu Tonkotsu ramen had clean and aromatic pork soups. There’s an option for low-sodium for those who prefer less salty soup base. The chashu is very tender and not gamey.The Chicken Katsu Curry Don (curry rice) was spot on with thinly crisped chicken cutlet, shrimp tempura, and sausages. Their curry is complex and has the closest taste to an actual Japanese curry.We will continue coming regularly to enjoy what else their menu has to offer. Highly recommend this joint!

First off, the service is excellent here. Extremely attentive and friendly. They do such a great job and welcoming you right when you get in and thanking you for your patronage. The tonkotsu miso ramen has a good spice to it and had exceptional flavor. The chashu here has a nice charred flavor and are thick slices. Its well-seasoned, but not melt in your mouth. The egg is halfway between a runny soft boiled egg and a hard boiled egg. You wont get that runny egg p*rn but its very well seasoned with soy sauce. I wouldnt recommend the sushi rolls here since they are composed well but taste of average quality. However, their katsu and curry is definitely a must-get. Their katsu is battered with huge crispy flakes of panko making it super crunchy and their curry has such a depth of flavor. Lastly, the atmosphere of this restaurant is modern, with lots of steel and wood accents, yet has a nice artistic mix of Japanese drapes. Check them out!

This place is awesome. We had ramen and the curry katsu. The dishes had a ton of flavor. The service was above par. The server was working his butt off to make sure everyone was happy.

Tonkotsu Ramen is tasty.Takoyaki is unique Japanese appetizer you can enjoy.

Food was good! Bf and I got ramen with a low-sodium broth. Im sure it wouldve tasted better with the normal broth, but it was totally fine! The egg was the best part honestly. It was delicious!
