Ichiban Sushi in Bakersfield

Came here before closing ordered my food got to eating... then we hear Karen start telling the waitress its 830 allready turn off the lights. Once its 830 you need to start closing turns out karen here is a manager by the name of tanya turning down potential customers.We didnt even finish eating because the check was allready at our table and karen starring us down because its 830...Food was okay... but hospitality was horrible!!Not coming here again 👎I suggest the Owner changes Tanya if he wants a busy bussiness.

We have been coming here for 2 years and have always loved the food, atmosphere and service. We came during Covid and they always accommodated us. We always come with the family and grandparents. I brought my sister this time since she’s from out of town and how disappointing this service was. There was 2 kids and 3 adults and she charged us 20% gratuity, when I asked why she threw her hands up and said I just work here it’s because Covid. I took that as if we weren’t going to tip because this has never happened before. We have always loved the service prior. She had an snide attitude and I don’t have enough space to write the rest of our experience but would love to ask the manager or owner a couple of questions.

My first time here and I definitely can say it was amazing! So lets start off with location... doesnt look like much on the outside but when you walk in, it can be a cozy, casual little date night for you and your significant other. It could be a nice little get together with friends or a nice family night out. Not great for huge groups but perfect for the squad. The staff here are very nice and professional. So now lets talk food. I ordered the dynamite appetizer and the sashimi. The dynamite consisted of baked mussels with vegetables and some kind of sauce and it had my taste buds on an amazing journey. This is Sashimi was fresh and they give nice portion sizes. Price range will run you about an average of $12-$13 a plate, depending on what you want. For those special occasions, they even have the Sushi Boat. I will definitely be back.

Very delicious I ordered the Bakersfield roll also tried Godzilla roll, lobster roll. Its very Good I highly recommend this place for a great bite! Also customer service is great! Love this place I will definitely come back 👍 thank you!

I went in there to eat to try sushi for my first time. Im in a wheelchair with one leg. Other people came in after me and got service immediately. But I never got service rolled out I feel like the lady did not serve with me because Im handicapped.

They did not honor my rewards card (punch card). Granted it was signed weird by one of the waiters, but they basically assumed that I faked the card while simultaneously spending over $60 on rolls.Also, they gave me a Snow White, but I ordered the Red Tango...

There is absolutely nothing bad about this place..great service and the best fried calamari ever..me and my son will be back weekly

Sushi is good but they got my order wrong last time I ordered from them. I ordered their Aloha roll which comes with California roll inside and Albacore and red snapper on top. I got the roll and its only California inside and tuna on top. I also ordered their salmon hand roll. Its simple. Seaweed, salmon,rice,avacado. They forgot the avacado. Very disappointed. They could have at least told me they ran out and were replacing it. Wont be ordering from them anymore.
