ID (Idly Dosa) Company in Newark

Good South Indian Restaurant situated in the Newpark Mall with a lot of vegetarian options. Has entrance inside the mall and outside as well, very close to the new Newpark Costco. We tried Vijaywada Paneer Dosa, Ghee Roast Dosa & Andra Karam Dosa, all of them were really good in taste. Took some time to be available as it was busy but not too slow. It is a self service place. We also ordered Spring Rolls, Kala Khatha Soda & Filter coffee. Spring rolls were alright, I believe as it is not their specialty. Kala Khatha Soda was not very good and very sweet, but their filter coffee was great. Sambhar serving size is small but they happily provide refills without any extra charge if asked. Overall good satisfying food. Wont be thinking much before going back there.

This was not my first time but went not on rush time just to see howz food taste. My fav here is Idly Sambar but this time I tried Ragi Millet Idli. It was yummy 😋 and fluffy as well. Sambar was good but looks like they reduced quantity. Lover their coconut (green) & peanut chutney. Tomato chutney felt little salty today.A big shout out for service. My order came very quick n so for others as well. They served my filter coffee personally on my table.My to-go was ready by the time I finished my coffee n Ragi Millet Idly.Stay tuned for to-go review.Overall Im satisfied with their food portion, quality and service as well.Thank you guys! 👍

I love this place! The idly, sambar, and the 5 different dosas I’ve tried so far have been hella good. The spice level and overall flavor are just perfect. The meat dosas are halal and spicy and they give a lot of filling. The idly is the perfect texture and taste and in the regular idly order they give 3 big ones (about the size of my palm). I probably order take out from here once a month and the packaging is good/cute too. Location wise it’s in the mall. It’s clean and there is a decent amount of seating.

The best dosa collection in Bay Area. Veg and non veg dosa are amazing. I just love their passion and dedication in packing the dosa for togo orders. They figured packing that won’t make the items soggy. I’ll visit again

The food here was so damn good. I felt I have come to Bengaluru inside. (Sic) Its so difficult to find a good South Indian food place in the US forget Bay area and this one definitely is on the top.I tried Mysore Masala Dosa and Vada, both were just delicious and amazing. Vada was so fresh and crispy. There were 3 delicious chutneys and we could refill the chutneys or sambar (a little sweet sambhar though but fine) There were Telugu songs being played on TV (which we couldnt understand). There is self service, no waiters and its a nice little Desi restaurant.

I ordered chilli cheese dosa and I didn’t like it. Roasted idly was good . Another (Hyderabad) dosa was ok.

Good South Indian breakfast spot. Nothing extraordinary. Tried their Mysore masala dosa, idly 65 and medu vada. The chutney spread and sambar were okay, nothing special. Filter coffee was good. The service takes at least about 20mins. This place is inside the mall.

The place probably has the best dosa with large varieties, specially halal meat dosas which is not common here, food comes in around 15-20 mins which is ok as good things take time.Though its a self service restaurant, management is delightful and was smiling, very warm and welcoming, Thanks for the lovely service.Your tummy will be full and happy here! 10/10 recommended!Will be back again soon👍🏻

The food literally made me nostalgic!! Food is so close to authentic South Indian food. Best South Indian food I have had in the US
