This sandwich spot is clean and staff are friendly. Ordered for a work luncheon and had to wait 10 minutes past the pick up time. Items on menu in house have more of a variety then online! They DO have gluten-free bread which is nice!

This was my first time in an Ikes Sandwich shop and Mario was super patient with me and answered all my questions. I wanted to walk out because I was unfamiliar with the menu but he made me feel at home with his hospitality.

Finally! It’s here!! Love this place. As usual, very friendly employees with smiles and our sandwiches were made fast and accurate. They could’ve used a bit more meat. Other locations loaded it up but it was too light this time. That said, this has instantly hit the meal rotation for me. Loads of parking in the lot. Lots of seating. Good music playing tonight too.

God forbid this place picks up the phone, called multiple times and they would answer just to hang up. After calling for the 4th time they finally answered the phone and asked me to wait 3 minutes, just to hang up again. I’ve called this location multiple times as well in the past few months, and they never answer the phone.

Just had the weirdest experience at this location. Safe to say I wont be going back... the older lady that took my order was rude and completely unhelpful. Not to mention didnt change her glove after shoving her hands in the tip jar to give me change for my sandwich. The servers are supposed to take their gloves off when handling money and put new ones on before making food. She kept one glove on the whole time and only replaced one??? When I first tried to place my order She kept saying they didnt have the sandwich I wanted because she couldnt find it in the system. No help at all. I had to point out to her that the name may have changed. Then I asked her if the Dutch crunch bread was vegan. All she said was I dont know. Didnt offer to ask anyone or anything. I literally had to Google it. I left feeling disgusted by the idea of her not changing her glove and couldnt bring myself to finish the sandwich. What a disappointment.

Warm, toasty sandwiches! Got the handsome owl and name of my girlfriend - really good, heavy stuff. Highly recommend the handsome owl, slight wasabi mayo, that blends really well with the (vegan) chicken and veggies. Im a meat eater myself, but really loved this sandwich!

Nice service. Friendly and courteous.Food was ok, but lots of different things were unavailable so it could have been better.The wait for our food was excessive. Took a long time to get our order. I recommend calling in to order ahead of time so youre not waiting for so long like we did.There were no other customers when we walked in, so I dont know why it took about 30 minutes to make 4 sandwichs.

I like their sandwiches, been going to a different Ikes for years. Thought I would stop by after a quick trip to Costco. Guy that helped was friendly and transaction was good. But seriously, why do they let a former employee carrying a small dog walk through the food prep area to collect her final check? Unsanitary much? Check your cameras 11:45-12pm on March 10.

Ordered food to go on a Saturday evening, not much people in the store. Staff was nice, but the sandwich was not as good as I hoped. Bread was stale, and there was a plastic wrap in my sandwich. I have ordered sandwiches from Cupertino store and had not had these issues before. Will likely not order from this location.

I thought the love part was just marketing, but I really felt it when I visited a couple of weeks ago. I was having a tough day and maybe I was showing it when I walked through the door. This is a brand new location and I definitely would recommend folks working close by to visit this one!Being a vegetarian, nothing makes me happier than to see a full blown veggie menu with a dozen classic options.In terms of the location, theres ample seating here for smaller as well as larger groups. Wonderful and friendly staff that was happy to go over the menu in great detail.My personal favorite is the Reading Rainbow which was delicious to the core.Just calling out that the official grand opening of this location is on 08/14 !!

This has been me and my coworkers’ go to sandwich spot for the last year. We’ve tried several other sandwich places but none of them compare to the consistent quality that Ike’s puts out. This goes beyond just the sandwiches, the cleanliness of the store, the layout, and above all those things the customer service. The quality of the service they offer should be a benchmark for all other fast casual restaurants, it is a perfect blend of treating customers like valued guests and an urgency that ensures you’re leaving happy and staying happy after you’ve taken that first bite. I’d like to personally give a shout out to one of the workers who goes by Russ. A week after we started eating here, he had all of our names memorized and greets us with warm welcomes and friendly conversation anytime he’s working. Definitely give this place a chance, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Really good sandwiches with some halal options in the chicken range. Get them with the Dutch bread which is crispy with a hint of sweetness. Recommend the following:- Silicon Valley: milder spice, with creamy artichoke and other veggies.- we are just friends: with chicken, zesty orange glaze and avocado as well as other veggies.Huge portion sizes.

First time here and it was awesome. Even during our current pandemic situation the staff had outstanding customer service. The tall guy with glasses (sorry didn’t get a name) that took my order was on point and helped me with my decision. Even wiped down the credit pad directly after I used it. This Ikes had the best food and more importantly best service I have ever experienced. The person working the front desk was extremely charasmatic and polite, and I still remember his name (michael) to this day. Since I will likely never experience a better sandwitch experience at any other store, I will be sure to come back again.

Love this place but today let me down bad. Not only did I pre order on the app thinking it might be faster. Saw that other walked in ordered and a few walked out with their order while I waited. Explanation was that they were backed up but then over heard one sandwich was skipped. Therefore had to wait for the other. Order for a pick at 1245 didnt get it till 1 and when of course the cashier apologized and said there were coupons, I still thought something was up. Coupon expires next week and along with that, cant use it in the manner which had been doing. Plus my sandwich was cold while the other one was warm.

One of the best Ikes locations. The employees here are kind and a joy to chat with & sandwiches are always great. They almost never mess up an order, but if they do theyre extremely gracious about it. The parking lot can get packed on weekend afternoons when Costco is busy, but the pandemic has actually taken care of that problem. I really appreciate the their guidelines for masks and cleaning. Love this place.

Located in a very competitive plaza with Costco right next to them, this sandwich spot still attracted customers - that highlights the brand image that the new location can build on.Inside, this has all the feel of a new machine trying to function like a well oiled one. Yet, the warmth of the newly hired staff and their willingness to ensure that they got it right for all orders - makes the sandwiches worth the wait.Plenty of seating and parking is a huge plus - and was hard to find at their Cupertino location.The sandwiches are of course melt in the mouth delicious. All in all, welcome back in Mountain View, Ikes!

Great place for vegan sandwiches. Looking at the prices may guide you because the more simple ones are cheaper, but not necessarily bad. The John Steinbeck was too simple but the owl was really good. The dutch bread was the best (we put the sandwich in the air fryer for some minutes and it was perfect). Will be back to try more of them for sure. No pictures because we ate them

Solid. You can expect the same level of service and stuff from all the Ikes locations. One star off for lack of ambiance at this location. Its in a strip mall near costco, krispy kreme, a comic book store, and some other small businesses. The interior is a bit dated.I also wish they would just put all the sandwiches they make on the menu. I dont like that some ikes locations have sandwich X on the menu, then some dont, but if you ask theyll usually make it. Clearly they know how to make it, so maybe it should be on the menu and I wouldnt have to act like it was a secret item.

This is my third time at the Rengstorff location and the first time my order was wrong and I was unhappy with the food. Not only did I get the incorrect bread, but the bread was very stale. I didnt eat it. And there was literally one slice of steak on my sandwich where normally there is more. Def not worth $14. Guess the lesson is to always double check that your order is correct before leaving the premises. If I hadnt already driven all the way back home, I would have taken it back & requested they remake it correctly

I love Ikes sandwiches, so I was pretty excited when this location opened up. But it has been disappointing on three different occasions - First time they took a long time to make the sandwiches. Second time they realised after a long wait that they dont have the vegan meat to fulfil our orders. Third time they mixed up mine and my friends order. All the three occasions the staff has been curt and unhelpful. Cupertino is a much better location with a helpful and joyful staff.

I have been a fan of Ikes for many many years back to Foster city, but hasnt visited them for a while. Now we just found they have a location in MTV :) and my whole family become their fans. They just make awesome sandwich and a great option for this working from home crazy time.They could get very busy at lunch time, may need to get your order in a little bit earlier.Updated, hopefully someone will read this, the online app cant check out in the last couple weeks, I am on the latest Android, it always complains about payment， definitely not my card issues since I can buy chipotle

Ordered two sandwiches with my girlfriend. The folks in the shop said it would take 10 minutes and they would bring the sandwiches to us just outside the shop. After a few minutes, one of the employees came out to say our card was declined (after it processed in the shop and we got a receipt) and gave us a receipt with a credit. When we asked if we could use a different card, he was distracted by someone else and went back inside (in somewhat of a rude fashion). We decided to take our business elsewhere. It was really weird.

While they have a very extensive menu, I dont feel the price of the sandwiches are worth the quality, given the fact that all their vegan protein options as well as some of their toppings such as zucchini rings and jalapeño poppers are frozen and not fresh. And the cost of adding toppings is also pretty high and can make the sandwich overall costly. For eg. Judson Drive with Zucchini cost ~$16
