I would give a zero if I could. I placed an online order, and after it failed to go through the first time, I submitted it again. As a result, I was charged twice and to make matters worse,. When I got to the store to pick it up, there was no order for me. They said they would remake it, so I went to the Safeway next door for about 20 minutes and did some shopping. When I came back, I asked if my order was ready and I was told that it never got made and that the workers were confused. I waited another 20 minutes while they remade the order and talked to the manager, Destiny, about a refund for the double charge. She was unable to authorize a refund and gave me the number to “the manager”, named Katya. I called katya, who said she was actually the manager for a different store and couldn’t help me. But, she said that she would contact the regional manager, and he would reach out to me. No one reached out to me. They finally got my order remade, but it was on the wrong bread and had the wrong ingredients. I will never go back to the store again, I wasted two hours trying to get three sandwiches and left there with incorrect sandwiches and $74 worth of charges on my credit card that nobody seems to be able to refund. I will be reporting them to the headquarters and to anyone else I can get a hold of. Please please please do not go to the store. They steal your money and waste your time. It shouldn’t be this difficult!

Sandwiches are great (it’s Ike’s after all), but they are severely under staffed. Despite all the hustling of the employees, it takes forever to get a sandwich. I’m talking no less than a half an hour. Even if you pre-order, it’s often still net ready when you get there. It’s a shame, cause I love the food, but because of how long it takes, I don’t go there very often anymore.

Good evening Ike!!I had a wonderful experience at your Pleasanton location on Tuesday night. I was greeted so nicely by Tamaiya, who was also busy making sandwiches. What a great first impression with a sincere welcome. I ordered 3 sandwiches, and Tamaiya even confirmed my ingredients as there were a few added items. She was a pleasure to talk to, and provided outstanding customer service as she also answered my questions about recommendations. All 3 sandwiches were excellent in flavor, portion size, and enough for leftovers. It was an overall great experience.Sincerely,Kevin

I used to love Ikes at Hayward and Sunnyvale. Ordered online and went to pick up 30 minutes later - the time the email said the order would be ready. Had to wait another 45 minutes to get the food. They only picked our order after I asked them.Ended up with a soggy sandwich overloaded with lettuce.

Our Dutch Crunch bread combined with Ike’s secret “Dirty Sauce,” (a creamy garlic aioli toasted right into the bread), is as iconic as Ike Shehadeh himselfIf you advertise it, how can you be out? Only reason I like coming, is for the dutchcrunch. Still a good sandwich even if it was on sourdough. Hence only 4 stars

I ordered a couple sandwiches for the game through Door Dash. Order arrives but missing my sandwich. Hangry and looking to get something to eat I Called the actual store. I didn’t want to tip another driver to bring me what I already paid for. I want to shout out the guys at the shop who took care of me. Without any discussion Ryan the store manager told me they’d bring me out another sandwich. Hunter showed up, I offered a tip, he refused and gave me a coupon for another sandwich. Mistakes happen but I’m cool with making up for it and these guys rocked it. Much appreciated for the exceptional customer service and willingness to go above and beyond what’s expected. I’ll be ordering Ike’s moving forward, especially from this spot on Santa Rita. Thank you guys!

They tend to flood your sandwich with dressing and sauce that it takes away from the sandwich and becomes a mushy mess.

I am so happy to have an Ikes in Pleasanton, closer to home!We love that they use Mariposa bakery gluten free baguettes for the sandwiches. Local and tasty. I almost always get the Hollywoulds SF Cheesesteak sandwich with extra sauce. Plus more sauce on the side for dipping, as GF bread can be drier than wheat bread and I like lots of sauce. The sauce is delicious! Salty with a tiny bit of heat which I love. I also like to eat my sandwich at home heated up and add mayo to make it more melty.The day I first tried the Pleasanton location, they were unfortunately out of steak but said I could still get the sandwich and sun the meat out. Perfect because the other combos didnt sound good that day. I opted for halal chicken thinking that would go well with the mushrooms and provolone. Well I dont actually know as they gave me pastrami instead. It was delicious and a great steak alternative. Too bad my tummy didnt like it. I dont do well on lunch meat thats why I get steak or chicken.To sum it up, our gluten free sandwiches were just as delicious as always. I like this location for convenience and the sandwich amounts (as not all are consistent with the amount of meat) and will definitely be returning. I will just try to remember to check my sandwich before leaving the store next time.

I ordered the Madison Bumgarner, I come her usually once a week. You can order up to 50 different sandwiches. If you are vegan they make vegan sandwiches, and my favorite part is that they have HALAL chicken. Please try it out, the best...
