Absolutely FANTASTIC sandwiches! Drawn here from a Tiktok about the 188. DOOMSDAY sandwich (yes a bit pricier than their normal sandwiches - yes it has EVERYTHING). Split with 2 people and it was just the right amount of food, VERY delicious. It was amusing that they hadnt heard of this sandwich and had to look it up, so they had fun making it for the first time (I think; heard several times about how crazy it was that it has EVERY meat). Their Dutch Crunch bread is something OUT of this world.

I usually love this place because they offer vegetarian and vegan meat alternatives, as i follow a vegan diet for health reasons. I ordered a ‘pilgrim’ sandwich from DoorDash that included vegan turkey, but my sandwich contained real meat products. I had taken a bite before realizing and have been violently sick since. I have been trying to call this location to speak to someone but no one seems to answer the phone.

The sandwiches are SO good, but got the wrong sandwich.Ikes is known for their amazing sandwiches and they never disappoint, except for today when we got the wrong sandwich. It was labeled correctly, but had the wrong ingredients. It was still good, but not what we expected.Its great that Ikes will pretty much customize whatever sandwich you want. The cashier was nice, and despite the number of people working behind the counter, it seemed to be going rather smoothly.I dont know if this is a new thing at all Ikes locations, but this one will charge you $0.75 Transaction Charge to support business expenses. You CAN opt to decline the extra charge if you want. Based on the number of customers, Id think Ikes could get away with a $0.25 charge per transaction and be fine. But its Dublin, so I bet they get $0.75 out of almost every one.

Ordered the Halal Chicken Sandwich. It was super soggy given all the dirty sauce and honey mustard they pile on it. The bread cannot sustain that amount of moisture. It was terrible. The sandwich literally fell apart after the first bite. Forget taking the sandwich home to eat, trust me it would not make it intact. Water is not filtered, there is a noticeable metallic taste that overwhelms the soda. Soda machine was very dirty.

I dont understand why this place consistently gets online orders wrong. There are so many other reviews with the same issue. For ours, they have left out main ingredients, left out order requests, and left out the basic tomato and lettuce on most of our sandwiches. We have yet to get an order right from them. Since this seems to be a common issue, why havent they addressed it? Maybe its better in store, but we probably wont order online from them anymore.

We had a bad experience with our DoorDash order from here. Came in the next day for the manager to be very polite and understanding. Made our order right and we left satisfied and happy. Not to mention the cashier was very kind and professional.

I love Ikes! This place is a mandatory stop whenever Im on town. Service is always great, I did have to wait for my sandwich but they are busy and the wait was well worth it I believe I got the dirty Reuben Im the dutch. Make sure you get the Voodoo chips

Twice now Ive had horrible experiences at this Ikes location. Which is a shame because Ikes in general is delicious. If you think ordering online will be a smooth experience where you can slide in and pick up your waiting order, youre wrong. It was absolute mayhem when I tried to order at lunch time. Even though I arrived at the estimated complete time, I still had to wait for about an HOUR, all the while being lied to that my order was coming up, before I got the truth that it still wasnt even started. People who walked in and ordered well after me got their food first. And this was the case for several of the people waiting for orders. After all that I asked for a refund (which they cannot do on the spot). I experienced similar problems when I ordered in the evening on a separate occasion. Perhaps its pandemic staffing problems, maybe its bad management. It felt like the employees were working as hard as they could, but I just cant do it anymore. Please save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Ikes is the go to vegetarian sandwich shop around. Its fast, its easy to order and the menu is thoughtful for vegetarian options. Consistently good quality and good service. Like anywhere there are good and bad days, but this location is consistently solid.

Really loved the sandwiches here, except that they are expensive for what we get. Not just one visit - every time. Ordered vegan meat sandwich (PeeWee), got *ONE* deli (meaning very thin) slice on each side of the sandwich! Couldnt believe it, wondered if they just ran out the first time, or were distracted & forgot to add more, but figured it was a fluke & didnt complain. Second time, one thin slice on each side of bun again. Thats just not enough, even Subway gives more than one slice! Asked for all vegan, but didnt get cheese? Not sure whats going on bc the meat sandwiches pictured are piled pretty high & we dont know if its because were eating vegan, but there shouldnt be a discrepancy between meat & plant-based meat portions! They advertise vegan cheese, too, but when I reminded them please make it all vegan, we didnt get (plant-based) cheese! Did online order 3rd time, wasnt ready when we got there, came up 10 mins later (total 25 mins wait), this time, 3 slices of meat on the entire sandwich, so we dont know why the policy is to give very little vegan meats, but we feel its very unfair. Otherwise, selection of veggies was good, with banana peppers & jalapenos, too, and we like the dirty sauce & bread choices. Selection of teas is appreciated, the hibiscus was our fav. We wanted to make this our go-to for sandwiches, but really dont agree that one or two thinly sliced pieces of vegan meat is sufficient, especially when paying over $12 for a PeeWee sandwich, and seeing others sandwiches made more generously. Feel strongly that cashier should not switch over to sandwich prep, a quick washing (rinsing really) of hands then putting on gloves always concerns us, and we wonder whats going on in the back prep-kitchen, if gloves & proper sanitation is being used.

Dont get me wrong, the sandwiches here are simply amazing. The service at this particular location is terrible. I first tried to call in my order, but no one answered the phone. When I arrived, there were 3 people working and several customers waiting for orders. I placed my order after only a couple minutes wait. All of a sudden, there were only 2 people working to fill orders and they were very busy. The phone rang a couple of times, and neither employee answered. I waited at least 20 minutes for my one sandwich.This isnt the first time Ive had to wait so long to get a sandwich. Nevertheless, the sandwich is ordered was exactly to my specifications and delicious as usual. I think they just need to hire a few more people to make things run smoothly.

We ordered 4 sandwiches from this place, 3 Reading rainbow and 1 Time traveler. They messed up on all four of them. 2 of 3 Reading rainbow did not have any avocado, even though it is one of the main ingredient for that sandwich. None of the sandwiches had jalapeños that we had asked for and they did not give extra dirty sauce on the side as well. When we are paying $12 per sandwich, the least we expect is to get the basic ingredients right and not miss the requests me made. We will most probably give this place a miss next time we want to have Ike’s sandwich.

This location ran out of steak however long ago and continues to put some gross form of roast beef or something to replace it on some of their popular steak based sandwiches. Have no signs or notices to let customers know and even charge the same price for whatever they think that is. You guys need to change something because that is just messed up to normal Ike’s lovers. Shame on you guys.

Ive always had a positive experience at this place when I went to it in Santa Clara. Here, I showed up well before closing, and its empty, with one worker on his phone who seems disinterested and blatantly says we arent taking anymore orders. What a terrible experience, no justification either. Not sure if I will ever return again. I have experience working with customers and always put them first. But being treated like this on the other side is frustrating. Thank you, its over.

Good sandwiches. Only issue I have is the quality of the sourdough differs depending on where you are. The SF location had the most crunchiest, blistered crust . Have not seen that replicated in any other location thus far. That said. Quality ingredients tasty sandwich.

Ive been to this Ikes location a number of times and although I love the chain Ive been consistently disappointed with this location.The service has been consistently slow regularly waiting 10+ minutes after ordering. Recently I put in a Mobile order and waited 20 minutes for my sandwiches because they didnt call out names when orders were ready.Ive noticed that the portions of protein at this shop are smaller than others.Most Ikes locations have a Sur charger per order to cover rising costs, which I dislike but is understand. This brand new location also has this, which is rediculous and insulting. The prices are higher here than other local Ikes too

And after 15 minutes i ask can i place a order the staff says we are too busy and behind right now so your going to have to wait with an additude. This is no way to treat any customer. Ive enjoyed Ikes since I tried it the first time a few years ago in Oakland. I would drive out from the other side of the Dublin grade just to get myself a Tony Soprano. When I heard they opened one at Hacienda Crossings, I knew I would try it more often and I have. This spot is small, like most of them but there is great seating outside and makes for a great meal before or after an overpriced movie. I suggest a Tony Soprano with mozzarella sticks added on. You will NOT be disappointed.
