This is one of the best sandwich places in Orange county for sure! Everything was delicious. I got the backstabber on a French roll and it was very tasty. The artichoke hearts were a bit tangy but matches pretty well with the Caesar dressing. Service was also wonderful, everyone here was really nice.

Ike’s is our favorite sandwich shop. There are so many delicious sandwiches with the best Dutch crunch rolls.There’s vegan sandwiches with vegan fried chicken, vegan turkey, vegan steak, etcEvery sandwich is made Ike’s way— hot with dirty sauce, lettuce and tomato.In my opinion that dirty sauce makes everything great. We always ask for an extra side dish because you can’t get enough.Ironically it’s our son’s favorite in San Francisco so it’s our first meal for his visits.The Ruben sandwich with the spicy, delicious, coleslaw and great dressing makes it delicious- particularly if you choose the Dutch crispy roll.Lots of people of all ages. I have to admit I’m a senior and I still love the Carmel apple lollipops.Love this place ! Can’t wait until another Ike’s opens in five pointsEnjoy every bite ( don’t forget the sauce)

The wheat bread tasted like it was fresh out of the oven. We had the turkey and chicken sandwiches. Although the chicken sandwich was a bit on the sweet side, they were absolutely delicious!!!

Went to their FV location to order a sandwich to go. After inserting my credit card, the cash register prompted for a tip. Do other sandwich places ask for a tip on to go orders? Perhaps workers need to to be paid more? Such greed is a total turn off.

There are very few meals I would give 5 stars to. I was pleasantly surprised with how amazing this food was. I got the “Halsey”. I make Italian chicken all the time so I was skeptical. But it was a well thought out sandwich and all the flavors complimented one another. 10/10 would recommend.

The sandwiches are always good here, but the service was atrocious. We ordered online, one sandwich, paid, and arrived a little early before it was due at 5:14. Six other people, including walk-up orders, walked out before me. I ended up leaving the store with mine at 5:30 or so. I am not returning here.2023-09-03 date in case you want to rectify something.

This place is really good, but the tables are always dirty and everytime you ask the employees to clean it. They hand you a rag and tell you to do it yourself. I didnt make a big deal about it, but its not the first time Ive seen them do this. A couple months ago some lady asked the same thing and the same employee actually handed her a rag. That time I thought it was hilarious, but this time I wasnt laughing. Maybe I should be...?

Ikes sandwiches offers creative sandwiches wit fun names. The Dutch Crunch bread is awesome. We had a Meatball sub, the Michael Jordan and my husband had the John Wayne. Both very good.

Absolutely love this place. It was closer in HB I would legit go everyday. I love the way Ike’s sauce and I usually try to get something new every time. I just really like all of their sandwich’s, really can’t go wrong here. They are made quickly and if you don’t like any of the sandwiches they have online, go into the place they have other sandwiches that on their board.Also you can make your owe as well.

I had this sandwich, the Jaymee_Sirewich, on Sourdoughs the other day.... Great sandwich!! Ike’s Love & Sandwich is very Famous in San Francisco... they opened up several in the OC!! Don’t have fly or drive to the Bay Area to have their great Stuff!!! And yes I have to have this on what else? Sourdough!!Also pictured, mozzarella stick and their marinara sauce. It’s good in their own version. Just a hint of something...? Like tiny bit of horseradish?Just something to say about what Ike does... it’s his version and it’s very good. Like the Yellow BBQ Sauce and Mozzarella Stick. Very unique and make things for exciting!

This was my first time at Ikes and I gotta say Im pretty satisfied! I didnt know what I wanted but I asked the cashier for recommendations and ended up going with the Menajatwa!The wich had honey mustard sauce and Italian chicken topped with lettuce and on whole wheat bread. It tasted so amazing all the way through, the spread had a lot of flavor, and the chicken was very tender. The portions were huge and really filling, but for the price of 11 bucks it better be! I would come back but its definitely not a once a week

This review is for those of us that are gluten free. The sandwich n sauce is delicious. However, they are almost half the size of the regular sandwiches and you have to pay more. The sandwiches are pricey to begin with then the extra charge for a smaller sandwich that fits much less fixings, I dont think its worth it. The others in my family will return occasionally because it is pricey for a sandwich. But I wont be going back to pay $18+ for what looks like a kids sub.P.S. the secret sauce IS yummy. Overall Im bummed.

They have the most unique sandwiches here, with some funny names. I wanna try them all, they have a huge menu and they all sound so good. but so far I have only tried 2. They also have vegetarian options. This place has nothing but good vibes and great sandwiches! It is a little pricey, but so worth it. 10/10 would recommend to anybody that loves sandwiches.

I would have given a 5 star but if I am paying for 15 dollars sandwich I want meat in it . They gave me three slices a handful of lettuce. I ask for pickles did not taste it thr red slaw was not even there . And where is my Swiss cheese. Did not taste that. Its lacking . And tuna one with Baggett did not hold together. Same lack of the main sandwich. Customer service when order was great. I will not recommend this.

SO GOOD! I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years and I LOVE this place - - so many options whether you eat meat or not. You can also make most vegetarian sandwiches vegan if youd like.Im obsessed with the Meatless Mike, a vegetarian or vegan meatball sub. Seriously. Make it vegan and they swap the sauce and cheese for vegan options and youd NEVER know it. SO GOOD!My husband also loves the chicken options on the menu and has tried several.Id definitely recommend this place to anyone craving a sandwich - - whatever youre in the mood for, theyve got it!

Is it expensive? Yes my sandwich drink and chips were about $15 with a tip and tax. Is it the best sandwich Ive ever had? Id actually say yes. So is it worth $15 for literally the best sandwich Ive ever had in my life? Yes. 10/10. Staff helped me with their very large menu named after pop culture references and the sandwich they made absolutely blew away all expectations. Im not exaggerating when I say this is the BEST sandwich I have ever had. Im blown away. Perfect.

Any sandwich made on Dutch crunch is worth the price of admission. The service here is always friendly and I cant ever complain about the food. I kinda wish the hours were expanded slightly and that the offerings were a bit more consistent from location to location, but its still a go-to if I want a tasty sub sandwich and recommend people to try it out.

Ikes makes sizable and delicious sandwiches, and I think this is an experience everyone should try at least once. It is hard to believe that I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for a while and never tried Ikes while there! I tried the Madison Bumgarner sandwich, and it was delicious. I would recommend the Dutch Crunch bread. Service here was friendly, and the cashier did a good job of explaining the numerous sandwich options. There are apparently some secret menu sandwiches (one of which my friend ordered), so I am sure that those who are curious about those kinds of things can research online and unearth some interesting creations. A great eating experience, and I would be eager to try this again if/when in the Fountain Valley area in the near future.

Some of the best sandwiches Ive had. They are not cheap, but the Dutch Crunch bread and the sauces are what really get me coming back again and again. Just a heads up that they MIGHT ask if you want to add $0.75 to your order for employee benefits or something. Its a bit of a strange practice, but it is optional, so dont feel pressured to say yes. In the subsequent times Ive visited, they havent asked, so it was either a temporary thing or theyve stopped it completely.

Ubereats introduced me to this place and it was SOOO worth the wait. Im vegan. My picky 6 year old is not. I took a chance and ordered him the Michael Jordan minus the lettuce and tomato- he inhaled it and said it was delicious. I had the James and the Giant Peach made vegan and added avocado. So good. They honored all of my requests and Im thrilled to have found fast food both my son and I are happy with.

I am so addicted to this place and i dont even like sandwiches and the nearest one is almost 30 miles away, but that hasnt stopped me from coming here 3x in the past month 😆 i think it has to do with their sour dough bread because its absolutely yummy! i took my niece and her friend, they had both almost eaten their entire sandwich! be prepared the menu is large but the staff will be more than happy to help you figure it out.

Be prepared to pay close to $11.00 (yes eleven) with tax for a cold-cut sandwich. I find this to be outrageous for a sub sandwich. And that does NOT include chips or drink. And if you want to add a little something extra on your sandwich such as advocado, add another couple bucks to the already overpriced sandwich.The ONLY way I will go back to Ikes is if I have a half-off coupon. Otherwise, I refuse to pay $10.00 PLUS TAX for a cold-cut (sliced turkey lunch meat) sandwhich.The sandwhich I got was tasty I must say. I got the Going Home For Thanksgiving sandwich which was sliced turkey with cranberry sauce (the cranberry was similar to canned cranberry sauce - not homemade). As tasty as it was, however, it is similar to the old Togos Sandwhich shops if you were familiar with them. Almost identical to that type of cold lunch meat sandwhich.Ikes owners, if you are reading this, you really do need to cut your sandwhich prices in half if you want to survive in a city that sees fast food places go out of business often.
