I had to stop at Ikes Love Sandwich Shop because Crazy Eight my one eyed painter pal from the Golden Gate bridge painting crew asked me for a sandwich worthy of a day off. All I could think of was Ikes love sandwich shop and the Mortadella with roasted red peppers and peperoncini on thin cut wheat bread...Man-O-Man was it good! ☆☆☆☆☆

Amazing! So many meat, vegetarian and vegan options, plus custom. Went to buy a bag of chips and he gave them to me for free! How kind. If I lived nearby I would definitely be back.

Hot sandwiches are the trend here. Lots of different varieties of sandwiches with famous names. We ordered Jeremy stoppelman,Madison bumgarner and the matt cain. All were very good. Everyone sandwich had a signature sauce. Sandwiches average price was $10ea and that about average these days. Remember to ask for the apple caramel lollipops (free).

They only had 2 guys working and they were doing the best they could. People came to pick up orders and seemed rude since they werent ready in time. Be patient and kind when you can clearly see they are short staffed

My first meal after getting off a 13-hour flight to SFO! This place is my friends go-to sandwich place (as they live in Daly) and my friends husband chose the Matt Cain for me and I did like it - the Dutch crunch is new to me and I would love to scoff a plain slice of it lathered with butter! Anywho, the content of the Matt Cain is nice and meaty but I have to say the sandwich had a hint of sweetness, which I wasnt a fan of. I like my sammies savoury so am not sure if it was the bread or the sauce. Id go back and try another sandwich for sure though. I feel like itd go well with a side of salty chips or even a gherkin (pickle).

We used to frequent here occasionally out of convenience and never have very good service, but our most recent visit will be our last. We ordered two sandwiches (it was not busy at all) and it took an absorbent amount of time solely because only one person out of the three employees was doing any work. I feel bad for the one employee trying his best while the other two played with napkins and chatted. When we checked in to see if there was a problem with our order (after almost an hour) we rudely told that they will get to it when they can before that employee went back to playing with napkins and talking about their dating history. The second star is solely for the one employee trying while the others did nothing.

Great Sandwiches that have some funky, hip jive turkey names! Get it...jive turkey because it is a sandwich establishment! :)This is my two cents about the wait time @ the new Serramonte location. If they expect people to go back for more and be returning customers in a location surrounded by so much competition, they need some management guidance. There are many other competitors in the area such as Mr. Pickles, Safeway, Subway and In-N-Out. They will need to pick up the slack if Ikes Love and Sandwiches expects to get my business. It was slow and it took way too long for my sandwich to be finished.
