I love this place! They have such an extensive menu of sandwiches, plus you can still customize your toppings and bread. I got the Little Mermaid on Dutch crunch bread this time and it was delicious! My friend got Jim Rome on Dutch crunch and I think I will try that one next time. I like that every time I go I can try something new. Also the staff at this location are very kind and attentive. I intend to keep coming back to Ikes!

This is the best Sandwich Spot that I have found within the Bay Area!! Everybody that works there is always really friendly. I havent tried a sandwich yet that I didnt like. I would definitely have to say my favorite is the Going Home for Thanksgiving. They also have some really good tea I cant think of the name of it off the top of my head but the orange one is extremely good. If youve never had their sandwiches you need to go ASAP!!!

Hands down my favorite Ikes location. The Willow Pass special sammie is amazing 👏 . For vegans & vegetarians its literally sandwich paradise & I refuse to unsubscribe from emails even though I live in Portland now (comeeeeeee to Portlanddddddd we need you!!!)Get extra dirty sauce & add jalapeño poppers. I dont care what you ordered; trust me. Youll thank me for it later!I miss you already Ikes!

It looks like a huge variety of sandwiches on the wall but its mainly just chicken with lettuce and a sauce. Limited toppings mean little variety but Ikea is a nice change of pace when you want to break out of the burger rut. Not much indoor seating and be ready to wait as staff makes them very slowly compared to other sandwich shops

Great sandwiches but incredibly bad service. It boggles my mind why it would take over an hour to build two sandwiches. An hour. And I ordered them online! After sitting in the store for an additional 20 minutes watching multiple people who have walked in, ordered and received their sandwiches, I finally received my order.This is a CONSTANT problem with Ikes. They litterally cannot time anything correctly. This was the last time I order from this business. Its a sandwich man, not a six course meal.

The place itself is rather small, with a few tables inside., and about 3 tables outside with a bench that has a small table.The staff is friendly and very busy - there’s an assembly style line to make sandwiches. They’re all packed in the back working as fast as they can.I remember trying out Ike’s in San Francisco and thinking that they made the best sandwiches. They were packed full of ingredients and you can buy one and share with someone else.I ordered the local sandwich, 511 Willow - chicken, orange glaze on Dutch crunch.The sandwich came out depressingly small - and not appealing at all. I’m used stuffed sandwiches from Ike’s.. and this was terrible looking. I believe someone who reviewed prior mentioned that WC filled their sandwiches and concord didn’t do that at all.The chicken with orange sauce was good, the flavor was there but it wasn’t amazing as I had remembered. Maybe this store isn’t that great?

Always loved this place, and worth the price because it goes straight to the employees. Sandwiches are the bomb every single time, and the employees are great! I do agree its rather small location for such a great sandwich shop, but I only grab it to go. Keep it up, love this shop!

By far my favorite Ikes location. Very friendly, awesome staff. Never had any issues with my One Hundred Sandwhiches Ive gotten from here. Always clean, never out of any ingredients or bread. Love the young, cute, I believe manager with the glasses that normally works the cash register, seems to always answer the phone and probably has taken over 90% of my orders. Recommended this specific Ikes for consistency and just all around great made sandwhiches.

Ikes is a well known sandwich spot in the Bay area. Ive been to this specific location a few times over the years and my recent visit was just okay. The sandwiches are definitely smaller than what they used to be but the prices are still high. They even charge a 75cent surcharge to keep up with the costs of business and minimum wage. Obviously thats not their fault and more of a voters issue lol but nonetheless, their struggles ultimately are hurting the consumer.Every time Ive gone here theyve provided great customer service. Although Im not exactly happy with the quality of sandwiches for its high price, I think its worth going to and trying.My favorite part is they have a lot of vegan options, not just a veggie sandwich. They have vegan deli meats, vegan chicken, vegan cheese and mayo/sauces.

Ohhh mann do I love Ike’s! This is only my second experience at the chain, and I can’t wait to come back! I came in for a vegan meatball sub and that’s what I got! Staff made sure I wanted everything vegan, which I’m always glad when they confirm and are aware of what vegan is. Great experience! The meatball sub was very fresh and delicious!!

My family decided to have sandwi hes for dinner tonight....we decided on ikes...hmmm not a good idea....at least this one...we walked in and no greeting...okay...looked at the menu...decided and waited to be acknowledged...............2 women came in they were greeted before the door closed, serviced and they sat down...a woman came in with a to go order & she got greeted and serviced all while my daughter & I stood patiently waiting.......I told my daughter to come so we can spend our money some where else....Now for Carla or the woman working right now around 6pm ish...she was the rudest...checking her phone......also not looking to make sure we were ready...which we were...I guess we were treated this way because of our skin....Unless she can tell me why I watched her look at my daughter then check her phone then help the woman that walked up2 the counter where my daughter was already waiting....????? The Dutch crunch bread is seriously AMAZING. Weve always had a great experience with speedy service, parking, delicious sandwiches. Even a yummy kids selection. They even give you a lollipop with every sandwich, and when asked me how many I needed this time!

The Ikes in Concord is the only Ikes that gives me the correct. Every other spot in the bay area seems to disregard my actual order and just decide what they want to give me.So delicious and this spit has been very quick and easy to go in and order due to large parking areas.

This had long been a great place to get a great sandwich and to be able to eat with your vegan friends. If youre in a hurry and its lunch time, try to order before you go by phone. They get busy and theyre sandwiches are made to order.

Just tried the Tom Hanks Pastrami sandwich with my wife and two kids,I can easily say this was the most disappointing sandwich Ive ever had.The meat inside was so tiny,for the price I would much rather have Togos. Four sandwiches chips and drinks came to 60 dollars! For what!? It was all bread! Terrible

Ever since Ike’s left SF, it’s become a rare treat to enjoy their sandwiches. This time when I came in, I found that they’ve changed their meats and thus everything that made their spot special and different.That new halal chicken was gross and tasted like I was eating subway.Goodbye Ike’s, I’d rather remember you fondly than eat something subpar and ruins my memories.

I usually go to the Oakland location (5 stars!), but Im in Concord today so I stopped here. I asked them if they could make a Captain Kirk sandwich (it wasnt on the board, but they make it in Oakland and Berkeley) and they said they could make it! I just got it and took a bite.....NO orange sauce and NO avocado :((( Very disappointed. Please dont say you can make a specific sandwich if you are unable to make that sandwich!
