This is quickly becoming one of my go to spots for a sandwich, especially in an unfamiliar area. Huge menu and selection of sandwiches, not to mention the dutch crunch rolls are amazing.

Terrible service, completely understaffed, 10 people awaiting sandwiches with only one team member making them… Gave up and left after waiting awhile. Very unimpressive for an Ike’s location.

This is the worst Ike’s I have been to. I paid extra for the fried chicken, and it was sad, small, soggy, not enough to even fill the sandwich. The bread was very old, and not toasted at all.Save yourself money and time, and go somewhere else.

I order a veggie Sandwhich here which sounds boring. But the first time I ordered it was by mistake and I didn’t notice until the end it had no meat! 😂 it was filled with so many veggies all melted with cheese, it was good. Now I get that everything. They have delivery

I was so disappointed. I ordered take out and when I got home, my sandwich was missing half of the Ingredients. I had a very dry sandwich with no dirty sauce, no cheese, and no avocado. I only ate half of it and gave up. Normally I like Ike’s, but not today.

Nice location, great service, a huge and varied menu with vegan options. The sandwiches are high quality, among the best I have had. Definitely reminds of of great sub shops from the 70’s east coast and west. Traditional options with creative and inventive choices too.

Sandwiches are good but the wait times are often long even when no other customer is in the place. Not sure if this a staffing issue as I can only see 1 person who works the cashier and then makes the sandwiches or some error with the employees not being familiar with the menu. The place is clean and offers indoor dining, however I avoid this place when Im in a rush.

Wound up coming here from a co-workers suggestion and it was well worth it.If you arent comfortable with more unusual dining spots, maybe dont bring your mother for lunch, but if you want a helluva good sandwich? This is the place.Not only do they have tons of options, theres also vegetarian and vegan styles for many of their sandwiches, if thats your dig.

They either gave me someone else’s order, or completely messed up mine. $11 wasted. It was just 1 piece turkey, and a ton of lettuce and spicy sauce. I couldn’t even eat it.

I used to live in the bay area, and Ikes was one of the places that I missed the most. They have tons of different sandwiches and some very unique ones like the Thanksgiving sandwich. Gluten free friendly. Try the grilled mushrooms on your sandwich too!

I think this place is absolutely great. What ever you feel like having in the way of a sand witch can be served. The food is consistently good...well prepared. Its fun just watching and hearing the amazing diversity of orders being placed. Everyone sure seems to enjoy their orders...and doubt if anyone ever leaves hungry!!Phone and internet orders are always handled in a very efficient manner.

Just wanted a simple sandwich on a roll regular stuff roast beef. Try The Godfather sauce ( different kinds of mustard mix) wow that kicks up a sandwich. Thanks !!!

Ikes... the place for love, long lines, and fantastique sandwiches! Ones sandwiches have always been good tasting, mouth watering experiences, once you actually get a hold of them.Id recommend using the app to order ahead, as the lines can be quite long...

Theres definitely no shortage of options on the menu and the end results tasted like they were made of quality ingredients, including a unique sourdough roll I have not experienced elsewhere. It is an odd mix of casual but not cheap with sandwiches hovering mostly in the $8 - $12 range and they dont come with anything else for that price. Fountain drinks were $2.50 and there were some good choices for bottled beverages, chips, and other supplements. Just tables and chairs inside with a wall that has been dinged plenty of times. But, regardless of my critique, the place is clearly popular. The line was out the door the entire time we were eating our lunch. Try it. You might like it.

I have been to Ikes Place several times and The 49er is the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. The staff were also very friendly every time I went and they make your food quick! I wish we had one of these in Michigan :(

No matter which location you go to Ikes is an experience. They have an enormous selection of sandwiches with a wide variety of things you can add (my son always asks for extra bacon and has fried mozzarella sticks added).Call in advance or order on the website so you can show up and dash, they pull together food quickly but during rushes there can be a wait.

They didn’t include our chips on our take out order and we’re mediocre polite and then when I called for refund they did process it but weren’t apologetic about it. It’s not one star just because the manager did end up processing refund over phone, and that is appreciated. I’m a driver that’s just picking up an order, that was kinda BS, they coulda said hey! Don’t forget your chips! Especially after I looked at 3 of them with a blank stare since I’d never been there before and was only picking up the order for a friend that had placed it.

I love Ikes, their sandwiches really are excellent but unfortunately they do get kinda soggy fast. But that doesnt keep me away from here. This place gets busy and is in Danville next to a high school so tons of kids around all the time (and therefore some obnoxious ones) so beware. Not a good place to bring a date for example. Otherwise the food is legit af.

Man, I was so disappointed. I expected so much more. My friend and I shared the Dameon Bruce and it has ribeye, onion rings, steak sauce, and provolone. Its $11.11. You would think it would be a pretty big sandwich, but there was barely any meat. The sandwich was so sloppily put together also. The best flavor came from the sauce and the little meat that was there was tasty. I wish I had known they automatically put lettuce and tomato because it didnt work on this sandwich at all. I may or may not try this place again...I probably will and create my own sandwich and see how it goes. Maybe on a less busy afternoon the sandwich will have a little more love put into it because there wasnt much put into the one I tried today. The inside is cute and the wait isnt ridiculously long, but the employees just seem sloppy and all over the place when its hectic. If they tried just that much harder to hold it together then their finished product would be a lot more high quality.

This was the first time I ate there and it was great! The staff was very friendly and patient with me. The sandwich was absolutely delish. I got the Dutch crunch bread and it was so fresh and delicious. Definitely will go there again!

Again with w i d e variety of Ingredients i.e. Cheetos, ???I cant remember, but whoa! Bring a sense of Adventure & the TUMS. Here Id say Go with what you know.I had my usual (for like the last 30 years) PASTRAMI w/ PROVOLONE, cold deli style, on chewy french roll, everything, extra peppers, pickles & onions, NO TOMATOES. In their defense they probably dont do the standards as often, In all honesty the sandwich that was made was not the sandwich I was Expecting. Not a lot of meat, good though. they dont standard Mayo, its like mayo with Bad B O! I burped that stuff for 2 days!!! Actually they couldve brought a feed bag with crickets in it! I was with Daughter!!!! That day, was perfect to spite the sandwich! love you Kiddo!!

Ikes is a a favorite in the Bay Area, having started in SF and now its in some other states as well. I used to be a regular when they had a location on Stanfords campus as an undergrad. Look, Ikes is good when it is made well, but sometimes they dont put enough their famous dirty sauce and the bread is a bit undertoasted so you dont get that crunch and softness in the bread--as Ikes has gotten more spread out, I noticed their sandwich quality has gone down a bit. The quality of the sandwich has slightly declined in my experience--still good, but was better before. Ikes meats are nothing special, its all about the fun combinations of ingredients and the secret dirty sauce, which is a garlicky, herby type of mayo. Will update my review if things get back to what they used to be here. Definitely better than subway, but theres room for improvement

I had the Dan Marino, which is basically a tuna melt, and it was great. They have a unique but good drink selection; its one of the few places you can get Leninade. Theres tons of options with a full menu online. Not too much seating, and the parking lot is very small.
