Not too busy for an In-N-Out when I went inside but drive thru was poppin. Employees were friendly and handing out activity bags to kids. Burgers were great. Nice location.

Absolutely spectacular! My only other experience with In-N-Out was late at night, so I left unimpressed. However, they were much better at lunch time.Even though the line was long, the drive thru was operating quickly & efficiently. My wife & sister-in-law really enjoyed their double doubles. My quad quad animal style was loaded with protein & flavor. I left so full that I didn’t even eat dinner! The strawberry shake was also scrumptious.The only negative was that both the animal style & regular french fries tasted “off”. We initially thought they were stale, but realized they tasted bland because they weren’t salted.Overall, a superb experience. Just remember to ask for salt packets!

Service, as usual, was very good; no complaints. Decided to ask for the fries to be extra cooked in order for them to be crunchy. They were a little overcooked, but I think it was my fault as I asked for extra well instead of light well. Will try that next visit and see how it goes. I was a little disappointed to find only one small piece of lettuce on my cheeseburger, though. Went to the counter and asked for more, which the young man, Morgan, did without hesitation. My strawberry shake was awesome, as always. Overall, it was a good experience, and this has not dissuaded me from going there again.

We absolutely love in and out and have it every week, however this was our first time dining in side this location. I found a long wavy hair inside my burger as I took the last few bites. My son also found what appeared to be an eyelash in his french fries. I didnt complain nor expected anything, but I did bring it to employees attention.

Straight to the point, I show up dine in Friday night I order Two double doubles and regular fries. I get my order go sit down and notice the bread on both burgers are hard as a rock the meat patties are way over cooked and dry but heres the kicker the fries were buried in salt! 🤢 I couldnt even give any to my kid the sodium level was off the charts!. For the price... now I see IN N Out is getting a little greedy through out the years they are bumping up the prices little by little, for my order it was $15.89. I probably wont be going back my stomach was rumbling all night after that and it was just not a good experience at all. On a scale 1-10 In N Out in Santee 5.4

The interesting thing about this location is that it either has a long long line or no line.Double double 10/10:i get my buns extra toasted. Wow that drive thru line is buszzzy!! No doubt these guys move through it quickly as their service is outstanding.I was picking up food for 6 people and the cashier Anjolie was so thoughtful and friendly and put each persons food in their own bag... IMMEnsely helpful with our teenagers putting their grubby hands in bags when we get home ...thank you Anjolie!And then when the food came out it was a lot... John, offered to take them to the car with me.. They were so busy I felt bad but John said it was no problem... thank you John!!I love businesses that hire great people and train them well.. wonderful service!!Our burgers were amazing as were the fries... Neapolitan shake is a favorite of mine...

Delicious food as always, but what really sets this In N Out apart is the dine in service. The older gentleman working the floor went above and beyond his duties and responsibilities. He was extremely kind, told jokes, offered our kids activity packs, and talked up the owner as a kind, loving, and giving woman. Will definitely be returning and hope we see him again.

First time at In-N-Out. There are none in my area. The prices are reasonable compare to other burger joints in my area. The burger is delicious and very flavorful. Next time I’m ordering the Double-Double animal style but without lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. The fries were mediocre. McDonald fries taste better and are crispier in my opinion. I would still definitely recommend them.

Good eats. Always look forward to eating here. The double double with extra lettuce extra tomato and onions is a burger flavor bomb. You can go light and skip the bun and get protien style. They will make your burger in a lettuce wrap. A item not on the menu is grilled cheese. They are known for their animal style fries.

New in the neighborhood and happy to have iit so close, just a minute away from us!!! Its In-N-Out, so its consistent. While I personally dont like their fries, as they are just too dry inside, and there is no crisp to them whatsoever, my kids do like them, so we go there. My son loves the burgers, but usually passes on the fries as well.Their Strawberry shakes are really good, reminiscent of All Amrican Bugers shake in Massapequa, Long Island.

I went inside to order and have a meal with my wife. There werent many people inside and the cashier was training a new employee so I thought it would be a simple transaction. We ordered and when I presented a brand new gift card, the cashier took a minute to try to make it work until she gave up and tried to ask if its been used before. I just got it a couple days earlier. I didnt want to make a scene so I paid in full. I checked the site to make sure there was money in the gift card and the balance was $10. When I went back to pick up my food and there was nobody ordering, I asked another employee if there was anything we could do to fix this and they just said the machines are glitchy. Im usually laid back, but I think my situation was poorly handled.

In-N-Out burger is a place we frequently stop when wanting a quick hamburger. There are many places, as far as fast food goes that are good. Just my opinion that this is the best chain locally.The employees seem to be a cut above the normal fast food worker and take pride in their place of employment. This particular one is no different. There was one worker in particular that seemed even a cut above the rest of them here. His name was David. He seemed very caring about the costumers needs and took great pride in cleaning up the dining area. He took the extra step and is a great representative of the company!Our food was prepared quickly, it was as expected very good! The establishment is in a busy strip mall so plenty of parking is available. The interior, and exterior are both well maintained and very clean. I hate to say just another In-N-Out Burger as that sets the bar high! We have never had a bad experience in this chain and highly recommend it!

I was at the shopping center Sunday morning, the smell of fries lure me in.The staff is friendly, food is great as always.There’s this one gentlemen David, asking each table if the food is good, giving out stickers for kids and introduce they can cut burger in half in the kitchen, and made fries with or without fries from regular to extra well done.He chit chat with every table and even help the teen girls next to me with their finished meal/basket.He even open door for me when I’m was about to walk out the restaurant. David’s Charleen service is above and beyond, totally made everyone’s Sunday morning wonderful! I will come back to this location again and again!

I used to really like in and out burgers, but like all places, the quality of the food is going down. I now get the double burger lettuce wrapped with onions. While its not bad, I mainly go because I can get the fur babies meat patties without salt, and they love them. Im not a fan of their fries, so I longer get them. I dont drink soda, but I have tried their milk shakes, and they are passable, not like Jack in the box, which are good. I go every once in a while when I dont feel like cooking.

Always fresh and fast even when busy, with friendly people. We had some issues with order accuracy in the drive through in the past but the manager was eager to resolve our concerns. Now they just need to find that sweet spot for fries ordered light well. (Ideally just a little crispy, but they often end up well done... Still good though.)

Food just alright because it was cold. I was looking forward to In N Out all day so this was a bummer. The drive thru wait was too long. The line itself wasn’t very long, but it took 34 min to get from the man who took my order to the payment window. When I got to the window, they told me the payment servers were running very slowly. I understand that caused the issues, but I would have gotten out of line had they informed me of the issues and long wait times when I ordered. I will be back, but if that happens again, they should let people know.

I really like In-N-Out, and would love to give 5 stars, but my recent visit had a glaring health issue. At a table inside the restaurant, there were 2 patrons with a small dog. The dog had no vest and was not trained to be any service animal. The customers were putting the dog on the table and sharing their meal with it. I was pretty disgusted to think that a similar thing might have gone on at my table before I sat down. My table was clean-ish but had not been wiped after the last people left. I noticed other nearby customers looking disapprovingly at this as well. The reason I took a star off the restaurants rating is that I saw a dining room attendant walk by and not say anything about this. In my view, an employee should have enforced the health department codes and told them to, at the very least, put the dog on the ground, or more appropriately, dine outside. The real issue here is entitled people who think they can take their dog anywhere as if it were a child, but In-N-Out is ultimately responsible for maintaining health standards in their restaurant. On a positive note, the food was fresh and tasty, as usual.

This is my favorite in n out outside of north county. I get off of a late shift at the hospital and this particular location does not (for some reason) fluctuate the accuracy of my order, my order almost never changes, the way the new Mission Gorge location slightly butchers my order despite repeating it back to me correctly. Must be some break in communication within. Here they are accurate and Santee has a far more peaceful crowd past midnight even on the weekends unlike every location I’ve visited. I’ll drive past two In n Outs if I really want a late night burger even on the weekend and I will go to Santee for the peaceful crowd and for the accurate order and friendly staff (all In n Outs have been friendly though). Theyve figured fast casual out. Its a machine. An excellent, efficient machine. Little more. Their menu is only what it is and only what it needs to be. They cater to dietary restrictions by omission only and thats ok. Check the website, it even includes the Not-So-Secret menu for how to get the good stuff and the specifics. I prefer the fries extra crispy otherwise they get softer than I like, but others like the potato flavor and they dont salt then, but provide packets. As a note, they also are making an effort to pay their employees well and the employees seem happy enough (I see the same folks at my local spot after years and quarantine, etc.). If you dont know yet or havent tried it, their prices and service are worth a try. Also: the burgers taste good.P.S. Double double (animal style about half the time) extra crispy fries is my order

Like other In-N-Out establishments this location provides great food. The only negatives I found at this location was the very long waiting lines at peak buisness hours. As well, during these peak hours an order can be mixed up, so I suggest checking over the receipt and food! Despite this, this is one of my favorite places to eat so I would highly suggest it to anyone!

Four stars because the fries are never crispy. Theyre ok but Ive had better fries everywhere else. But the burgers are the best. Very tasty and hot. Always a long line at the drive thru though. It moves pretty quickly but still 15 to 20 minutes from the time you get in line till you pull away with your food is a long time I work nearby and half my lunch break is waiting in line at in an out 5 mins to get to an from my car leaves me just enough time to scarf my meal down and clock back in. Maybe Ill take lunch a bit early next time an be first in line. Ill let you guys know how that works next time for me.

Expect a line. The line goes fairly quickly though. Ive always had positive experiences with the staff. After paying I often ask for hats and stickers for the kids. They are free. Kids also get free hot chocolate when its raining. You do have to ask for them though. (You can also get free paper place mats as well.)There is a secret menu. Make sure to do a web search for it before going if you havent been here before. Most of my family loves the burgers animal style. (I prefer mine with grilled onions and no spread.)

Ive long felt that In-N-Out is overrated and this visit didnt change my opinion much. This particular location is always busy which is fair due to its location on Mission Gorge, but even though I waited a little while, I expected it to be longer. Orders are taken efficiently and the dual window setup helps move things along. All seating areas seem spacious, welcoming, but the outdoor area seemed particularly neat with all the pillars. I might try eating there in the future to see if it improves my rating any. My issue with INO is not with the experience though. Its with the food. Its passable in a pinch but far from my go to or a top five option. Its fine. Its mostly inoffensive. I love onions, but thats most of what I ended up tasting on my cheeseburger. Maybe thats the real reason they always seem to ask if I want onions: they overpower the taste of the rest of the burger. The fries seemed overcooked and something I rarely complain about: underseasoned. Im not a big salt or fry guy, but this particular serving was super boring and disappointing. I do like that they have an eating while driving option so that doing so is less messy and dangerous. The strawberry shake had the fake strawberry flavor Ive been looking for as of late, so thats a positive. And the area looked quite clean. I went through the drive thru, so my vantage point was limited, but things seemed well-maintained all around. In the future, I think Ill crave the experience but not the food.

Went after my son’s baseball game and have to say that it is the cleanest and best run In and out I have ever been to. My son has Celiac Ds and when we ordered we explained that his food cannot have any cross contamination with any gluten containing foods and the manager came and assured me that his food would be prepared in a clean grill and the person preparing his food would change their gloves and assured me that there would be no cross contamination. You can call their customer service and someone picks up the phone and talks to you like a human being. Its just one of the most fantastic burger places you could go to. Its relatively inexpensive. Its in and Out Burger the food is always the same this In and Out got 5 stars because a friend of myn had her car stall in the drive through so she called me cause I was waiting for her in the parking lot. I ran over and began to push her car when, you know the guy or girl that stands outside and takes your orders, well he without hesitation helped me push her car to the first window to pay then to the second window to get the food. I should also commend the people in line behind us not one person honked or yelled out their window. I never got his name but thanx again for helping that was awesome.

Great fast food place with good service, but you have to give them the giftcard first or they will use your cash first even if you hand them both. Not sure what went through their head but make sure to hand them the giftcard first. Good food and fast service

The dining area is maintained very well. The staff is efficient and friendly. Order come out faster than other In-N-Outs Ive been to. And also just like other In-N-Outs, expect it to be busy from open to close.

In-n-out is ok. Nothing special or particularly amazing about the food. I would consider them basically a Wendys clone with a much smaller selection. The reason I wont even give it 3 stars is the scriptures printed on the wrappers. Not necessary and should be removed.

Always enjoy visiting my hometown In N Out and were always greeted by their friendly employees right away. My granddaughters received stickers without even asking for them. Very attentive 💜💜

I dont know how they keep their employees so happy at In n Out but Ive never seen anyone that looked like they didnt want to be there. Everyone knows these burgers are fantastic. What else is there to say?

This restaurant was a delight! I loved the food as as always, the workers and service was of the best, and to top it all off, the environment was friendly and overall awesome. Would definitely recommend for anyone new to this place looking for some good food to dine on!

Food was good but look, place, youre in Santee and you need to account for that. You need to have wider parking spaces. All these pick up trucks need more room. Im in a regular person car, I dont need to pretend Im going to be called upon to tow a frozen mammoth or transport a bunch of soil from location to location. But when on either side are these good old boys with their rams and f150s its really a tight fit. Ive seen Blues Brothers I know whats at stake if I ding a door.

Great service. Guy named David was walking around handing out big kid stickers. Telling us they make their own fries and ketchup. I did not know they made their own ketchup

The cashier was friendly and patient as I asked him many dumb questions. The store was very clean too. Ordered a double double and it was great as usual. The wait wasnt too bad either as I chose to walk in. Ill be coming here more often for sure.

Great tasting burguers, but what comes on top off all my experience here is the service, I wouldnt believe id get that kind of attention at a fast food restaurant.
