Located adjacent to Southern Spice, the ambiance of this place is appealing, and the service is commendable. We ordered chili baby corn, garlic noodles, and Szechwan fried rice. The chili baby corn was passable, but unfortunately, we couldnt even finish the remaining dishes as they were not up to par. The food was unappetizing, lacking freshness, and even had a bitter taste.

I keep trying this place in hopes it will get better some day, but the food is just bland each time. Have to use the sauces to rescue the entrees. The fried rice is great though.Tried the lunch special, quantity was great, but taste is altogether another thing.

I dont know why this place doesnt have more stars for the rating. Food and portion size are both really good!All the food comes piping hot and the portion sizes are massive! Definitely recommend the place.All the entries come with rice on the side (good amount of rice) so think about that when ordering.Veg Hakka noodles was so light and flavorful and had a really nice taste of its own without any side dish needed!Chili Vegetables were actually VERY spicy! Dont get me wrong, I actually love spicy food and found the chili chicken (which was supposed to be spicy) a good dish. But this dish was actually hella spicy! Definitely take the rice on the side or some fried rice or haka noodles to neutralize the taste. Vegetables were cooked perfectly tender and the sauce was nice as well. Just very spicy.Loved the Chili Chicken (dry). Chicken is cooked well, not too much batter coating outside the actual pieces or anything like that. Spice level was perfect and reminded me of Chili Chicken I had at an Indo-Chinese restaurant in India. Only downside is that there were a lot of onions in the plate to fill up space. I would have appreciated more chicken in there.Chicken Manchurian was also very nice. Not super sweet, not salty, not tangy. Just a very good flavor. Good amount of gravy in there as well, and went nicely with the Hakka noodles.Husband got the Mango Lassi and it was very thick and strong mango flavor and actually super nice. I had a hard time stopping myself from finishing it up.

Overall few items tasted good. I always like paneer starters in this place and Paneer 65 tasted really good and momos are not good.We didn’t like soup, the hot and sour soup is too thick and didn’t have a taste and it tasted just like soya sauce, so we did not complete it. The Burnt garlic fried rice is OK and the Chili Garlic noodles is on the sweet side, it has average taste.

Food is great, lots of choices, atmosphere is good. Good variety of drinks on the menu. However, they are short staffed. The waitress mentioned cocktails will take a long time since she was serving many tables. But she was honest, so thats good. The other guy was helping her and was quick too. Just less people waiting too many tables. So management, please hire more people! This is a great place!

As a South Asian who has traveled to India o can vouch that this place is authentic! My favorite food is Indo-Chinese and outside of India it is difficult to find good places.My favorite food is Cauliflower Manchurian and this place did not disappoint! I felt like I was 12 eating in India, the flavors were on point.My daughter lived the authentic Hakka Noodles. This is now her favorite place, no more Panda Express. Plus she ate all of the vegetables in the noodles 😃My son wouldn’t try anything new so he had the chicken nuggets with fries which were also delicious.I ordered my husband the Chicken Butter Masala which was different then expected. Full of flavor but not as thick as we would expect. I am going to order him the Thai Red Curry next go.We were so bummed there weren’t any leftovers 😔This will be our go to for eating out. Also everything was so fresh like we made it at home😁

I have had INDO-Chinese food in many restaurants in India, Canada and USA. I found the food taste and texture average. Nothing really stands out.Even though there were only few customers the service was very limited as there were only two employees.Atmosphere is fine.

Just adjacent to Spice Garden Indian cuisine, probably by same owner or management. But this one has pan Asian cuisine. They have a menu of selection of dishes from across Asia. A few vegetarian options. But all food tasted great. A good place to try out some variety of Asian cuisine....👍🏻🙂

One of the worst fried rice and noodles I have ever had. I ordered burnt garlic chilli fried rice. Felt like they just sprayed chilli flakes on white rice and added some chicken. It lacked flavor and taste. The noodles was equally bad in taste. Never gonna order from inchins again.

I got a chilli garlic chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein. The fried rice was rice with chilli flakes not even fired and chow mein was not chow mein. The worst taste Ive ever had in the US. I would not recommend this place. I had left over rice at home, which I regret for not finishing up instead of the food that I paid and got here.This is Irvine location. The taste at Chino hills inchins is really good.

Great food with a upscale atmosphere at a quick service price. This national chain feels like a locally owned diamond in the rough. You will not be disappointed, especially if you are looking for a variety of apps, salads, entres, and desserts. Theres a touch of spice throughtout the menu. Full service bar, great decor, attentive service. The food will bring you back time and time again. Irvine needed this place!

Beware of ordering north indian food dishes from this restaurant.I made a mistake of ordering a north indian dish Paneer Labbabdar here and it is the worst tasting paneer dish by far from any restaurant serving indian cuisine.I am 100% sure that it was not eve. prepared by the chef, it was straight out of a frozen packet.Paneer was not at all eatable and gravy full of preservatives.

Excellent Indian/Chinese food. Been to the one in Dallas and Austin. The location is best one.Ordered the spring salt and pepper and the spicy shrimp. Both of them cooked to perfection. The spicy shrimp was a bit spicy but enjoyable.Will be going back.

The good: The Hakka noodles and paneer 65 was very good. The staff was very nice and accommodatingThe improvement areas: two out of four dishes we ordered didn’t taste good.Some items were very flavorless. We ordered crispy chili baby corn and we got plain fried baby corn “topped” with few onions and green peppers on top. It was flavorless and tasted like plain baby corn as if no one seasoned it at all. We’ve eaten at the inchins in Chino hills, Chicago, North Carolina and Arizona and I’m sorry to say this one is very disappointing. I’m from mumbai and I have grown up eating indo Chinese and was super excited to eat it and was soooooo let down. I sent two dishes back.

June 2023: The four of us ordered four different entrees from the Indo-Chinese portion of the menu and we all found our food to be delicious. I don’t understand the negative ratings some users have, maybe they ordered from the Pan-Asian menu and were expecting Indian food (which I don’t like) and wasn’t to their taste…. Also, to the person who complained about the chicken nuggets; who orders chicken nuggets at a nice restaurant? Their kids were probably use to eating nuggets from a fast food joint which contains everything but real chicken. Order from the Indo-Chinese menu and you’ll love it.

Their lunch combo deal is good for the price. However, I wouldn’t call it authentic indo-Chinese food. If you’re looking to explore new cuisines you should check it out but don’t go there with an expectation that you’d get the indo-Chinese flavors that North India has.

We ordered Inchin’s via doordash! The food came properly packed and steaming hot! My husband is a Mumbaikar and always has a strong craving for indo-Chinese cuisine. We are happy to say that we found a place that is mumbaikar approved! The have an excellent triple schezwan, chicken Manchurian, and schezwan momo’s! It is a bit on the pricier side, but I think next time we will go eat in the actual restaurant as I’m sure the atmosphere is worthwhile. Would recommend these three dishes to anybody with a indo-Chinese craving. Can’t wait to try more of their menu.

At Inchins Bamboo garden, we requested that due to dietary and religious reasons, we not be served halal meat and accommodate us. The staff refused to accommodate our request and stated that inchins Bamboo garden is a Halal Restaurant.The place is run by a bunch of obnoxious people who are insensitive to peoples beliefs. The food was too salty and not good. It will be a good idea to stay away from this place.

One word to describe this spot; LEGIT! The only REAL IndoChinese restaurant in SoCal. They offer a variety of dishes beyond just indo Chinese. A must visit spot. Drinks are very creative. Servers are GREAT! Outside patio sitting is also available. SouthernSpice is next to them. They serve southindian and north Indian food. Looks like they share a passage and may have the same owner.

I love the atmospheric presentation of the restaurant. However, on my palate, its just not getting me to that peculiar place of food wonder for the price point. The wow factor is missing. Disappointing Decline in Taste and Service at Inchins Bamboo GardenI have been a regular patron of Inchins Bamboo Garden, a restaurant known for its Indo-Chinese cuisine. However, I must express my disappointment with the recent decline in taste and quality, which has left me with a less-than-satisfactory dining experience.During my most recent visit, I ordered the fried rice and vegetable coins, commonly known as veg Manchurian. To my dismay, the vegetable coins were overcooked and had a bitter taste. Additionally, the portion size was disappointingly small, especially considering the relatively high prices. Its disheartening to pay a premium for a dish and receive such a meager serving.Furthermore, the staffs response to concerns about the vegetable coins was far from satisfactory. They offered no solution to the issue of the coins soaking up all the curry, resulting in dry coins. To add insult to injury, they demanded an additional $5 to make the dish slightly soupy. This pricing strategy felt unjustified and left a negative impression.The lack of proper utensils, particularly the shortage of medium-sized plates, was quite unpleasant for take out orders. The ambiance may be pleasant, but it cannot compensate for the unfriendly service and subpar food quality. It is concerning that the restaurant does not take responsibility for any mishaps, often report absence of the manager, whenever you ask for one.Inchins Bamboo Gardens inconsistency in taste and service is disheartening. The only reason they seem to survive is the absence of nearby competition. However, once a new competitor emerges, I have no doubt that their decline will be permanent.Overall, I regret to say that I can no longer recommend Inchins Bamboo Garden based on my recent experiences. The restaurants deteriorating taste, portion size, and service quality overshadow any positive aspects, making it a less-than-desirable dining option.

They have an online ordering system with covid and I placed an order for veg momos instead of chicken on accident. Immediately informed the waiter who ran to the kitchen to correct the order with the chefs. He comes out 2 mins later saying they’ve already started cooking it. Although it was hard to believe and the momos are priced $7 for 3 momos (lol), I didn’t want to argue so I just said okay. And then they bring this plate out with Luke warm, undercooked, torn momos that tasted like a recipe for an upset stomach. Even their chili chicken gravy and chicken 65 were not good. Worst experience of my life. Never going again here. We waited 45 minutes after ordering food and after multiple follow-ups they told us that our food was delivered to another table by mistake. We then ordered again and after 20 mins they gave us a stale soup and still no sign of food. Overall we wasted 70 minutes of our Friday eve and then left without having dinner. We ordered to pick up lunch - they had a weekday lunch special ordered. The pick up time given to me was 1245-1pm. When I reached, I saw that there was already a group of people waiting. The girl working there told me that everyone standing there was waiting for their order and that my order would take another 15 minutes. 40 minutes later, they still needed a few more minutes to ready my order. When i asked for her supervisor to come out, the supervisor told me that my, and another customers order, could be made ready in 2-3 minutes. We had been waiting for nearly an hour by then, so what gives? Was he waiting for us to complain to him in person to start making our order?Another customer was waiting for 2 spring rolls, that this supervisor said was already ready but for reasons only hed know, he didnt pack and send out.Anyway, I then checked the other to-go orders that they were bringing to the table up front. There were orders with a pick up time of 130PM that was being given, while orders with a pick up time of 1230pm and 1245pm hadnt been made yet. It looked like orders were processed in a last-in-first-out manner. As if they picked up the most recently placed orders but forgot about the ones that were placed before.It might be that the place was severly understaffed or that their kitchen management system is just broken. Either way, it was a frustrating wait on a weekday.What made this worse? The chicken manchurian I had ordered wasnt cooked. They gave out barely cooked chicken. The gravy tasted bad, too. The other bowls in the order were very tasteless as well. They wont pick up the phone to give me a refund because that was money and time entirely wasted.Id recommend avoiding - your money is better spent elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could.

The server Alex he was very helpful and friendly he helped us with choosing our dishes since it was our first time in the restaurant and the manager Oscar was super friendly and welcoming he kept checking on us to see if we need anything.Definitely going to visit again.

Awful service; terrible experience. There were not that many people in the restaurant when we arrived with lots of empty seats. We waited in front of the door as the sigh said to be seated. After 10 minutes waiting, no body came to greet us or seat us. I went to the one of the waiters. He said you can go and seat but kitchen is behind and have to wait 20 minutes before we take your order. And we agreed. He came and took order in about 20 minutes. But then food took another 1.5-2 hours to come. First my son’s food came. It took another 30 minutes before my wife’s food come and then another 15 minutes mine came and then another 10-15 minutes till my daughter’s food come. Would never go back there …

Ordered paneer 65 and burnt garlic fried rice and it was great and freshly cooked.Ordered chicken 65 and Chicken Biryani today and this was the worst chicken biryani I had so far in my life.. there was absolutely no spices or taste and the chicken pieces tasted like raw and stale. It looked like a green peas rice and chicken pieces just added in there. Very disappointed and I don’t think I would order again.

This was my Mom and myselfs first time here. The food was terrible cafeteria heat lamp tasting. We ordered it to go and while we waited ordered a glass of wine. The guy who poured it didnt know what he was doing. He poured an inch pour (basically a taste) of Cabernet and A Merlot in a Chardonnay glass. Then charged us $14 each. I have never felt so ripped off. The Cabernet was terrible and had turned it had been opened for to many days sitting out. When the bill came for a cup of soup, two small orders of dumplings which were hard, dry, tasteless and terrible and they gave no sauces. As well a small rice and two of the tiniest boxes of honey chicken ever we were shocked at $110.00 for nothing food that made us all sick to our stomachs that night and all the next day. The atmosphere was creepy, dark and depressing as well . Never again I would give this place negative stars if I could.

Has nice decorations. Ambience is good. Food is quite expensive. Quality and taste is average. I had been to this place before Covid and the food was really good but seems post Covid it has taken a toll. Food was not tasty at all except one of the curries we had ordered. This is our first and last time here. I drove from Santa Monica. 45 mins+ drive and arriving at 9:22 pm on Saturday night. The waiter took us inside to give us the seat for three people. Update from Feb 2022 : This is the 3rd time we went to dine in (was lunch time on a weekday and barely any tables were occupied). We had to wait for 25 mins after giving our orders and except water, not even our appetizers were served. The only server was gone for too long and we didnt know whom to check with? .. When he came back after 25 mins we asked about the delay and he responded by saying that they may need 10-15 mins more as a they were attending the food inspector. When we asked that why didnt he tell this to us before, he acted clueless and returned to the kitchen. Obviously we had to leave after cancelling our order as we had to go back to work.... This 3rd time of a bad experience tells me that the restaurant owners really need to work badly on their service .. Again I am saying this: The food is nice and tasty, but DO NOT WASTE Your precious time if you plan to Dine-in... The food was also very bland and oily, being deep fried and did not enjoy the food, looks like the food was not even fresh. The appetizers like the baby corn was good, this is why it earned 2 stars. I had a very bad experience about their food and the service and not at all happy. My guest had ordered some fish dishes and the fish wasnt fresh. The service was equally bad. There was nobody serving our table for quite some time and the runners bringing the food didnt know what the dishes they brought to the table and they often brought wrong dishes of some other table to us which we had to return. To top it, they did not let us know that the kitchen is closing (which is normally the practice) and they told us this only when we asked for some desert. All in all, the overall dining experience was pretty bad.

This franchise is my favorite restaurant in the country... have been a regular at their Dallas and SF locations. I was definitely thrilled when I first heard about them opening another location in Irvine, but what a disappointment! Went there Saturday evening and it was in a total chaos, Worse than a fish market. The manager was behaving extremely rudely with guests. There is no established process (organization, management) when it comes to check-in. The waiting area was packed with confused guests who are waiting to know if he knows that they are waiting! No sign in sheet, no Order or method to noting down guests, wait-times, reception... the manager was so bad... he would rudely behave with future guests, turn them away and then would just go away inside the restaurant. We left after waiting for 15 mins to another restaurant.The manager has totally killed such good reputation of Inchins bamboo franchise. If corporate doesnt take notice, it will be extremely hard for this place to survive in Irvine. Not worth it at full price ~$14/dish - the coupons for buy one get one free coupons but id still be hesitant to go back. Service was very slow entire time - half the time was looking for someone to wave down for basic service. Had to wait over 10 mins to wave someone down to pay for the bill, and another 10 mins to get it processed. They didnt offer to box our leftovers for us. Manager doesnt seem to understand the stated needs of his customers - he weirdly chit chatted with us about knowing we needed to leave soon which prevented us from eating, weirdly noted we were smiling (i was smiling cause i finally got food when i was hungry, but sadly was soon dissappointed by the flavors) and didnt ensure our check got cleared quickly. Im usually happy when food is in front of me at any point in time - thus pretty rare I am notably disappointed, so this is a pretty big deal for me - so much so that the friend i was originally disapponted couldnt make it to dinner, i was soon glad he didnt make it to dinner. Decor is very muted but some of the art work is interesting. I dont know if they had an off day across the board - but more staff and training would do some good. I wouldnt chance this place for lunch - whether with clients or coworkers - unlikely i could count on get out of there in time to get back to work. Id try other dishes, if i could spare 2 hours. Went into the restaurant with my wife for lunch today. I had about 45 minutes available for lunch. Waited in the front for almost 10 minutes before ever seeing an employee. The server asked me if you need more you have to pay more. So we went to try out Inchin Bamboo in Irvine. we stood for a while before the hostess came to take our name. She said they had been open for a week & simply could handle the crowd. At that time we decided to leave. Wow! Ordered a pickup on call and have been waiting for over 10 minutes on the counter. Despite the staff spotting me, and restaurant been literally empty, there is no one to help.The employee once there to help was unapologetic and very rude. No more inchins bamboo.
