7/16/23 Sunday very good location adjacent to Travelodge. Ordered Heineken beer, meat samosas, karahi chicken n garlic naan. Food taste was average. Will try more menu items next visit.

YUM! Perfect on a chilly or cold day. Quiet, small buffet side (opens to another side for big events), simply tasteful interior, very reminiscent of Fatepur Sikri and other beautiful places in India. Great service, small selection but delicious. We appreciate the complimentary chai drink.This Palace sits inside an unimpressive looking Travelodge exterior. Why...?Anyhoo, nutritious, flavorful, energetically warming yumminess.$14.95/person.Bon apetit!Enjoy the dahlia outside.

Stopped in for lunch buffet definitely did not disappoint. Great price for ayce and great quality of food. Ive been coming here for years always fresh ingredients used. The ambiance and vibe is spot on. Keep up the good work. Mango lassi is a must with your meal or the Chai tea on a rainy day sure to warm you up.

I’ve given this place many tries, with hopes that it will improve, but it just gets worse. If you show up to the buffet 45mins to an hour after opening, you’ll be paying full price for the dregs. They don’t refill the buffet items regardless of how many customers continue to show up. The servers are rude and tend to hover around you while you’re serving yourself. If an item completely runs out you’re basically hosed because they will not replace it. The food is not bad, not great but acceptable. That is if, you get to try it.

Very good experience, had samosa, pakora as appetiser and Malai Kofta, Saag Paneer, Matar paneer and Chicken for entree. Chapati and garlic naan as breads. Food was delicious and atmosphere was good too. Would recommend to come here again!

I just now got 2 garlic naan and chicken makhni gravy. Was perfect taste and freshly cooked. Its not over priced. The person who took my order was nice and quick to note down my order. Will definitely try again when I’m in SF again!

Hands down the best Indian food Ive had in recent years. I visit this restaurant around 2 to 3 times per month and always during buffet hours (hours posted on their website). The food never disappoints, from the lamb to the tandoori chicken (and all points in between) simply excellent dining. Generally they have a few meat options, vegetarian offerings, fresh naan and a few sides to top things off. The all you can eat buffet is a steal at $10.95. Modest, quaint atmosphere. Very unassuming. ..highly recommend this place.

The food here is amazing. Flavourful, rich, and so authentic. I don’t know what they put in it, crack? Portions are generous, the atmosphere is cozy and laidback, the staff and owner are friendly and it’s just a hidden, unexpected gem.Baby (8-month old) chowed down my creamed spinach and chicken dish as well as the insides of my samosas. 😂

My boyfriend and I visited this sweet little Indian spot three times over the course of a three-day stay nearby. The food was consistently good for two dinners and a lunch buffet. The space was peaceful, beautifully decorated, and immaculate, and the service beyond friendly. We would come back any time, and highly recommend!

The food was very good. The lamb korma was awesome. It has a unique decor, very comfortable, with a window into the kitchen so you can watch the grilling. The service was very attentive. They were very helpful accommodating my wifes dietary needs.

Ive been eating at this place for the last 20 years and the owners are the same since. The food has not change in quality and the buffet is a must have on any day from 11am to 2 pm the best. Now if you want to impress the ladies the dinner will cost you a bit more but the food is still amazing. The location is old, but the kitchen is always very clean.

So I came from LA and in Little India there is a local Indian buffet restaurant that I go to called Ashoka. I would rate that a 3 star. This restaurant reminds me of it but it is so much better. The staff are so friendly and remind me of home and they are so nice too. The garlic naan is so delicious and the buffet options are amazing! Definitely coming back here when I come back to SF. 👍🏽

Service was slow - it took quite a while to get our order taken. The food, however, was excellent though the portions are small and everything is somewhat pricey. It is adjacent to a hotel so convenient for guests. We had the shahi korma, tandoori sampler, shrimp saag, biriyani, and naan. The korma especially was very good.

Truly the best Indian food in southern Marin County! For those that have not tried it, the Navaratan Korma is a buttery, peppery wonder. Excellent naan, rich flavors, great service. All this in a restaurant housed in a beat-to-$&#@ Travelodge off 101 that Id never spend a night in.

Had the mixed grill dish. The food was over cooked and the vegetables on the sizzling platter were burnt! Lucky I had a soda to wash it down. Service was slow and it was to dark to read the menu. I and several others had to use our flashlight from our phone to read the menu. My wife ordered the Tika Marsala chicken and that was good..

Doesnt look like much from the outside, but its well staffed, welcoming and a window into the kitchen lets you see the naan and tandoor oven roasting process. My rice and lamb with creamed spinach was good. Super tender lamb. The pistachio ice cream was especially good and unique.

Some of the best Indian food I have had outside of India. Run by a lovely Indian family serving traditional northern Indian cuisine, this place is truly a hidden gem in the area. East to get to, plenty of parking (located inside a Travelodge) and reasonable prices.

I just got a biriyani for take out and surprised that biriyani doesn’t come with raita. It’s annoying and the 1st time i heard so and the quantity is just good for one person for $16 and it neither tastes great not looks appetising.

Consistency is the best way to describe IPR. It has consistently watery but pretty tasty Sag Paneer. It has pretty good CTM (chicken tikka masala). It has really good nan. You get the point. Its a quiet little place that you can count on. Its quirky as they have live music on Mondays (I believe thats the day). Its nice Indian background music played by nice Chinese gentlemen. Again, quirky but cheap and tasty. Keep your expectations in check as it is in a motel.
