My family and I had the opportunity to eat at Indian Tandoori kingdom on their opening night.You are greeted with smiling staff who know exactly what every dish’s ingredients are.The food was amazing, every dish we had left us in awe.The decor was tastefully done, the customer service deserves 5 stars, as well as the food.I would definitely recommend this restaurant all to try.It will be one of your new favorite places.

The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, with rich and authentic flavors. The Naan bread was particularly amazing – fresh, warm, and perfectly baked. A great place for a satisfying Indian meal. Highly recommend!

We stopped here for lunch as we were passing by Santa Barbara.Good ambiance, service and food.Tried their Lamb Saag (greens), Malai Kofta, Rack of Lamb and Tandoori Chicken with Tandoori Roti and Naan.Food was delicious and they serve generous portions.

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet. Quality Indian food with amazing taste, deep traditional flavors and texture, not to mention the service, Babli did an outstanding job and I think every employee came up to my table at least once and they were busy. Chicken Korma Spicy, Garlic Naan, Mango Chutney, Papadam, Onion Bhaji, Masala Chai. I had a bit of everything and I can’t wait to come back for more.

This restaurant blew us away! We (3 people) went here expecting average Indian food but this restaurant was amazing! The servers were very nice and came around with our drinks very quickly. The service was a tiny bit spotty and it took a bit longer than we expected to get our food but once it arrived it was the best Indian food we have ever had! You have to try the vegetable korma dish it is the best thing ever. We definitely overate a bit haha. Once we were done we asked for the bill and it came in at ONLY 45 DOLLARS?!?! That is unheard of for 3 people at a very nice dinner place. Amazing servers, amazing food, amazing restaurant. 10/10 would recommend!

Im a huge paneer fan so I ordered The Paneer Pakora as well as the Paneer Tikka, and I was definitely not disappointed. I could tell my food was fresh, it was flavorful, and being Indian myself it felt like I was back home. The Garlic Naan was crisp and flaky but had a soft and most interior. The mango lassi didnt even make it home it was so good I drank the whole thing while driving. The service was phenomenal, a clean and beautiful restaurant as well, I have nothing bad to say.

After our wonderful UC of Santa Barbara Campus visit, we fell up in Indian Tandoori Kingdom as a delightful treat!!! OMG, to say that we cleaned our plates is an understatement about the DELICIOUS FOOD SERVED. Service with Babli Sharma & other workers was inviting, engaging & friendly. The restaurant is clean, spacious, with nice fixtures & pleasant vibrant pictures. We order a plate to go after being stuffed with their delicious lunch special. Nice touch with the meal prepsration displayed within glass incasing visible to see. 💯% 🎯😎 ✔️

Its still birthday season in my friends group and last nights request was for Indian food. It was nice to see a new place in SB and we were eager to try it out and support a local business. The staff was friendly, it is a new restaurant so be patient. F&B is a demanding industry, double that if youre a new location. When you walk in youre instantly met with fragrant aromas coming from the kitchen, and the decor is very nice with some brightly colored prints of food and people. One of our dinner guests was vegetarian and there are dozens of items on the menu available. The basmati rice (personal fave) was aromatic and delicious and Im going to enjoy my leftovers for breakfast this morning. We had three appetizers and ordered 5 entrees with drinks and the price was very reasonable, I thought it was going to be quite a bit more, it would have been worth it. I spoke with one of the owners who also happens to be a full time grad student at UCSB and complimented him on the restaurant. I wish them well!

Placed a complicated order while driving. The person who took my order was very patient and took my order down correctly. About 5 minutes later the Chef called me to confirm my complex order & even made some suggestions on how to improve the dishes.He was very thoughtful and considerate. The food was delicious! Big props to the Chef, even though he was busy he took the time to call me. Says a lot about how much he cares about the food he is making, & the satisfaction of his guests.

Super new place here on state street. Was looking for something warm and flavorful and it really delivered. The vegetable pakora was something to remember. The chutney was flavorful and the perfect pair for some crispy pakora! We ordered Butter chicken (mind blowing, really recommend) and a spicy version of the chicken tikka masla (fair warning is sure is spicy but delicious). The chicken was to die for! The naan was very fresh too! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for some yummy indian food on state street. Would consider ourselves connoisseurs of Indian food, or certainly British Indian food, from UK. My go-to dishes are Chicken Madras or Chicken Chettinad. This would be Chicken Madras with a tomato/onion-based sauce, quite spicy with lemon juice. I said to the staff member when browsing the menu before ordering that I like these dishes normally - are they able to do something like this, or can she recommend something similar, and she said Chicken Tikka Masala... that would be creamy and medium hot - not really anything like Madras or Chettinad. I said I dont want creamy and I want spicy, and she then said Vindaloo - but Vindaloo is very thin sauce and just HOT generally, no other flavor. So I went for a plain Chicken Curry and specified hot. It was medium-hot Id say but had very little flavor. Good portion size, but no real flavor that I could describe. Given the amazing reviews, I am disappointed. My wife had similar feeling with her Saag Aloo - tasty but odd, pungent and too much asafoetidaWe will be back! but, I hope we can get to something better. DEFINITELY want to feed back that Madras and Chettinad are must have dishes on the menu, strongly recommend that.

Babli Sharma helped me out tonight. I had come here before once and found that the food was too acidic and gave me a stomach ache. I thought I’d give it another chance. I ordered something different, hoping that it would be milder. It was also very acidic, and somewhat spicy even though I requested mild. Babli was nice enough to provide me with raita on the house for me, which I hoped would ease the acidity. Hopefully I won’t have a stomach ache tonight.

I came to try Dal makhani as posted in the listing on Google maps but what I got was totally different. It felt misleading as the stock pictured used don’t represent the actual food. The Dal picture I’ll use is from one of the other customer reviews in this section as I forgot to take the picture while I was eating. Not visiting again.
