A very pleasant surprise in downtown Burbank to find a nice Indian restaurant.This nice variety serves some good favorite Indian dishes that you would be familiar with. The spices are not plenty, but certainly enjoyable. Medium heat is average and may be geared for the new thus choose accordingly if you are more adventurous.The decor is toned down and a bit dark. The dining room dated and odors are well situated from their long history at this location. The pricing is reflective of all this and is very good value.You will be well satisfied.

The food is reliably good. We had 4 different dishes and liked them all! The service was friendly and helpful and answered all our questions. Im gluten-free (celiac) and could enjoy most items on the menu. The tandoori mixed grill was tasty. Check them out if youre in Burbank.

Adter reading a review of their all you can eat lunch buffetband howvit is the best 1 in Los Angeles, i couldnt wait to go. However, i was disappointed!The variety lacked.The whole buffet was no more than a dozen items. The veggie options were oy rice, naan brwad was flavorless, and the other 2 items were forgetable.My friend was very pleased and thought it wasna great deal.Mayve so, but i wont be back.Also, the floors were kind of dirtynand the staff wasnt very nice.

TOP TOP TOP NOTCH NORTH INDIAN CUISINEI came here Little hesitant, after reading the reviews I felt this is going to be risky, but when I came with my family and we ordered almost everything on the vegetarian menu, WE WERE MIND BLOWN !!!!!!The food all of them were freshly made, the portions were Well sized, their chai masala was definitely one of the best chais ever we have tried. We mention about our experience every single day, no joke, we are coming back again for sure.

This place was the perfect meal I was looking for! The tables are clean and the people serving are super courteous. The food was delicious and everything came out fast and correct. We ordered the dinner for two which comes with samosas, two curry dishes, tandoori chicken, naan bread and rice. It was so good and there was plenty to take home. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely be stopping by again!

Very friendly staff and you cannot beat the price for lunch menu at 8.99 for my Saag paneer. The picture doesnt do the flavor justice. Everything is freshly cooked and very flavorful. Mango Lassi is also very good.

My wife was craving some Indian food so I decided to check out the neighborhood to see if there were any good spots around. I placed an order for a Biryani and Combination menu item and was hoping to be impressed. I drove to the restaurant which is about 10 minutes from place. I was surprised to see the place was literally empty. I asked about my order and they said it would be around 20 min or so for it to be ready. I walked around for about 20 min and returned to the place. I picked up the food and was hoping to be amazed. Upon my return, I opened up the food and was surprised. The quantity of the food is not that great. The combination platter was not impressive at all. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the shrimp was good and the fish was good. However there was a lot of yellow turmeric in the sauteed onion and green pepper. The rice in the biryani was mushy and not the basmati rice that it should be the flavor was ok but I was thoroughly disappointed in the food at this place. I have tasted much better food from other small joints. I would not recommend this place.

A gem of a restaurant hidden amongst a row of other restaurants. They have a huge menu of Indian food: starters, veggies and meat and you can ask for it to be spiced as you want. The food was fresh and tasty and was prepared quite quickly. The prices are reasonable for the location and the staff are very friendly. There is ample seating but parking maybe a issue at busy times. Will definitely visit again.

Okay so I know there’s two Indian restaurants within a block and one is bigger with celebrity pictures and whatever… but THIS place is INSANE. Best Indian food I’ve ever eaten hands down. I am of East Indian descent and let me mention that the highly popular chicken tikka masala dish is supposed to be made from chunks of seasoned, marinated white meat chicken broiled in a charcoal-fired tandoor which is a special type of cooking oven. Nearly all dishes advertised as chicken tikka masala are actually chicken cooked directly in masala sauce and are almost always overcooked. Chicken tikka is delicious and juicy. So when I arrived, I asked to order the sauce on the side which would require the restaurant to actually make the chicken tikka in the tandoor. The server said okay and then I received a bill for chicken tikka grill $12.99 on a silly sizzling platter (like fajitas but tikka is not cooked on the platter) and a bed of onions and green bell pepper which makes no sense to me since this is not a traditional presentation. This is more like modified to mimic Latin food? Unknown why they do that, it is nonsense. Then the bill had $7.99 for the sauce! All I asked for was sauce on the side so I knew that they were broiling the chicken in the tandoor. Service was sedentary but friendly.

Introduced children to Indias eateries and stumbled upon this gem... At least once upon a time it offered a buffet, all you can eat. Many treats one ould only try because of the buffet, and it was conducive to the American palette. Great food, sauces, even the deserts were good.Not sure when it happened but the flavor is not as rich, the tandoori chicken received the last two times looked as though they were secure from a used chicken farm. Not excited about the meal for two especially ordering 2meals for two to ensure enough food for 4.5 people.And be fore I close, yes I would order again, best Indian in the neighborhood...Open to suggestions. Great value for delicious food. Went in a Sunday for the lunch buffet and the place was packed. The vegetarian dishes are great. I recommend their chai tea. I appreciate that the buffet items have been tuned down in terms of spice for a Western taste. The staff was efficient and attentive. They didnt say a lot, but as this is a self serve buffet it is okay. It was a good choice for hot food on a cool rainy day.

As my dad and I entered the restaurant, we were greeted with a sour attitude from the waiter. The waiter wasn’t helpful at all as we were trying to order. It then took them over an hour to prepare our food. While we waited, an argument between the staff and other costumers started to get heated. Then our food finally arrived- it was overpriced, over cooked, and tasteless. Overall it was a sad and costly experience. There are better places to spend your time.

Beware-they do not have a BUFFET. I called and asked if they were doing a buffet and how much it is. They said they were had a lunch buffet until 3pm and it was $9.99. I havent had an Indian buffet since before the pandemic started, so I drove all the way over there. When i got there, he told me that their definition of a buffet is the guest orders something off the menu and gets one plate of food with no refills. I asked him if he knew the definition of buffet and that saying he was offering a buffet was actually lying. They were nice and apologetic, but insist on calling this offering a buffet so be careful out there!

Food was unexceptional and over-priced. My guest and I received a rice dish with a long hair sitting prominently on the plate. When we bought this to the attention of the server, it was greeted with a shrug. Overall the place seemed lacking food hygiene, and the male server should undergo a lesson in fingernail cleanliness - his were filthy. We left an entire rice dish uneaten, and were not offered a deduction on the $70.12 bill. I cannot recall when I last left zero on the tip section of the bill, but thats exactly what I did on this visit to Indias Tandoori-Best.

The food is tasty, specially if you know what to order. I prefer the traditional North Indian food here, as they cook it better than other things on the menu. They sometimes have buffet (all you can eat) on weekends which is good and value for money. But the thing I would rate very high and recommend people to try here is the aloo paratha ( stuffed potatoes inside a flour bread). It is as good as some of the best places, back in India. The chicken Manchurian appetizer is equally yummy.

If u r looking for authentic north indian food in LA then u must visit Indias Tandoori best restaurant. Lunch buffet is reasonably prices (USD 14 only) and u get a good spread of vegetarian as well as non vegetarian food. If u r not very hungry then u can go for Ala carte menu which is also reasonably priced. Butter chicken is yummy and u must try prawn Biryani. Excellent location. The place is little bit noisy in evening. The staff is very friendly and the owner Mr. Mangal Singh is a thorough gentleman. I just love this place and during my 10 days stay at Burbank i was visiting this place almost everyday.

Came here on a Wednesday for their $9.99 buffet. Let me just tell you that this place is amazingggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!! every single food item on the buffet taste fresh and just so delicious. Mostly everything is with Curry so if you are like me that LOVES curry you should defiantly visit this place. The décor is nice and the tables are so comfortable. The staff is all so nice. I come and destroy the lunch buffet about twice a month. I try not to eat out too much but I rock out hard when I come here. They have the steady staples of Chicken Tikka Masala, Curry Vegetables, Saag Paneer, Tandoori chicken. They alternate in coconut chicken, butter chicken and a couple others depending on the day. They run it till 3 but get in at 230 or sooner to fully utilize your time. Ive been coming to this spot for a year and havent had an issue with service or food. And to top it off, theyll bring out a fresh basket of naan if you ask. Worth waiting a few minutes for and the guys that work there are some cool dudes. Just keep it at 11.95. The prices have changed for the lunch buffet since first coming here but considering the quality and service, its still well worth it to me.

I LOVE Indias Tandoori! The quality and variety are great.Im able to find the traditional stuff I know, but also branch out and try new things. If you like spice, you can find it Vegetarian options like the delicious VEGETABLE SAMOSA starter, or SAG PANEER. My favorite is the classic CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA, or its spicier cousin CHICKEN MAKHANI. Add Rice and Naan to round out the meal. If you are interested in a sweet to end your meal I suggest you try KULFI, which is less sweet then traditional American ice cream but worth checking out.Delivery before and during covid is always fast, and friendly. I highly recommend!

I ordered using their online service for pickup. The ease of ordering and paying online was exceptional. I will probably use it again in the future. My to-go order was packaged very well. All the khormas and rice were packed in lidded food-safe plastic containers. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the x2 sag paneer, vegetable in coconut curry, x5 naan, and x2 rice. I made my own tandoori chicken at home along with a huge pot of biryani. Rudest employees Ive ever encountered. I drove 25 min to the restaurant to pick up our food, after leaving my online order (thru Seamless) and getting not one--but THREE--confirmations. I get there, and they do not have our food. In fact, they have ZERO record of my order. Then the staff start SCREAMING at me, telling me they dont work with Seamless, saying it was MY fault. I had seen the confirmation of my PayPal funds go thru, so the next 20 mins are spent on the phone with PayPal, absolutely starving, trying to get my $ refunded. What a disaster!!!! Excellent lunch buffet! Their chicken tikka masala is my favorite from any place in the San Fernando Valley that Ive tried so far. I also really enjoy their saag paneer and chana masala.Parking can be a little tricky. I usually do a pass of the front of the restaurant to see if Ill get super lucky (I usually dont). Then I go around the corner to one of the free Burbank garages that you can find both up and down Orange Grove.

Good budget buffet lunch - just make sure you dont go outside normal lunch hours, or the food can be stale and overcooked.My fav is definitely the palak paneer, or the chicken tandoori. Oh, and if you opt for some salad, they dont have dressing - but the yogurt sauce does make a good substitute.
