Awesome food cooked and served with so humbleness and care. What else one can have when you are with your special guests. We were a party of four tired and hungry punjabis looking for some good food from one place to another and coincidentally reached a best place in LA where all the ordered items were so tasty, place was so clean and people were so nice. Guys know their job. Would definitely like to revisit. God bless you guys, keep it up.

First we chose a slow time to go. We didnt need to rush on our Very First visit. The Menu is large & extensive. They providedall the support we needed.As I am writing this I have to saythe we all agreed that every dishhad just the right spicing.The aromas were wonderful and the taste complex and sweet when it should be. We dined in and I saw long tables to seat many.Last I think take out is a good idea if it is very busy. 😋 bub

Very nice greetings and service. Will be back for sure. I have come back since last post. Love the buffet and choices especially the lamb, amazing melt in your mouth and curry flavors galore. I also love their ice tea. Friendly customer service, waiters always touching tables asking if everything okay or if you need anything else? I like that, yes, please check on your customers. A family restaurant, when I arrived there were over 5 sets of family enjoying the buffet. Youll enjoy, truly.

The garlic naan was super good. Overall, the portions were average-sized, the food was delicious, the service was acceptable, and the pricing was fair.I did feel a bit rushed to order. Not sure if it’s a cultural thing or if our server was impatient or was having a rough day… wasn’t a huge deal but it wasn’t ideal either when you are expected to tip at these sit down restaurants.Easy to find parking in the back and it was free so that’s a plus for sure.I’d safely recommend this for a quick solid Indian meal.

Tried the lunch buffet here ona sunday afternoon.Good spread, excellent service, friendly staff and quite an aura created by the owner.This was a good lunch considering the options around. I loved the tandoori chicken, samosa and the goat curry.Veg options were dal makhani, saag, aloo matar and channa masala . The food was homely, not spicy and felt like could use some zing.Mango lassi is a must order. Perfect flavors.Buffet on the weekend is $18 that includes a drink.

I went to this restaurant yesterday with my family and we ordered a chicken and a vegetarian dishes. The taste of the veg dish was good but I was disappointed with the taste of chicken. The chicken was under-cooked and also it had too much of food color. The naans (tandoori roti) were really good and well cooked.I would give full stars to service. The servers were warm and polite. They greeted and paid attention to our requests. The ambience is good and it gives a fine-dine experience.

Good stop for Indian food. Huge range of Indian food. Rotis could be more softer. Biriyani yummy. Must try afternoon buffet. Lassi was sour. Slightly higher price. Good hospitality and nice ambience. All the staff are extreme helpful and very obedient. Parking too was easier. Liked Indian tea/chai.

Food: I got the paneer masala and it was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Savory and enough for two.Service: Nitin was extremely attentive and friendly. I worked here in 2015 when Lakhwinder was the owner, I’m not sure if the management has changed ever since or not but I won’t lie, I learned a lot from working here. I was a server so I served food to customers. The food is just amazing & I got to work with some amazing & hard working people, if you’re looking for some Authentic North Indian food then you have to come here.

I am from the UK and we have much much more Halal food options than the USA, and I am very fussy when it comes to authenticity in the taste of food as I was yet to find something as good as home. This was absolutely perfect and just like my home food. Although they claim to be an Indian restaurant, in reality this is Pakistani food owned by Pakistanis I believe, and the food was simply amazing. I was staying at a hotel just outside of LAX, they delivered right to my hotel door in less than an hour. Came with plates, cutlery and plenty of sauces. The portion was also huge, plenty for 2 people. Thank you so much, I travel to the USA regular so I will be back for sure. My usual fav in LA was Al-Watan, but these guys have just won my business as the food was much better!

The wait staff is very friendly, quick, and professional. However, that can never make up for the relatively poor food (when compared to similar restaurants). The curry almost tasted watered down, the naan was practically crunchy, overall not what I’m accustomed to.I wouldn’t go as far as to call it “bad”, just not good enough for me to come back. I will get my Indian hankering satisfied at preferred alternatives.

We found this place accidentally and was surprised that they were open so late at night. They welcomed us in and served us pretty quick. The waiter was very professional, attentive and friendly. Our food came out in less than 15 minutes. My tandoori chicken was very moist and flavorful. Too bad were not locals because this place would have been a new favorite for me.

Excellent flavors! We were starving and decided to stop by in Manhattan Beach for something new. We were greeted very kindly and the space was very comfortable and open. Best Indian food in Los Angeles and the South Bay. Ordered catering twice for my daughters and then my sons birthday. All the food was delicious and the guests raved about it nonstop. Ive Loved Indian food for decades, but Ive been very disappointed in most of the Indian restaurants close to me. This restaurant is actually quite good. Northern Indian food, well prepared and well spiced. I had the lunch buffet, so I could try a lot of their dishes. Everything was delicious. Its a relaxing dining room, too.

If you like and know the REAL taste INDIAN FOOD, this is the place one should 100% avoid.Tried out Biryani in this place during my recent LA trip, the Biryani was soggy, looks like sambar rice and tasted horrible. OMG, such a stu**d owner who cant treat her customers well and has a big ego for god knows what. I would give 0 stars if I can for her attitude and her service. The owner shouldnt be in this business. So disappointed. She should learn how to provide customer service from the other local restaurants. Charged us for the greasy (oily) and stale food we didnt eat and refused to correct the bill. She humiliated us by blabbering something nonsense out loud when there were 10s of other customers around her.Food was okayish too. I will have it only if I didnt have other options. This has been a great place to order dinner for delivery for 8 years or so.In the last year something changed. Could be covid lockdown difficulties or staff shortages etc.The last two times we ordered we had a lot of issues.The food was cold, and the delivery took two hours. Grubhub. Aside from being cold, the Naan bread that used to be amazing tasted like week old leftovers. Dry as a bone, I get better Naan frozen from Amazon. After calling to explain my issue, I was told my next order would be on the house. We made another small order a few weeks later and things were just OK.We ordered again recently, and to avoid any blame on grubhub I called directly to place my order. In spite of these delivery problems they really didnt want to take my order. Pickup in 15 min or delivery one hour plus. They seemed irritated that I chose to ask for delivery anyway.The man taking my order is not well suited to deal with the public, my frustration was high after placing the order and I hoped for the best.1 hour and 55 minutes later no food had arrived so I called. They said its on the way. I live 8 blocks away and it took another 20 min to arrive. The food was cold again completely. Naan bread was still terrible.They decided after having one big issue that making sure it did not happen the second time was not important.We used to order dinner twice a month but will not give india tandoori our business again

Charged a significantly higher price for our food than what was published on their menu. The service was extremely unfriendly when we came to pick up our food. The chicken tikki masala we got had so much artificial food coloring in it and only had a few chunks of chicken in a big soup of food coloring. If we lived in the area, we would definitely go back at least once with the hope that the poor service tonight was an unfortunate exception. Our waiter was quite curt with us. It started one minute after we sat down and werent yet ready to give him our orders. He just left without out taking drink or appetizer orders. He came back a few minutes later and was about to bolt off again since we were still finalizing our choices, but my wife managed to order a glass of wine. She was the only one. The kids and I werent able to place drink orders until the next time he returned. We noticed he was patiently attentive to a table of three single women who came after us. It was truly a shame because with good service this could easily rate 5 stars.

I happened upon this place in search of Indian cuisine for my son. A quick Google Maps search for nearby spots lead me here and it was a pleasant surprise.The parking was ample but their peak hours may be challenging. There are a variety of options for vegans and omnivores. Its hard to spot off the street and triggers your hole-in-the-wall neighborhood spot. However, the interior decor is definitely not hole-in-the-wall.Theres a small bar area and Hollywood hits are playing on the screen in the main dining area.The prices arent as steep considering the food was fresh and flavorful. However, its not cheap. We ordered 4 dishes, no rice or naan, no drinks and paid $60+ with 20% tip.I say go.

When we got Puri at our table, the puri was drenched in so much oil that we didn’t want to eat so we requested the lady (supposedly the owner) to take it back but she refused. She arrogantly said that she won’t take it back, this is how Puri is made and she will charge us. We said ok, charge us but take Puri back because we won’t eat it and we instead ordered 1 roti. She reluctantly took the Puri back and gave us 2 roti. We asked for a check and we told her that we only ordered 1 roti, not 2. She angrily said that you ordered 2 Puri so she thought we wanted 2 roti. We said it’s alright you can charge us for 2 roti. She angrily told her server and these are her exact words “charge them for 2 roti, we wasted 2 puri anyway” and she left. She humiliated us there were other customers around when she was talking. The lady doesn’t know how to treat customers at all. We would never go back to this restaurant ever. Pathetic treatment!

The lunch buffet is excellent. Along with a small salad bar, theres 8 vegetarian dishes and 6 or 8 meat dishes. All the veggie dishes are very tasty and not too spicy. Garlic nan has crispy edges, chewy center and a nice garlicky flavor. And is almost never burnt.

The food quality is amazing. I came with a friend and both our dishes were very flavorful and tasted authentic. The mango lassi was delicious and had the perfect proportion of ingredients. The service was excellent, very accomodating. The decor is really simple, relaxing, and casual which makes it a nice environment to talk with company. This restaurant is truly wonderful, I would go back again and again if I lived in the area.

Three stars for the food, which is great. The service, on the other hand, was somewhat dishonest. After finishing our plates the waiter quickly brought us the bill without us actually being finished. We continued to sit and talk whilst enjoying dessert and were brought a second bill. The waiter realized we had already been billed but proceeded to leave us the new bill with a higher charge. The entire thing seemed dishonest and I cant help but think we wouldve enjoyed our meal more of we werent pushed out the door.

I absolutely loved this place! I have been to a lot of buffets but this is by far my favorite. The food was delicious- probably the best Indian food I have ever had! The service was fabulous too. The food is delicious and the service is top notch. Highly recommend to try the rice dessert as well, its a small treat on top of the already wonderful Indian cuisine.

Having spiced up food usually does not bother my digedtive system but it was different here at Indias Tandoor. Food was extremely spicy despite ordering medium strength. Chicken soup tasted like diluted Chicken Tikka masala curry. Good thing was that the attendant was friendly and quantity was enough (but we could not finish it due to being so spicy). Some what disappointed.

THEY TURNED OFF THE MUSIC WHILE I WAS DANCING.Typical patriarchal environment that bows before boring old white social norms even while crushing and stepping on their own toes to do so. I am a single mother of three young children. I have been beaten, abandoned, abused, shot (yes with a gun), been through hell and back again. I work hard, damn hard. I serve my community and my family with every ounce of my being. When I hear music and feel the liberty within myself to dance (was in an empty room aside from my children) and someone turns off the music I see fire. How dare you mother shamers, fun stoppers and otherwise puritanical! How dare you! Jai Kali MaThe food itself was delicious and the woman server was beyond lovely but the men were disrespectful. I imagine a Bollywood star would not have the music turned down on her in the disco room like they did to this MOTHER.I mean really? We have a whole disco room to ourselves, with loud Bollywood music playing but when a mum start to enjoy they turn it off! Then when I asked for it to be turned back on it was quite than before I started dancing. I asked the young guy with the puff in the front of his hair trying to be fashionable, to turn it back up, politely and he rudely shook his head no. Also the handsome guy with light eyes was particularly rude and seemed to be mocking me

I ordered mix veg, veg biryani and different breads from Tandoori at ~4.10 PM as I were leaving from Manhattan beach to Phoenix for pickup. I reached restaurant at ~5.00 PM and food were not ready. It took them ~10 - 15 minutes to prepare the food. The mix veg was un-edible as there were toooooo much salt in that. Then there were no butter on Peshawari Naan. The curd raita was toooo much sour. Pathetic food. Definitely will not suggest Indias Tandoori for sure. Worst food, I had in USA.

First time in LA, arrived around 10 PM - Really tasty Indian food (reminded me of Indian food in India), very low prices, didnt expect such amazing service even at midnight, tried Pistachio kulfi on suggestion (one of the best I ever had), i will recommend this restaurant to my friends and will definitely visit once again.

Food was okay not great. Paneer pakodas tasted a bit stale. Sag Paneer had a little more salt than needed. Their chatni are great. Service was great though. Food quality need improvement.

I took a few of my Middle East friends along with me and it turned out to be a complete disaster. The chicken tandoori I ordered had no flavor in the meat, only had flavor on top of the meat and the worst part was the chicken and lamb biryani . There was no difference between them except meat. The biryani was like meat mixed with chili powder. Had no other spices as a regular biryani would !
