Place was good. The lamb was a little over cooked for me. More medium than rare. The pineapple tea was awesome. Chicken Alfredo was very garlicky. Like as in you taste it for 4 days garlicky. The pizza was surprisingly good.

So good! Service was fantastic and informative. From time to time it was a slow, but manageable. Ordered cocktails before ordering apps and entrees and after half way eating our entrees we started getting them. Atmosphere is great and could be loud depending on the surrounding parties. The food was superb. The end. ok?

First time at this restaurant based on the positive recommendations, and its undeniably a well-established place. ✨ Appreciate the laid-back but also pretty interior that doesnt always demand a fancy dress code—perfect for both casual and semi-formal visit! 😝- Beef Carpaccio: Delicious! The beef and apple are excellently paired, making it a highly recommended appetizer. 🐮- Truffly Funghi Pizza: Its pretty good, but I might skip it next time. The aroma is enticing, but the pizza seems a bit wet or oily. 🍕- Cavatelli Alla Norcina: LOVE IT! Creamy, herby, textured, and umami-packed! Undoubtedly the standout pasta among the options I tried here. ♥️- Spicy Miso Carbonara: Despite being the most popular dish, I dont quite enjoy it. I guess Im not accustomed to udon with spicy carbonara sauce? HAHA, who knows. 🤷‍♀️🤣- Uni Pasta: Yummy, but I wish they add more uni! 🙊Highly recommend checking out INI Ristorante! Make sure to get reservations! You can also come on a weekday afternoon. My go to here is usually the mentaiko pizza and the spicy carbonara. Their truffle fries and truffle bread are a great choice too. Great spot for a date too.

Kei concept continues to impress me over and over again. I think they have a real knack for creativity when it comes to their dishes without sacrificing quality of taste.Made a reservation for 2 on Saturday 10:45am. The Fig & Prosciutto was my absolute favorite. The cream was so delicious and complemented the prosciutto very well. I would come back just for that. My boyfriend’s favorite was the truffle bread. It was definitely flavorful, powerful, and so unique. For mains, we got miso carbonara and Mentaiko Pizza. Both were pretty solid, but I personally loved the appetizer too much… We finished off with cannolis for dessert which was really good - it didn’t taste stale like some high-end Italain restaurants offer.My next favorite thing about this restaurant is the atmosphere. It is so spacious and aesthetic here. Their bar is cool to look at too. The tables are arranged and set up really well. Love the dried flower decoration on each table. The best part: FREE and Spacious parking.Service was solid. Nothing great, nothing bad. Our server wasn’t engaging, but he responded quickly and efficiently.

First time going here with family. We ordered items that our server recommended, which were delicious. The spicy miso carbonara was flavorful and had a nice kick which goes great with the bacon. The garlic parm fries were tasty, as expected. The truffle mushroom pizza had a stronger truffle flavor than I would have liked but was otherwise a tasty dish for people who like mushroom pizzas

Went there for lunch, two of us ordered the cauliflower, the truffle pizza, the uni pasta and the steak…all were on fire though I would say the steak is probably can be had anywhere…the pizza was maybe the best ever! The cauliflower was so surprisingly good. Service was on too - initially the two of us got a table for two but we needed more space and they were quickly able to accommodate us. Will be back!

INI is a very fun restaurant serving unique fusion food. When we were there, the place was full of families with lots of small kids. Luckily, there were no interruptions.The drink menu is superb. I especially recommend the mint mojito cold brew, which was so unique.The food was also very nice. We had the uni pasta, which comes topped with fresh uni and has more infused into the cream. The pizzas are sizable and rich in flavor. I would be interested in returning to try more of the menu!

I give the whole experience of this restaurant a 5/5. Perhaps I’m not to hard of a critic but I can say I genuinely enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere was great along with the staff. The food was amazing too. I thought the portion sizes were perfect as well. I highly recommend the truffle bread for an appetizer. Will be coming back.

The restaurant decor is on point, modern and clean. The Japanese style Italian dishes were a big hit. I loved the creaminess of the uni pasta and the fresh seafood in the other. We also got the mushroom truffle oil pizza and the flavors were just right. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating, I think it is a good spot for all occasions whether it be a date, business meeting or meeting with friends.

We went with a bigger group as part of a birthday dinner. First of all I am familiar with other restaurants of this company and had high expectations but got disappointed very quickly. You would expect that the service for this price point would be able to serve the food at the same time. Instead they brought food all over the place in no particular order so one half of the table got a lot of food early and the rest was waiting for another 10 minutes.The food itself is not very spectacular, I am not sure why there are a lot of pure Italian dishes on the menu but not really any Japanese ones. The fusion dishes dont work at all. For example the carbonara is just a spiced up Udon noodle with chilli which totally ruins the flavor - you could call it creamy odon with egg.Its basically just a dish with a bad twist and this keeps on going on over the menu ( especially the uni pasta and the squid risotto is not worth trying out ).The beef carpaccio was straight out overpriced and I wouldnt recommend anyone to order it.The bone marrow toast is just plain and btw whats fusion about that?I rather recommend the bone marrow pasta which was one of the better dishes.The best dish of the night was the truffle bread and the burata pizza...To be fair the pizza is just mediocre and reliant on the ingredients. A negative point is the super sweet tomato sauce on the pizza.All in all a very expensive place with fusion dishes that dont work ... The bill came out to be around 50 USD per person ...Not worth the hype ...P.S. I hope someone from the restaurant reads this:The genius idea of putting honey inside an oil dispenser doesnt work. During our stay I observed a lot of people waiting to get honey out of these dispensers for several minutes. Also there is no olive oil or parmesan cheese available to use. This weird puff bread could really use it !

Delicious food and drinks! Service was great as well. Casual cool ambiance, with plenty of space. We ordered pretty much everything on the menu. There were a few items we didnt try and I definitely want to go back to try more food... especially dinner. I wanted to try their porridge which I saw on the food photos but it wasnt on the menu. I loved everything! My favorite was the spicy carbonara pasta. It was savory and the noodles were perfect. yuzu margarita was delish. Definitely recommend!!!Reservations were easy to make. We had a large party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us within a few days notice! I do recommend to call or book reservation ahead of time.

Great dining experience with some really creative dishes to try. The TRUFFLE BREAD is a must try I would come back just for this bread. They serve it with honey and it’s delicious. On top of that the bone marrow pasta was fantastic don’t shy from trying it the server was lovely enough to scrape the meat out for us so it’s super easy to eat. The wagyu are carpaccio was another dish I’d get again if I came back bc it was so fresh and we devoured the whole thing in minutes.

Beautiful restaurant with quality items at a reasonable price. We ordered some pastas and enjoyed them, good portion and cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed my non-alcoholic Yuzu Peach Refresher as well. One of the pasta dishes I ordered was the Frutti de Mare which came with an appropriate amount of perfectly cooked seafood for the price. Their Spicy Miso Carbonara with Bacon was also very delicious.

We went on a Saturday for dinner and had reservations, we actually showed up early (confusion in our group about what time it was) and we were told that once more than half our group was present we could get seated. Well, once more than half our group was present we checked in again and they told us our seat would be ready in a few minutes. Ten minutes roll by and we check in again, they tell us our table will be still ready in a few minutes, at this point we had our whole party and it was now after our reservation slot. 😆The food itself was pretty good, I loved all the small plates I got and was sharing with the group. I ended up ordering the seafood pasta and had it substituted with a normal red sauce but it tasted very bland. I think Ill order the octopus next time.

This is a busy place even on a Wednesday after lunch time. If you want to eat dinner here, then a reservation is surly needed. The service was excellent and the food was different (hence the word “fusion” in the description of this restaurant) but quite good. The cauliflower dish was crispy and tasty and the carbonara with small chunks of bacon/ham was pretty good. The dessert of Affogato was excellent and the latte was fair.

Calling it Japanese Italian fusion is a bit of a stretch. But, the food is excellent. If they really want to nail the fusion they need to better integrate the elements. For example, they have chicken Alfredo and they have chicken katsu sando. What they should do is make chicken katsu Alfredo. The crispy katsu would pair perfectly with the Alfredo, and they could add the same amount of heat in the sando to the Alfredo sauce and it would be perfection. Instead of parmesan garlic fries, they should go with a ponzu soy glaze garlic fries. That is the type of fusion I was really hoping for.That said the food they did have, including the chicken sando and fries I had were excellent, and I would definitely have them again. Im eager to try their dinner menu and see if they are more successful with the fusion.The atmosphere of the place was very clean and I could see where they were trying to go, but again I feel like they were too cautious. They really could have embraced the Japanese sushi bar esthetic at the bar and then blended that toward the more rustic Italian restaurant feel blended with the natural wood and fabrics of a Japanese restaurant. The dining area just felt a little too American restaurant to me.

They have different lunch and dinner menu and the line could be very long so reserve your tables just to have a better experience. Cute restaurant with decent prices and amazing and delicious food. I got the mentaiko pizza ($24) and the umani flavor didnt disappoint.While the server taking our orders was fantastic, the cleanup staff was not great. They never refilled our water, cleaned up our dishes pretty abruptly, and took away one of our dishes that we were still working on! I got the uncomfortable feeling they were trying to get us to leave so the next reservation could get seated. It was not a good feeling.

Came to celebrate my birthday with a friend and I was so happy to grab resi on Resy for dinner!This Italian Asian fusion spot is definitely worth it all. Everything was really great! From the food to the service, I cant mention anything bad about it. I must say the cocktails are so unique and creative. I love that they put so much thought into it and not just rename classics. The vibes here are immaculate and Im obsessed with it! Its such a good place to catch up with friends. The food is good, but the problem is that the allocation of this seat is very bad. The echo in the corner is very loud, which causes other tables to speak very loudly. The sound here is very disruptive, and the dining experience is constantly disturbed. It is recommended that everyone avoid sitting in this seat. If you encounter a person who speaks loudly, maybe ask if can be relocated. The restaurant cannot expect every guest to speak quietly, but at the same time, the restaurant’s seating arrangement needs to be reconsidered.

Beautiful open concept Italian themed restaurant. If you love carbs like bread, pasta and pizza then this is the place for you. I thought the prices were too high for the appetizer and meat dishes. The Uni pasta was very good but price was too high for what you get. The waiter came to take our order and then we didn’t see him again until we flagged him down to pay the bill. You would think a higher end restaurant would have better service. I know the restaurant owners are the same as Vox kitchen. I think I would prefer eating at Vox kitchen more.

I recently visited INI ristorante and had an amazing experience. The restaurant has a cozy and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout the evening.The food was absolutely delicious - I started with the truffle cheese bread appetizer, which was cheesy and flavorful. I definitely have to go back because I don’t think this review is enough for me. If you are familiar and love Asian food, and also love Italian cuisine, this restaurant has the perfect mix of them both. They seem to have taken the favourite Japanese dishes and the favourite Italian flavours and mix them together. It almost feels like you’ve had this all your life. The flavours are so familiar.Their cocktails are probably some of my favourites I’ve ever really had at any place, bar or restaurant. I asked for the two fruitiest drinks and they did not disappoint. You also can’t taste any alcohol in it which makes me wonder how many of these before it’s a bad idea.I have yet to come back and try again because I feel what I ordered wasn’t diverse enough to give a better review. There was an experience that did leave a sour taste in my mouth but I will not let that define the entire experience just yet.

Danny, our server, was great! He helped us dwindle down which items we wanted to try for our first time dining at Ini. We ended up getting the Spicy Miso Carbonara (loved how they used udon!!) and the Seafood Malfadine. For starters we got the Truffle Bread which was sooo good! I was afraid the truffle would be overwhelming and that it would be too cheesy with the ricotta and the mozzarella but it wasn’t! It was served with honey to drizzle over the top and that really elevated the entire appetizer. We had enough bread to go with our pastas and the French bread paired nicely with both pasta sauces. We wish the Malfadine was a tad more spicy but overall everything was great. I’d rate the entire place an 8.5/10, great food and service but ambiance lacked a bit in having awkward half booth tables that aren’t very forgiving for tall people, my date was 6ft and it was pretty cramped. The menu pricing is competitive but still on the more expensive side but it’s justified due to raising food cost and amount of labor to create the dishes. The restaurant itself was cold so I wish the plates came out hotter, for example our appetizer came out in a mini cast iron skillet but it cooled down completely within 5 minutes. Same thing with the pastas.Can’t wait to come back and celebrate all special occasions here!

This is a great place for Japanese inspired Italian food. We had reservations for 2:15 pm but the place was still packed and bustling. Our server, Amy, was very helpful and efficient. Our drinks came within minutes and we all loved our cocktails. The burrata was served with very fresh cherry tomatoes and honey ponzu. The persimmon and prosciutto came with yuzu crème fraiche. The highlight of our meal was the mentaiko pizza, uni pasta and spicy miso carbonara. The desserts were interesting. I really liked the orange creamsicle panna cotta with citrus and the coconut lychee sherbet.I can’t wait to come back and try their other offerings.

An amazing upscale dining experience. Really great, unique food choices. Everything we had tasted amazing. My only qualm is the smaller portions for higher prices typical for upscale dining. This is a bit of a difference than our experience at INIs sister restaurant, Vox, around the corner with the food being about twice the price and the portions being slightly smaller. I still recommend the experience, but if you can find a gift card deal or anything else, it may be that much better.

We go here two time and both time is such a great experience from the delicious food to the service and decorations. All are great point in my opinion. My favorite is persimmon and prosciutto. I would say most of the dishes is really good, they are cleary stand out as high quality ingredient as prepared is carefully prepared ay where they can shine in the best light.

Absolutely delicious! Within the first bites, my family and I were all in agreement on how delicious our dishes were. For appetizer, we ordered the Beef Carpaccio (5/5 cannot recommend enough). And for our entrees we got their famous Spicy Miso Carbonara, Spaghetti Napolitan, and Frutti Di Mare. While they were all amazing, the Spicy Miso Carbonara is out of this world.Food presentation and the restaurant itself is so pretty. INI seems to be fresh take on modern fusion Italian. I think they’ve knocked it out of the park with this one. A few things need tightening up in their main dishes, but its above and beyond anything else in the area. Favorites were the two appetizers we got 10/10. Pasta dishes 8/10. Steak 7/10, (weak sear, no crust, needed salt) Dessert also 10/10 with an incredible wait staff, this initial experience was super solid! Will be a recommendation for friends and fam!

Lunch - We (3ppl) got the watermelon salad and calamari appetizer.. Both were yummy. We tried spicy miso caberona pasta and the bone marrow Mac n cheese, both were good but a little heavy for my taste but plenty flavorful.2nd time Dinner - Went again for Fathers Day 2023 and had a set menu due to having 30ppl. It was nice, we didnt have to wait long for the food to come out. They came out pretty timely, we did have a 2hr time limit so they were very efficient. Choices were good and tasty for the most part. Due to the set menu, the price was higher pp than if you came in a regular day, but no complaints as I got to try a variety of foods.

Excellency, the atmosphere drew me in, modern without a hint of tackiness. The arrangement of tables allowed for a proper diffusion of sound and conversation so my date and I were not drowned out. The food was second to none in its class, it may sound odd but spotting Japanese chefs in the back at a Japanese Italian fusion restaurant gave me relief that the food would be respectful but also risk taking to a small degree. And it was exactly that, presentation and taste swirled perfectly into a wonderful dining experience. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Had a great dinner here with friends. We shared truffle bread, beef carpaccio, mentaiko pizza, uni pasta, carbonara pasta, Panna Cotta. Yuzu-rita drink hit the spot. Everything was so good, that I overate. uni pasta is always one of my favs and this one was great. Im not a huge carbonara fan in general but everyone else loves it. My only regret is not ordering more salad or veg to balance out the carbs. Would definitely recommend!

The food here is not bad but its not overly great. I think its over hyped. Yes the KEI concept is a very great restauranteur. They have several popular restaurants like Gem, Rol sushi bar, Kin Noodles. This one though is a bit overreaching with the Asian and Italian fusion. I ordered all the recommended ones but its way too heavy. They need to make their sauce a bit on the lighter side to be truly Asian fusion.

INI Ristorante is Vox Kitchen owners latest venture. The restaurant is different to their other places, so it shines more to me than their other restaurants as its Japanese-Italian fusion.Despite waiting an hour with no reservation, everything here was great, from the decor to the staff and, of course the food.I enjoyed everything that we ordered, but particularly loved the pizza, and for dessert, the tiramisu. The only complaint (other than that the place is pretty expensive) is that portion sizes are small, so theyre pretty much tapas sized.We had a party of 3 and were seated at the bar. The bartenders (on top of the wait staff) were super friendly and hospitable and the food came out super fast.

Very delicious, id say some items have more of a Japanese than italian but very with the italian concept. Drinks were delicious, truffle cheese bread very tasty but you have to like truffle oil since its pretty strong. Bone marrow toast was very good, cant taste much of the miso glaze but the dish itself was good. The pastas were good. We got the spicy miso carbonara and the uni pasta. You kinda have to mix the topoings onto the pasta so it can really be good what made me realize that isnt the yolk on top of the miso pasta if not the toppings on the uni pasta. The spicy miso carbinara is spicy, on the menu is has the chili peppers for a reason nevertheless it was good, id get it again. Then we got the butter corn bread and the peaches and cream. The cornbread was very good but all the butter was ok the bottom of the bread yet the whole thing was very moist but careful when taking a spoonful from the bottom area. I just wished it was evenly distributed rather than just on the bottom. Peaches and cream was simple and delicious, cant go wrong with the simple ingredients but the plating was wonderful on both desserts.In general, this place was very good and id go again but id like to get different items, the ones id repeat are the spicy miso carbonara and the peaches and cream.

You can add a half lobster tail to the Spicy Miso Carbonara or Seafood Malfadine, or get a whole tail with the Prime Bone-in Ribeye. You got options! The only complaint we had was the impact of Golden Hour based on where we were seated. When the sun sets and the light reflects off the glass pane windows, a portion of our seating area was in that very bright path of blindness. Although it lasted for about 15-20 minutes, some blinds or shades at the entrance would have helped the situation.Overall, this place is definitely trending up. From the cocktails to the pasta, ini really impressed me. We tried the seafood malfadine and the cavatelli and both are cooked to al dente perfection. This place is great! Wait was about 45 min(friday night) our server Nhi was always checkin in on us. the food was delicious. Calamari was perfectly cooked. I have tried three of their most popular dishes on the menu. First I am a fan of the Kei concepts but this restaurant does not seem to live up to my expectations. Their concept is Italian Japanese and there are a lot of combination of the two cuisines which I find weird and incompatible. The ingredients do not complement each other at all. Instead they clash and bring about an odd flavor. Second the only I like about this restaurant is the dessert and cocktails. But after all it does not help ease my disappointment so I wont come back.

Came here twice. First time was all around great experience. Second time was poor.Its ironic because I grew up thinking that my Asian people were incapable of providing good service. I had always revered the White culture for its service. This place proved me wrong on both accounts.The positive experience I had was delivered by Asian hosts and waitresses, who greeted and sent us off with bright smiles. On the other hand, the negative experience was by a White man with a man bun. He was so unwelcoming and heavy-handed with our food. Went during lunchtime and it was pretty busy, but we managed to get seats at the bar. Ive been to a number of Kei Concepts other restaurants (Súp Noodle, Vox Kitchen, Nếp Café) and love Asian-Italian fusion, so I was keen on trying INI. Portion sizes were rather disappointing, but the food was alright. The uni pasta was creamy without being too heavy, and the garlic parmesan fries were mediocre - not any better than fries that you could get anywhere else. I wanted to try the duck ragu pasta, but looks like its only offered on the dinner menu, so I might try that if and when I come back to this place. Overall an alright experience. For uni pasta, I think Id rather go to Marugame Monzo in Little Tokyo.

This melted in my mouth.Next I had the Frutti de Mare, which is a pasta dish with scallops, shrimp and squid. The pasta is fresh made and cooked to have just the right chew. The shrimp were extremely plump, and scallops plentiful. The squid was a bit rubbery, but overall delicious with a very balanced tomato/wine sauce.I was full but still had to try dessert. Went with their version of cannoli, which was a fried wonton wrapper with a traditional ricotta/chocolate chip filling. Delicious.I also had a signature cocktail, believe it was called Meet Me in Venice. Very clean and nice restaurant with a friendly staff. However, the prices are too high for the portions. We spent around $45 each person and still was not full after. For pasta dishes ranging from $22 to $34 each, the portions are small and not enough if youre not ordering appetizers. Food is good but not special. We ordered an uni pasta that was too sweet and the cream overpowers any uni flavor, paired with ramen noodles that made the whole dish just a mush. Also the duck ragu is very disappointing at $27. To spend the time to make a duck confit and then incorporate it into a ragu pasta that loses all the duck flavor is disappointing. The fusion concept just seems like a concept, a mix of good parts from two cultures but fail the deliver on both. The only item our party enjoyed was the truffle cheese bread. Ini is definitely a unique restaurant as you will not see these menu items at any other restaurants.All the food is pretty delicious but I highly recommend the margarita pizza. Not only is the food good, but the ambiance and how the restaurant looks is amazing. Service is pretty quick and employees check up on you pretty often. I definitely suggest you give this place a try.
