2023-09-26 02:31:39The food is superb and the presentation is excellent. I went with the trinity of Peruvian dishes, the lomo saltado, arroz chaufa, and ceviche. The lomo saltado has a lot of flavor and the meat is tender. Mix the rice with the juices and the red onion and tomato and fries. As for the arroz chaufa, I would order that any day. It has a lot of flavor, seasoned and a good amount of chicken.Their ceviche is really fresh and the combination of the red onion, lime juice and pepper makes it really good. The sweet potato chips pair up well with the ceviche. They are fast at getting your dishes out. The service is incredible. The establishment is clean and there are many tables to seat a large group.

2021-09-26 23:27:12Great food, great customer service. The place is fairly new. The owner makes the food fresh from scratch so be mindful when ordering your food since the wait may be a little longer than you are used to. The food is amazing and it gives you that homemade feeling. I have to say the owner is very attentive with an amazing personality.

2022-05-16 13:06:47Visited on a Sunday afternoon. We were ready for this to be our new Peruvian spot. Its centered in a small shopping center off of bellflower blvd. Its easy to find and parking was not a problem at the time, but it is a busy lot.Inside the establishment is your basic mom and pop set up, small with few tables and chairs and the rear tables used as storage. It appeared tidy but not inviting. It felt like it hasnt been active for a bit. The service was missing on this day. We walked in and though you could see two people in the kitchen, and they could see us. We werent greeted or approached. We werent offered a menu for seating but there was a menu taped to a table at the front by the register and a shirt menu at the top of the same area. We looked through our menu options and they have many of the options you would expect to find. Given we still werent acknowledged, i gave a good afternoon salutation and still after a few minutes a woman came out and said nothing to us and just stood at the register and stared. Very akward. We ordered the basic lomo saltado and tallarin saltado. The feel was already so unwelcoming, we opted to eat in the car, so we took the food to go.The food fit the establishment. The steak was bland, chewy, and dry which leaves very little for the dish to work with. You could taste the saltado mix but it was a very minimal flavor. The tallarin noodles and the fries for the lomo were hence just as bland. The steak was cut into cube pieces. Just not what you need from these dishes. Neither dish was good. The serving size was enough. The price tag was high for the quality. $15.50 each.

2022-03-13 23:19:58Place is small and when we went, on a late Sunday afternoon, only 1 person was working. The metal door was locked so we had to wait until the employee came and unlocked it. Again, this was probably she was alone and was in the back chicken. We ordered the lomo saltado, salchipapas (for the kids), and beef chowmein peruano. It took some time but not that much considering it was just the one employee.Everything was good. The chowmein is not as strong as Chinese style but good nonetheless. The lomo was very good, flavorful and juicy. Definitely deserves a comeback. The high ratings are for a reason, not many have reviewed the place but for sure listen to them, this place earns its high star rating.
