Ironwood American Bistro in Suisun City

I had the short rib with mashed potatoes 10/10 perfectly seasoned. My husband had the steak and fries 9/ 10. The steak was cooked perfectly but slightly under seasoned. We also shared the fish dip 10/10 . It was a party in my mouth! Lastly, I took home the banana bread pudding 10/10. Our server was Taylor she was very informative and friendly. Check this place out! Oh, we had drinks 10/10 nice and strong.

The food is amazing here! The fried green tomatoes were the best Ive ever had! The beignets deserved a standing ovation! Soooo delicious! Everything we ate and the service we received was top tier. Beautiful place as well. Chef Megan even chatted with us and was so welcoming! Will be back every time we visit family!

The food here was top tier, and the servers were even better! There were only 2 servers, but they did all that I could ask for with how they served us. We watched as they served tables, answered the phone, and made drinks all while still checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed and wanted. The restaurant was way more casual than we expected, but nonetheless, it was an amazing experience. The food came out fresh piping hot, and delicious. 5/5 for sure!

Our new favorite restaurant! Cozy and welcoming! Call for your Valentines reservation this weekend amazing prime rib, bananas foster, brown butter cake with amazing strawberry sauce! Past meals included flatbread, Mac n cheese with sausage so amazing, risotto and a beautiful cocktail for the holidays ! We can’t wait to try the fried chicken soon! Enjoyed dinner and dessert with a coworker after a long work day. We were unable to carry on any normal conversation because we were so entranced with the flavorful food. I had steak and fries, and she had artichoke & crab flat bread. We shared an orange infused chocolate cake with whipped cream and caramel sauce, Mmmmmmmm... Staff were the most well-informed, courteous, and thoughtful Ive come across in a very long time. We very highly recommend this hidden gem.

Ironwood is a hidden jem in Suisun City! And Megan Smith, the Chef-Owner has exceptional skills! We love introducing friends and on this evening...family to our Favorite spot for an amazing meal.If you are hungry...and want a guaranteed delicious dinner...this is thevplacecto go!From the Blood-Orange Margaritas...to the pecan cake with peach compote and whipped cream...it is a party in your mouth! Dont miss the buttermilk fried mushrooms with the jalapeno ranch... they disappear as fast as they appeared. A great starter while you struggle over which entree to choose from. They all look so good.On this visit, I selected the braised short ribs...my brother went with the fried chicken...and another selected a salad for her meal followed by the rissotto, which is available in a vegetarian version. It is also outstanding.You should try Irinwood ... Ill send you once...but you will go back again and again...Open Wed - Sun 4:30 pm...

Great service, beautiful interior, wonderful fries.The waitresses are delightful and greet everybody with a smile. The interior is cozy, with warm lighting and wooden furniture, and has some instrumental playing. It seems to be popular with the locals. The food is a little higher end, so theyre also a little higher priced, but its worth it. My fries were piping hot, perfectly crisped, and tasted great, even without the ranch. The ranch was kind of runny and had a strong flavor, so I didnt actually use much.

The best resteraunt in downtown Suisun hands down!The fried green tomatoes are a must have with every meal. Always fresh and delicious!The menu changes regularly with mouth watering specials that are always spectacular.The oysters are fantastic.Highly recommend for a nice dinner with your significant other, or even just as a great meal with friends. Prices are reasonable for the quality and the staff are friendly and attentive.Id give 6 stars!!

Flatbread Pizza was great! BBQ chicken delivered. Met the owner, who chatted with us about the food, and totally took the time to let us know how much love is put into this establishment. Waitresses made us feel welcome from the get go.

Absolutely fantastic food here. DO NOT miss out on the BlackBerry Beignets, they are to die for. Had a chance to meet the owner and she is an absolute delite and really cares about her food and her restaurant. I will definitely be coming back here, what a fantastic establishment.
