ISLAND BOBA SUSHI POKE in Palm Desert

Unagi was perfectly done. The bowl is delicious perfect I’m gonna come back and try some more. I didn’t even realize this place was here.

Overall, the $18 poke bowl was not worth the price and wait time was long.Waited 45 minutes for a tiny poke bowl. I was pretty unhappy as a lady who came in after me had their order taken before mine. I waited an additional 10 minutes after got their food and left. They ordered more complicated rolls in comparison to my small poke bowl. After having already paid, the lady in the front wanted to charge me for an extra topping for the bowl after I received the food. A measly .80 cents for 10 pieces of edamame. Bad Customer service.

Great sister establishment to Island Boba & Tea! The boba teas were delicious and well made. The tempura was light, crunchy, and tasty. The popcorn chicken had great flavor. Our spring rolls were the perfect portion. And lastly, the our California Rolls were fresh and magnificent! Not to mention, the staff was very patient and helpful! We will definitely patronize them again...and again. Did I fail to mention the ambiance? Splendid!!!

Avocado bins was amazingly creamy. Made with fresh avocado. Net yum.

My kids want sushi so much and I wanted boba tea, so the place sounded perfect. Its easy to order but more expensive than I expected. The poke bowl was my favorite. Boba tea is okay, too sweet!

Too expensive but overall great poke. Only a few bites could you tell the fish was frozen, other than that tasted very fresh and delicious. Their house sauce us wonderful, spicy but also slightly sweet with rich flavor. I highly recommendI added tuna,salmon, cilantro, onion, crunchy onion, and crunchy garlic to mine (see photo) it was very very good. Im very happy they have cilantro as an option. I wish they had just a few more options but still great. The one downside is they are about $3 per bowl too much. There are plenty of other poke places that charge 12-13$ for a bowl with daily fresh fish... so Im having hard with this place being as big as it is.Definitely delicious if you dont mind spending the money. Also, need to try their boba again, the last time I had it the boba was very poorly cooked (way over cooked) and insanely sweet, way too sweet. I like sweet boba but this was off the charts. The drink itself was sweet too so I was very put off by the drink, I took just a couple of sips and threw it away.

Delicious and fresh! We had poke, tempura, and boba and it was so good! My son said, “Very very yummy in my tummy.” Come here if you are missing Asian food!

Tried this place bc it was close to our hotel and it did not disappoint!Went around 1:30, after the rush, and was seated right away. Options for seating include: sushi bar, inside table, or outside under bistro umbrellas.Ordered poke bowl, dragon roll, spicy tuna and Thai iced tea.DIY poke bowl: pick a base, 3 protiens, then up to 5 toppings, and 2 sauces. I went with rice base, tuna, salmon, unagi (eel). Added edamame, crispy garlic, Seaweed salad, green onions. Sauce automatically comes to the the side and I went with the eel sauce (sweet & tangy) then creamy sesame. Mixed them both together! Delicious.Dragon Roll: XL roll filled with a creamy crab salad mix. Topped with a generous amount of Avocado and BBQ eel. The single peices were so large I struggled to get them in one bite!Spicy Tuna Roll: definitely has a kick to it! Usually when I get spicy tuna, its very mild, with less kick then paperback cheese. This is actually spicy. Balanced with fresh cucumber and green sprouts for a touch of crunch.Thai Iced Tea: nice mix if sweet and Thai tea flavor. Helped cool off my mouth aftertaste spicy tuna Roll bites.

Delicious poke served here! Highly recommend to try this place if you are in town and love poke!We came back for the second time in just 2 days, everything is amazingly delicious.The options of proteins are very vaste and fresh, I believe due to them serving sushi as well.Well be back for sure!

Traveling from Northern California, we thought Poke Bowl in Concord couldnt be beat. Then we discovered this place in Palm Desert, California. This place is now the champ. Usually at poke places, you need to watch them make it and instruct along the way. Here, I simply marked my ingredients...Rice base2x Spicy Crab1x Unagi2x Corn3x Seaweed Salad1x Spicy Mayo1x Unagi SaucePerfect bowl. Best ever!!!
