Local joint where the owner greets everyone by name (amazing to watch, impressive). Has a sense of community.The coffee is okay.The real magic here is the muffins and pastries - which they bake fresh everyday, and are so amazing it’s hard to find enough words. This I say, and I generally never order muffins or pastries.The Chai selection is not only tremendous, but the actual Chai is top notch (I guess it makes sense why the call it a Chai Bar).Lastly, I just want to point out that they open at 6am. This is equally important to all of the other great products the offer. This place is actually hoping at 6-6:30am. Humans need coffee and breakfast.Nothing bothers me more than a coffee shop that opens at 8am (misses the point).So, thank you to Mike and the entire staff for getting it right, hitting the center of the bullseye, and being an integral part of the community. You made my visit welcoming and more connected.

Outdoor Seating, Dog Friendly!Iw Coffee & Chai bar is a cool spot, I visited them in the a.m then around lunch. Yes the garage door is wonderful when its cool out but as I passed around noon when it was 85, I didn’t know why it was still open. I came in around 1 when the garage door was closed but it was a bit warm inside. I sat next to a plant that some nats or maybe the bugs were already there because the garage was open. The Mocha latte was hella sweet. I’d love to come back and give them another try

My family has a time share at the Marriott Villas 1 just a short distance away and we were incredibly impressed with everything about this coffee shop.Mike the owner is an absolute pleasure, hes friendly, hes attentive, courteous and very customer-focused. Its clean, the drinks are unique and there seems to be a family style vibe - which I love. Perhaps the locals, frequent the spot regularly.I enjoyed an iced, honey lavender latte and it was wonderful. Theres a roaster in sight, nice high-quality marble counters, glass and also delicious baked goods. Nice tables, chairs plenty of seating and open space, with a lovely view of the mountains. Just go and tell Mike Jared from San Diego, sent you. Hes great.

Came here on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and it was pretty busy but wait wasn’t bad roughly 15 minutes to order and 10 minutes for food. I got the egg breakfast on jalapeños bagel. Wow it was good. It was huge as well I had to split with hubby. I don’t have pictures because we devoured the whole thing in minutes. It was so rich and unctuous and the jalapeño offered perfect amount of kick between bites.They also had a patio and the garage door was open. It felt so nice and breezy. Desert view was also beautiful. Would definitely visit again if we find ourselves in the neighborhood!

My first time here I ordered an iced vanilla latte. It was good. Wish I would have ordered something stronger. For sure next time. I also treated myself to a very moist and delicious peach muffin. It was perfect with my coffee. Service was fast and friendly.

This place has the best views of any coffee shop I’ve ever been to. Great service and amazing coffee. Get the jelepano bagel. It’s the best. The egg breakfast sandwich is a little dry though so I wouldn’t get it unless you specifically ask for tomato. Owner is super friendly - check this place out!!!

Really disappointed. I come to visit my parents in PD every year. I discovered this place last year and the lattes were delicious. This time I came (a year later) and my coffee was well over 200F and the espresso was pulled way too quickly. The taste, quality and my burnt tongue won’t have me visiting this place until the baristas are retrained.

Came here for the chai (duh!) and was excited to try it. Hip place with a giant roaster right in the center. They have a clear chai menu, but unfortunately, just one vegan chai. I wasnt sure why they others couldnt be vegan as well, since the milk gets added in afterwards, but the workers did not seem to be able to clearly articulate what was in the teas to make them not vegan. I guess that is to say that the ingredients on their chai menu are not all-inclusive. I suppose a bit more transparency would be nice. The vegan chai was ok, but a bit sweet, even though it was on the spicy side, according to the menu.

Great spot! The coffee is strong, the food is incredibly delicious (and fresh!) and the staff is so friendly! They move you in and out quick, without sacrificing quality and if they are taking longer than usual, they’ll let you know. Go!!

Ive been dropping by IWC for a few months now. Good service and good lattes. Today, during a rush, I ordered an avocado toast that got lost in the shuffle. This has never happened before, and once they realized, they immediately made it right - they made the avo toast but also made me another drink and offered me a cookie free of charge. The owner also came out to apologize. I wasnt upset at all, but its clear from their immediate response that they care about happy customers. Nicely fixed - Ill be back again soon! Thank you!

WOW!! First time coming in I’m allergic to eggs so I ordered the turkey bacon avocado sandwich and an double espresso shot with whipped cream . The sandwich was so delicious I took two to go . I’ll be back . Thank you for such a great view while I enjoyed my breakfast 💕

Every time I come to town, this locally owned business is a must stop. I love the Maui Wowie muffin and a Spiced Brown Sugar Latte. Make sure and get some beans to take home. The views from this hideaway are spectacular and the vibe accepting and cozy.Miki from Torrance

We must have hit them on an off day..as this had been my favorite coffee shop...we brought in our frequent customer card with 2 punches on it..the cashier took our card saying they now have a new program and we needed to enroll and she would give us two stars that were on our card..so far we have not gotten the two stars she was very friendly and helpful. Then we ordered two affogatos which ended up being the worst we had ever had...the ice cream was just all icy tasting and tasted like it had sand in it. So we had this big blob of icy awful tasting ice cream and a tiny bit of coffee...will not be coming back since we spent over $14.00 on two awful affogatos and no credit for our previous points

I ordered a latte with nonfat milk, and it was the best coffee Ive had in a year! So fresh and flavorful. I thought I was in Italy for a minute. They roast the beans right there. Also, the bear claw was the bomb.

The chai is good but only because it is David Rios chai. I dont like that they arent upfront about it. I mean, they even use the EXACT same description as on David Rios website. Give Mr. Rio his kudos!For those wondering, David Rio has several chai bars in San Francisco so you can get your fix there if visiting. Youll find a myriad of chai choices along with their sweetness/spice levels.

When you walk through the door you will be overcome by the rich smell of roasting coffee. The smell alone makes you think you have already had a cup. The coffee ☕ is great. They also offer a nice egg dish. The music selection is very good. But, the important thing about this IW is that the west side of the building is open on nice days. The view is beautiful.

I love this place. The only place my hubby can get the best Gluten free muffins in 5 flavors. I am is I love with Chai and this is the perfect low calorie sugar free chai teas available. I asked for herbal tea suggestions, was given three choices, picked one. It turns out it was made with black tea which of course, contains caffeine. You would think one who works at a coffee bar would understand what herbal means. They were quick to make me a new drink. The avocado toast was terrible! It’s not fresh avocado, it’s spread out of a container and not tasty. I would prefer food workers to wear a mask, the clerk that helped me had hers around her chin.

We walked over from the Embarc time share for breakfast on a Sunday morning and loved it.- beautiful interior, with nice window views of San Jacinto- lots of interesting coffee drinks, as well as standard ones, and many varieties of chai (we got the nutella latte and just an oat milk latte)- large breakfast menu, plus lots of baked goods (I had the breakfast bagel and my boyfriend had the New Yorker, both of us loved the food)- variety of milk (2%, almond, oat)- friendly staff and calm vibes- prices are not cheap, but are pretty standard (my bagel sandwich was $6 and the new yorker was $10 because it has lox, and our drinks were about $4 each)We will have to come back next time!

The only way to find out if the coffee is good is to taste it by drinking an espresso! This was one of the worst coffee i’ve Drank. People can’t see it because they order drinks with milk or ice. Food is fake like in Starbucks the bakery is ok.
