I ordered pescado and Korean BBQ tacos, pollo quesadilla Mexicana with strawberry pina agua fresca. Everything was very good. I especially loved the char on the chicken. Agua fresca was just the right level of sweetness for me.

Motha freaking wow. Me and my brother pulled up to the nearest high starred place. We picked this one because they had more visitors. We were blown away by the menu! The shrimp tacos 🌮 😋 were so delicious, everything was and we tried a list. Chicken burrito, pork belly burrito, pork belly taco 🌮, AL pastor taco, Carne asada burrito. I havent had such great flavors in a long time!! Delicious!! The people are nice and theres a nice outdoor seating area. Btw churros!! So soft and crunchy and scrumptious.

Had really yummy Avocado tacos and tried the impossible asada burrito (vegan/vegetarian) with fries on the side. The portions are very generous and DELICIOUS! There are a few seating options and a restroom available. Service was great too 🙂

Ixtaco is slow and meticulous new style taco. I went during Happy Hour, M-Thurs 4:20-7:10 all tacos 20% off. Ordered the al tocino (crispy pancetta), scallop, clam tacos potato tacos. The service was family friendly, but slightly slow probably due to the happy hour. The al tocino was super crispy and full of flavor, but too salty. All the marisco tacos are wonderful and perfectly fried and grilled. The potato tacos has multi-flavor and texture of crunchiness, soft fluffy potatoes, creamy sauce and freshness of the cabbage. My recommendation is go for any of the seafood tacos. I cant wait to try the fish tacos. They seem to have a different take on it.

This place is sooo good! The tortillas are homemade. The aguas frescas are delicious and made with CBD. We tried the chicharon, carnitas, chorizo, and both the tilapia and sea bass fish tacos. Hard to pick a favorite because everything was incredible. Leave room for churros; they’re served warm and filled with dulce de leche!

This place is amazing. I wish I lived here, so I could eat here every week.They have different specials like Taco Tuesdays where tacos are 15% off. They also have 420 happy hour every day starting at 4:20 where everything is 20% off.There’s a tiny parking lot and just a few tables outside. Was able to grab a table, but I imagine lots of people get takeout.They have a variety of meats. They also have a “secret menu” that’s handwritten and taped to the ordering window. The agua frescas rotate out, and the day’s choices are written on a little chalkboard by the ordering window.The portion size is pretty generous, and everything I ordered was delicious.

Great place, super friendly staff. They are a great business with authentic and fresh flavors. Downside is parking, they share parking with some houses that are in the plaza as well as a large mechanic shop. Max their is about 3 parking spots most of the time. So come with anticipation of this. Order ahead as sometimes it can take up to 30 mins. Totally worth the wait!! They have so many specials so keep an eye o. The posters in their windows and walls

Hands down best plant-based tacos in town! 🙌🏻 So happy to have discovered this amazing taqueria! They serve regular animal based tacos too but their plant-based offerings are A-MAZING!!! ❤️The tortilla is deliciously unique: it’s got fluffy consistency, is nice and warm, and folds perfectly in your hands for a good number of bites. Sure, they may not have the typical taco stand “pick up your veggies” bar but who needs extra onions, cilantro, and radishes when the tacos pack a flavorful punch?! 🥊 After trying the food for the first time, I’ve definitely returned as a repeat customer. The owner, Adam, is pretty chill and awesome too! It’s located in a parking lot of an auto repair shop. Definitely worth your time finding this place! Outdoor seating includes three small tables, a booth, and a bar stool area. Order at the counter and they’ll bring the food to your table. Don’t miss out, you must try this taqueria!

The food here is decent. Nothing that will have me coming back My complaint is regarding service. I ordered 3 tacos and my son a burrito and we ordered another burrito to go for my husband. My tacos came out first. We waited about 30min and I decided to eat before my food got cold. We ended up waiting an hour and a half for my sons burrito after asking 3 times. When we finally got the rest of the order we didnt even receive an apology. We were very patient and graciously waited with no communication. Honestly we were really hungry and tired. If I wouldve known I wouldve gone somewhere else.

Found this place on accident because my friend and I were looking for a quick bite! But now I come here every time I am in the area.I always get their tacos, especially their super and vampiro too. The one I cant ever get out of my mind was their special of the week --- the PORK BELLY TACO. omg it was to die for. you definitely need to catch it on the day they have it, they dont always have this. All their meats have so much flavor and so juicy. Their salsas always plentiful and deliciousI really enjoyed their mango passionfruit agua Fresca too, but they dont always have it either ):This establishment is small. It is only an order window with a parking lot and a few tables (less than 5). It is best to order to-go and bring it home or I usually cant wait and have to eat in the car!!must come back soon!

I randomly came across this small taco spot while looking up something to eat. Their tacos do go for $3.50 and higher. The meats are not your typical meats youll find at any other Taco spot, definitely different. I had an asada and carnitas tacos. the canitas flavor was definitely a fusion of Asian quisine as well as their ghost sauce. Their Aguas frescas are also something else, I had the pineapple 🍍 guava flavor which was delicious. Yooooo Oaxaca cheese tacos were the bomb, I never tried anything like this before. Tortilla hecho de mano which is a plus. Everything here is very authentic but has a cool modern twist too it. If you craving Mexican food come here! Try the happy mole Oaxaca cheese taco, your welcome. LolOh I should add parking here is hard to find so what I did was just go down a little more and park in the next plaza

My wife and I heard about Ixtaco on KTLA, apparently everyone else in LA did too! We waited all week to try it, and it was worth the wait. I arrived shortly before 8pm and had a few other people in front of me, who also were talking about hearing about the taco stand on TV. I didnt get my food until almost 9pm. An hour waiting for food at a taco stand, and I will GLADLY go back and wait just as long again. We tried fried fish tacos, soy chorizo queso tacos, fried avocado queso tacos, and veggie nachos. My wife thought the fish taco was a little spicy for her likings, she finished the but she had, but didnt pursue more. So if you like heat, youll love them. The queso tacos, cheese tortilla, were what everyone wanted to try, and they are a great novelty taste. Its a fun idea, but the fillings in the tacos really made the food great. The seasoning and simple additions with the soy chorizo were spot on and delicious and the fried avocado is brilliant. Neither of these had salsa on them, so if you like a kick, toss some house salsa on them and youll be pleased. The nachos had spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, and I think something else. Not a variety of toppings youd necessarily anticipate working on nachos, but again, they really created an enjoyable flavor combination. All six tacos and the big plate of nachos totaled $26 and it was well worth every penny.

This was my first time trying this place. I read other reviews and had to try it for myself, hoping to have found a diamond in the rough...Ill start with the positive: the beans were perfect!! Yummy!! The rest was not so good- salmon was bland and dry, the carne asada taco was boring with no flavor!, Even the tortillas were not good. The rice was bland and chewy! Only one out of the four salsas was good enough to put on the tacos. Dont know that I would go out of my way to go, but would stop for beans if passing by.

Maybe it was just my experience, but there were literally flies all over the place (and I mean inside their kitchen). They have an A for health department but from what I know flies touching surfaces where food is handled is a high violation. I honestly didnt really want to eat my food after seeing all the flies and the overall cleaningness would also rate at a 2 start out of 5 in my book. Kind of disappointing.

I ordered the chorizo quesadilla, asada Pappas special, and chicharon carnitas taco (amazing!). It is order at the window and seats are located outside. Parking is limited so we parked in the residential street next to the restaurant. The cashier was extremely helpful in helping me decide what to order. I would give this a 5 stars if the food didnt take so long to make.

Great people serving the food. Owner came out and took my food to the back to add additional refried beans and guacamole. If you are looking for real Mexican food with a cool little twist on the original, then this is definitely the place you need to visit. Delicious, flavorful, and clean Mexican food. If youre looking for Mexican food that doesnt make you feel like sh*t after, say no more.These guys really know how to balance and put together their food. Superior nachos that I got was well balanced with sour cream, spicy salsa, guac, SUPER TENDER chicken (like super), and cheese. If you know dirty nachos and how salty and oily they can be, this dish aint dirty.Tacos have a thicker shell (maybe fried?) And vampiros are super crunchy. Get the chicharron if youve never tried--so crispy and good.Honestly cant go wrong with ANY of the items here and Ixtaco is consistently good. Good job guys, keep up the great work.

Excellent tacos, burritos and quesadillas. The sauces/salsa are on the hot side so ask for it on the side if you dont like it hot. They offer a good selection of meats and some seafood. All are done very well. The chicharron is excellent. One of the best. Cant go wrong with that selection. When you pull into the parking lot it looks like a service shop because there is one there. The restaurant is to the right of the parking. Outdoor seating only.

Ixtaco has become one of my favorite taquerias in the area despite it being higher in price than others. You get what you pay for! My go-to protein is the KBBQ bulgogi and duck (secret menu), but you really can’t go wrong with any of the options. There usually is a bit of a wait as they cook everything fresh and this place is usually busy.

I went in to order 2 drinks and a sopes to try my first time there. The music was so loud the order was screwed. I ended up with 2 sopes (I only ordered one) two aqua frescas. One contained CBD which I did not ask for. It took a very long time when I finally got my order I figured lesson learned I will not come here again. Just as I get into my car they finally turn off their loud music. Side note $6.80 is way too expensive for one sopes.

Got birria fries for $13.75 (incl tax). Fries are a bit lackluster, think In-n-out (cut and fried to order) but soggier. But to be honest, the birria (or whatever protein you choose) is the real star of the show. Make sure to check their secret menu before ordering. Its whatever they have fresh in store at the moment, so it changes pretty frequently. Birria and crab are some the items that could show up.They do not skimp on the amount of protein you get. *One* of order fries could easily feed 3 people. If I bought this during happy hour (20% off), this wouldve been $11. Im honestly surprised this place isnt more popular. Delicious food and seriously competitive prices--even in todays economy.

We have been coming here for years now. It’s been a while due to Covid but we decided to drive out tonight. The food is always good however be prepared to wait. If you walk up, it’s a 30 minute wait for your food to come out. If you don’t mind the wait the food is definitely fresh. We really like the calamari and shrimp and fish options on Fridays. The aguas are always delicious! They currently have a 420 happy hour special where you get 20% off your food between 4:20 pm to 7:10 pm Monday - Friday.Enjoy!!

So when I moved to SGV and my friend said there was a taco place I had to try, I was pretty guarded.And then lxtaco Taqueria blew my mind.Cut to the chase - the tacos are incredible. Is it that the meat is literally cooked and cut before your eyes? Is it the simplicity of the ingredients? Overall to the thick tortilla and the marinating of the meat its really good very interesting style. They also had unique very filling nachos, the chicharron tacos are also on point. Parking is a bit of a pain, but theres a plaza next door where theres a laundromat and some other stores that dont seem to care if you park there to grab food. People there are insanely friendly and the food is so good. Grab that extra salsa and seating is limited as well. They have specials listed on a piece of paper thats above where you order.

Ive come here a few times for the no meat nachos. I ordered the soy chorizo with vegan cheese and no sour cream. The food came fresh and delicious. I also ordered a Happy Mango which had mango bits and was quite refreshing. Its an order at a window and sit down outside kind of place. The nachos are very filling at a reasonable price. My friend ordered the beef tacos and she said it was pretty good with limes, red and green salsa, and sliced radish.4:20pm to 7:10pm theres a discount which is when it gets busy. Vegan cheese is $1 extra. Parking is small. There is a bathroom for customers. Ive always had an extremely long wait (20+ min) for impossible asada so I dont recommend it.Overall I would come at 4:20pm for the discount but other times are also decently priced.

I’m from the east coast and I’ve literally eaten tacos across the US. This place has my heart. Handmade tortillas that didn’t break even to the last bite. Everything had flavor. The food here is amazing. Not your typical greasy taco place. You can tell that each item on the menu was thought out and crafted on its own. Ixtaco has basically ruined all other taco places for me in terms of flavor. The food and drinks easily earn five stars, and Id really like to give Ixtaco as a whole five stars, but the service is god awful. The window to order is at waist level, theres a computer speaker blasting an assortment of loud music at all times and the cashiers rarely make an effort to pay attention. In the many times the food has gotten me to come back, Ive seen countless people get the wrong orders brought out to them, or seen angry customers storm off after having to wait 30-40 minutes for their food for some reason or another. Ive been in the same place as they have and it is indeed frustrating. I wouldnt recommend coming here if youre in a hurry, but if you want really, really, good tacos, then this is your place.

Visited because of an article I read and I mostly stick to veggie food so I was excited to try something good, Mexican, and veggie. Tacos were great. Flavorful and authentic tasting although their al pastor tasted, looked, and felt more like they used mushrooms than impossible meat as advertised which was very disappointing since that is what originally piqued my interest. I love al pastor and would have still ordered it but call it what it is, to do otherwise is an insult to customers and they charged us the menu price which I imagine is for the impossible meat since they are called impossible pastor but all we got was mushrooms instead. Their buñuelo had the perfect crisp to it however they use both cinnamon sugar and syrup and it was just too sweet. We had two of the aguas frescas, guava and watermelon and both were delicious but we showed up at 11am and already no CBD aguas which is 50% of the reason we drove all the way from Loma Linda to try this place. The watermelon drink had small chunks of fruit making it more delicious but I wish both drinks (tried the guava too which was also really good and tasted like the actual fruit) had been colder. Decent street parking if youre there at the right time. Cozier sitting area than I expected but some of the cars that do get to park inside are right up against some of the tables since their inside parking is pretty much nonexistent. When we ordered the first time I ordered two tacos, one drink, beans and rice. They came out with everything but the beans and brought the buñuelo instead and told us if we wanted the beans we had to pay for them but when I asked the lady if she could just take the buñuelo back she said no. Pretty bad customer service but whatever, we paid for the beans and tried the buñuelo, like I said though, way too sweet. Overall good food but just too many small disappointments especially for driving so far. I was really excited to recommend this place to friends and family but I cant stand behind a recommendation with the kind of experience we had. Theyre literally headed in a great direction but are just not quite there yet. That article really hyped it up for more than it was. Considering the distance, most likely wont be visiting again but if youre nearby and a veggie Mexican like me, its definitely something to try. They really need to work on their delivery service through their website. It is done through two different second parties that dont bother to help with an order being incorrect. When I tried calling they were busy and I have work so I cant spend time trying to track them down over missing items in the order which is why I had it delivered in the first place. The Chorizo was extremely salty, and the Chicharron was absolutely unacceptable! Granted, Im not expecting them to cook a batch every time someone orders, the chicharron was hard, chewy and gave the tacos a jerky like consistency. 1/5The bacon tacos were better but as an attempt at replicating Al Pastor, I have to say these are in their own realm. They dont have the same flavor or umami that real Al Pastor tacos have. 2/5The langostina/lobster taco. This is by far their best taco and very well should be for its premium cost. Good flavor all around. I started with this taco so it pretty much set the bar for all of the other tacos. Tasty, flavorful and just the right ingredients that dont get in the way of the lobster. 4/5. Would have liked a little more lobster in there.The carnitas was nice and tender but lacked any real flavor. It was nice that they gave a really big chunk of it. Quantity aside, quality was OK. 3/5.Finally, the esquites. What an insult to Mexican food. This *has* to be canned corn. 0/5 for effort. I cant even articulate how ridiculous this was.Just a really bad experience overall. I almost headed back down the 10W to Tacos Tamix to get the taste out of my mouth.

Their food is good but their customer service! Every single time I place an order, I always have issues with them, for example I just call 20 minutes ago, alady put me on hold and never came back to the phone and Ive been trying to call back ever since and not one time has she pick up the phone to check on me because right now the line is busy and I cant get through, which proves that she still doesnt even know that I hung up. The line is still off the hook. just imagine how many other customers are trying to call right now and theyre losing money because their customer service sucks.

Great place for tacos, nachos, quesadillas, and everything in between. Staff is nice. They take phone orders. Getting food takes a while but everything is freshly made. Parking can be difficult amd limited. They take card and cash. Limited seating. Great little hole in the place.

So far Ive had the carnitas torta & a passion fruit cbd agua fresca the 1st time I ate there. The torta was a good size with massive amounts of meat. The torta bread was soft & fresh, the meat was tasty and flavorful. The CBD agua fresca had little gummy/jelly squares of goodness in it. That CBD water had me relaxed and chill after my meal. On my 2nd visit I had a carne asada torta, CBD agua fresca wasnt available this time so I ordered a piña fresa (pineapple-strawberry) agua. The meat was super tasty, the bread soft & fresh. So effin delicious!

Ive driven down valley boulevard more times than I can even count. Not once have I ever noticed this little gem, which literally defines, hole in the wall.Sandwiched in between a liquor store and an auto body shop, you will find the little place, simply adorned with a couple of tables and a window. It definitely had the potential to look like a hip and trendy taco stand, and I think they did a good job to make do with what they had to work with.Their menu serves different variations of Mexican style dishes; tacos, burritos, carne asada fries, and more! They also offer a variety of meat! Some of my favorites are the duck, lobster, lamb and of course the traditional favorites; such as chicken, beef, and pork!I usually order a vampiro, quesadilla, taco, or sope! If you come during rush hour, expect to wait a while for your food...! I’ve visited this location a few times, and I feel like the wait time got longer and longer!If it’s your first time visiting the place, I think it’s important to try the oax queso taco at least once! A tortilla, made entirely of cheese!

Love coming here. Depending on how busy it is expect to wait 15-20 mins for your food. Also if you can find a spot to eat there I reccomend it because by the time you get home the food is cold. This food has to be eating hot and fresh!

This is not your typical tacos stand. It serve many premium tacos included snow crab, Mahi Mahi, roasted duck, rock cod fish etc...The fish taco portion is big for the size. The totilla is homemade, food take a while but is excellent quality.If you want best quality tacos for the price than his is the place to go!

Came here for the first time because I saw it had great reviews and it was definitely worth it I will be coming back asada and chicken tacos where delicious and so was the asada sope and asada quesadilla the cashier was kind and professional I would definitely recommend it love that it’s outdoor and they bring the food to your table.

Well I admit food is good or acceptable but customer hospitality and service is just horrible, me and my friend ordered tacos and from what Ive heard from other customers, this place manages to serve customers what they asked for incorrectly...and funny enough they screwed our order too. Then we asked for a two extra tacos to make up for the incorrect tacos they served us and they gave us tacos..but without the tortillas and burned the food deliberately because its our fault somehow.. food is good but beware they arent considerate enough to remember the orders correctly and served my cousin guacamole as well when he clearly said no and is allergic

My coworkers and I go here at least once a week. We love that you can pretty much pick the item (taco, burrito, nachos, etc) and then pick the meat. They have so many options such as: duck, lobster, carne asada, chicken, lamb, scallops.

Placed a phone order and when I picked it up they were very rude. So unlike this place. And I mean every single one of them. This is the absolute worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to, the service was terrible. They took so long to get me my drink and to get my food. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito and there was more cheese than there was beans! ( I think the beans are canned) however the tacos were up to par.
