Decided to try on a whim and ended up being the best thing possible. The food was exactly what we were expecting and more. Top tier customer service! Made us feel so welcome and laugh so hard

Any place that serves Orion beer has a special spot in my heart. We started our meal with an order of fried chicken cartilage which is a sure sign of an authentic izakaya.The Chirashi Don was delicious: expertly prepared sashimi over perfectly seasoned rice.The Grilled Miso Black Cod was exceptional. According to my wife, the type of Miso used was legit and the accompanying Kobachi were wonderful compliments to the meal.The yakitori set was spot on, tasty sauce slathered over charcoal grilled skewers of chicken, pork, shrimp, shiitake, and Japanese yam. Cho oishi daiyo!If you’re looking for the quintessential izakaya experience you will be hard pressed to find anything as legit as Izakaya An. The owners were friendly and highly accommodating to me and my family. We will most definitely return to try the rest of the menu!

Delicious authentic Japanese dishes. Every dish we order were savory and wanting more. This is our first visit with friends and service was great. Definitely coming back again!!!

Took a little bit to get the food. But on arrival, the food was amazing! Cooked or raw. I had the sushi combo and chirashi don. Then some belly fat skewers and Japanese yam cooked, seasoned, and sauced deliciously. 10/10 recommend this place for sushi and sashimi. If you’re willing to wait for quality, you’ll get it here. Also, the shochu mix is on par here. Totally recommend it with calpico.

Great service, quality food, authentic atmosphere. Reminded me of restaurants in Japan. Seafood soba, and ginger pork were delicious. Will be returning.

Will be back!Had their Tonkatsu ramen, the broth is rich and creamy, all the toppings were delicious and the pork had a delectable char along the edge. Noodles had a great texture, not over done, even though the food came out piping hot.Wish I could make their sunomono at home, the pickling was delicately sweet and tart.Sashimi cuts were generous in size and exceptionally fresh, with a clean flavor and perfect texture.Love that they are family owned and operated, everyone was very sweet and attentive without feeling crowded.

New family restaurant run by a couple. The udon noodle soup has a rich flying fish broth and a variety of vegetables, they did not cut corners. The grilled squid and butter fish are delicious. Finally when the bill came it was so cheap we were shocked. We will definely become regular patrons.

So disappointed. I bought a sushi roll and it was the size equivalent to a chinese roll.... So small. Wasted my money. I spent $20. In my opinion I think they purposely make the rolls small so you order a second one. $20 on food should get you full. Im really really disappointed, Im still mad and hungry!!! I wish I would have went somewhere else.

I cannot recommend this place. Waited for 80 minutes before getting a dragon roll. It took another 10 minutes for a chirashi and agedashi tofu to arrive. Food itself was just OK. Definitely not worth the wait. Serving size is on the smaller side.
