2023-04-14 19:49:25The sushi 🍣 and tapas tasted wonderful.we sat at the bar and Our sushi chef made sure we were always taken care of. I have to say the bulgogi on a bed of sauteed asparagus, broccoli, and onions was one of my favorite dishes, I could go and just get the vegetables and be happy. and would go back for the crispy onion and albacore. I gave service 4 stars because the server forgot I ordered a drink and took a long time to get our check. But an overall great experience. They also have LATE NIGHT HAPPY HOUR from 9 till close💫💫💫💥

2023-08-07 04:33:29Today I dined at Izakaya M. and unfortunately, I must express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I experienced. The waitresss rude demeanor and unpleasant glances throughout the meal made the overall dining experience truly miserable.I have a food allergy to avocados and kindly requested to substitute them with cucumbers in my crispy rice order. However, the waitress informed me that there would be an up charge for this substitution, which seemed unreasonable given that avocados are typically more expensive than cucumbers and only a small amount of avocado was usually used in the dish. When I pointed out that I had visited the restaurant before and never been charged for such substitutions, the waitress suggested speaking to the manager. I agreed to do so, but to my disappointment, the manager never approached me during the meal. I assumed the issue was resolved, but to my surprise, when the bill arrived, there was an extra dollar charge for the minimal amount of cucumber I had requested.Upon questioning the waitress about this discrepancy, she outright lied, stating that I had never asked to speak to the manager. Her attitude towards me was extremely disrespectful, and she even went as far as to claim that the owner was present and offered to have me speak with her. I agreed to meet the owner, hoping to resolve the matter, but regrettably, the owner never came to address the situation.Later, the manager approached and conveyed that the owner had requested that both my guest and I not return to the restaurant. I was appalled by this decision as the waitress had clearly deceived the owner with inaccurate information about the incident. The unprofessional behavior displayed by the waitress, her dishonesty, and the lack of action taken by the management team and owner have left me disheartened. I had hoped for an enjoyable dining experience, but instead, I was met with disrespect and an unfortunate outcome. As a customer, I believe in fair and honest treatment, and I am deeply disappointed by the way this situation was handled. I cannot recommend Izakaya M. to anyone given the unprofessionalism displayed by the staff, particularly the waitress, and the lack of accountability from the management and owner.

2023-08-02 21:13:29I’d just like to solely address the customer service I received last night at Izakaya M by the waitress, named “Pearl.” Respectfully, I didn’t like the way you handled my visit last night. I don’t appreciate the wrong food order twice and the belittling attitude. I’m sorry that I needed a couple more napkins and extra eel sauce. You also made my partner feel like asking for the bill was such a big task for you when we finished. I understand that you’re only human and may even have other things going on, but that still doesn’t give you the right to treat your clientele negatively. Food was great and ambiance was fine but it’s the experience that weighs more on the clients. For that I am not going to host my grandmother’s 80th birthday there.

2023-07-26 14:34:29My favorite sushi place on this side of the hill! You must do their happy hour! The best hand rolls! One of the coolest thing, they have red velvet cupcakes brought in from Doughboy!

2023-12-09 05:42:31We went there for dinner and had chicken skewers, fish collard and rice eel. The menu is few pages long from Tapas to sushi. The chicken was over cooked and overall it was all average.

2021-07-19 00:21:522nd Visit in 3 days.Had the Soft Shell Crab and Chicken Karaage to start ( so good I got the soft shell again at the end) I know Im a fatty. There salmon and albacore sushi was so fresh and scrumptious! Full of flavor.Their ceviche Roll was also a favorite. But you also have to try the Spicy Scottman and Pitchfork Roll. No need to add to the flavor because its already ready to go directly into your mouth!I will be back!

2023-04-02 17:06:53Food is exceptional every visit! We went a bit later this most recent time. We were seated promptly. The only difference I noticed this time was they seemed to have fewer servers. In spite of that, service was brisk and efficient. Food wise, its all about the robata skewers! Theyre so delicious. Anything bacon wrapped is a safe bet. Still not brave enough to try the chicken hearts, though. Maybe next time.
