J Sushi Whittier in Whittier

When I crave for sushi, this restaurant has always been one of my favs!Highlights of the menu:1. Broiled mussels2. Salmon teriyaki bowl3. Mild monkey roll - baked scallops & crawfish4. Crab hot dog roll - spicy crab on a deep fried cali roll5. Beef udon6. Iced green tea - it’s huge!

Found this new little local sushi spot! Looked them up before I visited and saw they had a few other locations with great reviews so definitely had to give them a try. The food was really good! We got a variety of items from rolls, to sashimi, to bento boxes and apps. Everything was really tasty & the service was great! Our server made sure to check in on us. The decor and atmosphere is really pleasant and relaxing and they played some great music too! Highly recommend!

Came here for the first time today and I have to say I was very impressed! I ordered the chicken bento box (see picture) and it was really great. Tempura was hot and fresh, cooked in clean oil. All this plus the miso soup was under $15!The place was super clean and the staff very attentive. Ill be back!

Service was a bit slow and the place is a bit of a middle tier in terms of how nice it is, but my goodness the food is top notch.Totally worth the wait. Food was melt in your mouth and delicious. Would’ve been 4 stars but they came out to play with the food. Would be 6/5 stars.

This place is sooooo good I just grabbed a chicken bento box for lunch and the chicken is so clean and well served the location is really clean as well and the staff is very welcoming. I really enjoyed my lunch and $15.50 for a really big meal is a really good price. I will definitely be recommending it to my family and friends. Glad to know there is good sushi across the street from me.

Came in to this newly opened location, to discover a very nice and welcoming environment. The service staff were beyond friendly and professional. I ordered my food to go, which was 3 special rolls, a hand roll and shoyu ramen. My family and I were not disappointed! The food was flavorful and well made! We will definitely be returning or doordashing for more very soon. We highly recommend this place.

J Sushi food quality was good, the price was reasonable, and service was great!

Been wanting to try this place since I kept seeing ads on FB. Everything was really good! We had spicy garlic edamame, two different sushi rolls, Ramen and the chicken teriyaki bento box.

The food here is absolutely amazing. Far and away the best sushi in Whittier. The chefs are very attentive and inventive and the staff is always helpful and on top of their game. Really solid date restaurant. The platters will help you cater like a boss.
