Service was fast and portions were impressive for the price! Lo mein was phenomenal, definitely hit the spot. Coconut Shrimp was a little too crunchy/crispy due to the sauce only being poured on top when ordered, but still super tasty! Also got the Kung Pao Chicken and Mushroom Chicken which were very tasty. I would recommend this place to anyone thinking about trying it. If I find myself in the area again, I will definitely end up coming back here.

Good food, good portions. Egg drop soup was fine. Similar to Panda Express. Dine in or take out. It is a small restaurant with 4 indoor tables. Off street parking lot, restaurant located next to the traffic light.

Ordered 3 dishes, Singapore rice noddle, KongPao chickens and Orange chicken.Singapore rice noodle is good, cooked with BBQ pork, egg and chicken.Taste of KongPaO chicken is not good,no any spicy chili mixed and not delicious.Generally, it’s ok if you want eating AMERICA-style Chineses food.

The food was delicious! I have a tried a couple different Chinese cuisines when visiting Tahoe but never felt compelled to write a review as they were not that great. However the Jade garden was exceptional, and the customer service is very welcoming and accommodating! Must try spot!

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I will never be returning. Almost vomited after every bite. We literally left everything. Definitely don’t touch the orange chicken. They even messed up the egg flower soup which i did not know was possible, but i was very unhappy.

This review is all about your expectations. If youre expecting fine dining with lots of seating then this certainly is not for you. If youre looking for quality takeout or a very casual dine-in on paper plates with plastic forks then your expectations will be exceeded due to the quality of the food. Thats the key here. The food was prepared fresh with generous quantities and it very nice quality. Very reasonable pricing for Tahoe too!

This place excelled in cheap, quick, food to go. It’s actually fairly decent too. The service is usually quite good and I haven’t waited more than a few minutes to pick up my food most times I’ve visited. The parking lot can be flooded in the winter which makes it hard to get to if you’re in a hurry. Otherwise the location is super convenient.

This casual restaurant has both great food and customer service. Being an Asian, Ive always disliked panda Express because it isnt real Chinese food, But Jade Garden has excellent food and is very authentic. The customer service was great! The owners were very friendly and showed us different things to do in Tahoe. Awesome restaurant with great food.

I went to this location for a pick up order and sent my boyfriend in to grab it. There was only one person making plates and the other employees didn’t seem too busy so my boyfriend asked if someone could cash him out since we had ordered 20 minutes prior to arriving. A pretty simple request really and the taller white man with long hair proceeded to yell at my boyfriend “I’m busy bud” while making newer orders and neglecting his take out orders. Very unprofessional.

I had no idea you could mess Chinese food up this bad! Between our family we ordered 5 entrees and all were too gross to eat. Nasty tastes, after tastes and felt like chewing rubber. Only thing we could eat was the rice. They even jacked up the egg flour soup! Disgusted and I’m praying it only costed us $40 not a night of food poisoning. No idea how they have these good reviews.

Outstanding Chinese Food. Large helpings and tremendous customer service. We had the Kung Pao Chicken, Black Pepper Chicken and Teriyaki Chicken. All three were very good. James served us and he was awesome and very customer friendly.

A popular local favorite, we were regular customers 8 years ago when we lived in SLT, back then it was called Chinese Grill Express. Even though the buffet entries greet you upon entering they have a full regular Menu at the counter which we always order from. The quality is outstanding and always consistently fresh. The dinning room is small and not a traditional sit down and oder and pay afterward, here you pay at the counter when you order and is more geared for take out. We live 60 miles away now, but when ever in town we make a point to dine at this favorite hole in the wall. Enjoy you wont be disappointed, fairly priced and friendly staff.

Since they opened the restaurant Ive been getting food here. Its more of a to go place than eating in the restaurant. The food is good, you get a choice of noodles or rice and 1, 2, or 3 different dishes priced accordingly. $10 for 3 (my usual purchase) with noodles and rice.

Idk if these reviews are fake, or these people were so Hungry it tasted good. Very large portions but very bland food. All the chicken in my meal was a nasty dark meat with chucks of fat and bone. Regardless of the meat, sauces were bland and flavorless. I don’t recommend going to the place. If you do don’t order Kung Pao or General Tso chicken. Rice was fine.

The guy who helped us made a face the whole time we were there like what are you doing at this restaurant, I dont want people here face and then a female employee showed up from im am guessing school or something threw her backpack down and started starving food to someone in line with out washing her hands or putting gloves on!! The employees are pretty rude. I just had to pick up a doordash order and there were containers spread out all love the counter. I asked the sasquatch at the hot table if this was mo order and offered to bag it and he didnt even acknowledge me. Ok. He is too busy to answer me.. them the asain dude in the back came out and seemed flustered but bagged it. I SAID THANK YOU THREE TIMES and he didnt say a single word. Plus the hot table was A MESS. Its the only neighborhood place left in Walnut Creek and the food is fantastic! If you ask my parents then the Mu Shu Pork is the best, while I like anything in their black bean sauce! YUM! When the shopping center tried to kick them out by upping the rent ...the entire community came out and wait in a line all the way down the shopping center, around the corner down the block and into the next street in protest. It was seriously awesome! And thats why we can all still eat our fave Walnut Creek Chinese today at Encina Shopping Center in Walnut Creek, CA! It was quite a site & a bit of a wait ... but to save everyones favorite place that wasnt in the crowded, annoying, more snooty (all of the Dub-C is but the area surrounding Mt. Diablos Northern Gate is the only place that still resembles where I spent half my life and that definitely includes Jade Garden!! If youre ever driving by Encina Shopping Center (theres now a Whole Foods where Safeway used fo be and the new hella lame Safeway is across the street) I highly recommend stopping at Jade Garden. You wont be disappointed!!
