As someone whos new to the area, my visit to Jades House Seafood & BBQ Restaurant left me rather disappointed. Despite my initial anticipation, the experience fell short in several aspects.One noticeable drawback was the cleanliness of the place. It didnt meet the standards I would expect from a restaurant. The overall tidiness was lacking, which was quite off-putting.The staff, on the other hand, moved at lightning speed. While efficiency can be commendable, it felt almost rushed and impersonal, leaving little room for a welcoming and comfortable dining experience.One aspect that truly shocked and grossed me out was the sight of dead ducks hanging in plain view. Its not only unappetizing but also unsettling to see such sights in a restaurant. This kind of display may deter people who are sensitive to such visuals or looking for a more pleasant dining environment.Taking all these factors into account, I can confidently say that I wouldnt choose to eat at Jades House Seafood & BBQ Restaurant again. There are other dining options in the area that offer a better overall experience in terms of cleanliness, ambiance, and comfort. I would recommend exploring other eateries to find a more satisfying dining experience in the new neighborhood.

I honestly didn’t know what to expect walking into this restaurant, it was around noon and no one was else was here. My partner and I were a bit hesitant as we were ready to walk out, I said, let’s give them a try! We ordered 2 items, an eggplant dish and kung pao chicken both, hella good! About 30 mins later people were walking in a getting the special, I think it was the lobster, too bad I’m allergic to shellfish. Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the wall, this place is bomb yo!

Dive-y Chinese restaurant in Diamond Bar. Came here around 5:30pm for an early dinner with my parents and were seated immediately. Credit cards are accepted but there’s a minimum charge of ~$15. No checks are accepted. There’s indoor dining available (no outdoor seating) as well as takeout. They cater too, and most people who came seemed to have opted for that.There’s a variety of seafood options, and my mom particularly liked the fish maw soup, which has a texture similar to egg drop soup but with pieces of fish. The fried chicken with macadamia but was something that I hadn’t seen before, and wanted to try. The brown sauce is similar to what my mom would cook at home and came with whole pieces of roasted macadamia nuts. The BBQ pork fried rice was standard, and the pork came in small pieces. The food comes with jasmine tea. It’s your standard authentic Asian spot that’s a bit of a hole in the wall (it’s located in the Walmart center), but the service was kind and the food prices were reasonable (~$55 for the 3 of us).

Good Chinese BBQ style joint with great lunch specials. Place needs a little bit of renovation, but food delicious with ample portions.

I came here recently, and it has been a decade since I was last here. The food is still very good. They are short-staffed, so it may take a while before you can get your order in. They have a variety of dishes which is perfect for groups that have different dietary restrictions.

Outside dining set-up with white table cloths. Best $ for great food anywhere!Even after all these years (at least a dozen) this has been my go to restaurant. Weekly lunch! Good food never gets tired.Always a great meal for soooo little $. Free tea...free rice...free soup with lunch till 3:00!Duck special is superb. Heavenly lettuce wrapped chicken...never had a bad meal over the years...consistantly tasty food.Say Hello to Manager Ken. knee-ha is a very rough but warm hello in Chinese.

Reasonably priced delicious Chinese food. Lunch menu is now very limited and prices have increased by 10% to 20% compared to 2020.

Very good soups:) Wish they had healthy alternatives like brown rice. Still good!

Authentic traditional Hong Kong old style food. They also offer roast BBQ pork and duck. Hard to find this type of restaurant in LA now a day. Food are delicious and great service.
