Go for the food, not the service. Greeted after a while then told to sit. Took our drinks order. The store adjacent seemed better stocked than some for the style and range of foods available and prices are reasonable. If you like the food on offer would mean you could easily recreate at home.Placed our food order and within 5 minutes our food came, first time at this restaurant and so far was not fully impressed. Our drinks never arrived and as we left and pointed out to the lady serving us she apologized, seems more interested in talking to her guest at the counter, not fully her fault as only on by herself.Parking is easily situated to the restaurant and on our visit, food was great and ingredients freshly prepared only issue was lack of drinks.....

Located just off Miliken Ave in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, is this LOVELY GEM of an Indonesian restaraunt, Java Bistro. The food, service and atmosphere here is absolutely amazing. The restaraunt is small, yet bustling with the sould of kitchen noises and the Indonesian language being spoken (Bahasa?) with a slight touch of music in the background. Now, to be completely honest, this is NOT my first time eating here by any means. Due to my travels, I come around the area frequently and try to eat here whenever possible. My favorite dish(es) are: Nasi Campur (Nahs-ee Cham-poor), which is a bunch of delicious types of pork (pork belly, sausage, etc) served on a bed of rice with clear soup, slices of cucumber, a liquidy sweet/savory sauce and Sambal (Saahm-ball); Satay Kambing (Sah-tay Kam-bing) which is bits of Lamb on a bamboo kebab skewer (served with a sweet/spicy sauce, and on a bed of rice if you choose); And Tahu Isi (Ta-who Eee-see) which is basically an egg roll, except it is Tofu stuffed with the same filling, battered and deliciously fried. I also buy some of the things on the table at the front, such as various cakes, stuffed rice things, and so on.Another plis about this place is that I can come here to get for myself and my wife, some Indonesian foodstuffs from the attached store. Stuff like Sambal (a chili sauce, to which theres MANY types), durian (a stinky, yet delicious fruit), Indonesian Ramen (Indomie is the national favorite and biggest brand), and so... Much... More! So, if you want to try some unique yet delicious food AND youd like to try your hand with some of the local stuff they import, then THIS is the best place youll eat in the area! I promise that you wont be sorry you ate here!!

I ate here many times in the past. They were okay. Never been too delicious but also never been bad. Considering rather difficult to find absolutely authentic Indonesian food overseas. So last time I wemt there, IDK what went wrong with this place. It was a normal peak rest hr (sat ard 12pm). I mean you have opened the rest for so long, there’re no excuse for sloppy service. We have to que to pay, we waited 50mins for order! When it finally came out sssssoooo dissapointed!!! The chicken was ULTRA SALTY!!! When I complained they only gave me 20% disc lol!! I only ate 5% of what’s on the plate. Straight to hell salty!! Iake. The quality is going downhill. Wasted my time. Will never come back! No thanks

I have been to this restaurant a few times, from the time that they only had a 1-page menu. When I visited this place last month, they have expanded the menu, and it took me a while to decide because a lot of things sounded delicious. Its authentic Indonesian food, very close to the taste of the food in Indonesia. I usually order Rica Rica Noodle, but this time I tried Bakmie Abang, and I loved it. The portion is big and there are a lot of contents. I was very full when I left the store. Attached to its building, they opened grocery store that sells Indonesian snacks and some products. Its always a pleasure to visit this place.
