New place opened up near my place, so I wanted to check it out.Nice customer service, decently priced, food was good 👍🏼My order was:JCK Pork Soup Dumpling (6 count) $9.50Garlic Baby Ribs (4 count) $10.50Garlic Shrimp Noodle $16getting the JCK Pork Soup dumplings is a must, they know what they’re doing. Also, toss the hot oil on it and dip it in the sauce they give you. You won’t regret it.I also grabbed a few beers and some sake, it wasn’t warm sake, so it was good.Spent around $45 total. I’ll be coming back for sure. The vibe is the usual at small places to eat like this, music playing from a TV, but it’s quiet enough to have conversation. It’s not loud in there.

Nice restaurant, owner ran, authentic food, and clean location. Prices are very reasonable, about $35 for 2. The portions are adequate, sized, shareable, and flavorful. I was pleased with the garlic ribs and the braised beef rice bowl. I normally do not eat rice but it was the real deal and filling.

You cannot believe how excited I was to see a Chinese restaurant opening up. And when I visited the first time, I found that it was actually an AUTHENTIC Chinese restaurant. And when I say authentic, I truly mean people and cooks speaking in Chinese - both Mandarin and Cantonese! But that wasn’t all… the food is absolutely yummy and to get soup dumplings, yummy pan fried dumplings and noddles within walkable distance… I am so tempted to go every week!My kids love the string beans… and that’s a complete win! My two older love the dumplings and my husband even said the beef ribs soup was pretty good!I’m definitely a fan and will be heading there more! The menu is small, but everything is made with a lot of thought and done so well!So support local business and head over and try them out!

We ordered the same items that we would at any Taiwanese dumpling place. The * were our favorites. Quality, taste, and price was decent. Plenty of parking and a few out door seating.*JCK pork soup dumpling*Shrimp pork soup dumpling*Crystal pan-fried pork dumpling*Chilli wontonGarlic baby ribs*Dan Dan pork noodle*Beef noodle soup*Cucumber saladPopcorn chickenBeef Bulgogi lumpiaAll these dumplings are smaller in size compare to other places which is why I think the price is justified. Chilli wonton had a thinner sauce than I’m used. Pan fried dumpling had the crispy edges. Soup dumplings were juicy and all the wrappers had the right texture and wasn’t thick.

On a soft opening visit this place was absolute deliciousness! We ordered lumpia, pan fried pork dumplings, egg fried rice, Dan Dan pork noodles and beef rib noodle soup. Tasted so fresh and good. This was for two and we have leftovers. I wish this place THE BEST! It’s wonderful to have a place like this in my neighborhood.

The soup dumplings are a must! With the chili oil and the vinegar they serve, they are as good or better than any of the better known places. Spicy wonton is more like a soup, but delicious broth. Cucumber salad is fresh, crisp and nice flavor. We had the MaPo tofu with pork. Its not pretty, but it was very tasty. More silken tofu than firm cubes. Served with white rice. $50 for two with a beer and iced tea. Love visiting a small, locally owned business with great service.

I came to Chula Vista in 1983. Enough to remember that Yeung Lew’s on 3rd Ave was the most bomb Cantonese style food on the west coast… and ever since they closed down, no Chinese Food has come clise to being as good.Drum roll please… UNTIL JCK Asia Kitchen and Bar came to town! Boooyyy! I tell you, their food is damn goooood. I ain’t gonna describe it ‘cause for real, you all just got to go have that taste for yourself. I am just thankful I don’t have to waste gas driving up to Alhambra or Monterey Park to get this kind of food down in Chula Vista!

The food is great. It did not disappoint. Better than shanghi Saloon. The prices were very reasonable. Small location. Plenty of parking. Beef rib noodles soup was loaded with meat, and the broth had tons of deep flavor as opposed to some of the foa places. Its absolutely worth it.
