Its my new favorite place in town. Golden Dragon is so good with the fresh mango. Love the quality and prices. I tried the Golden Dragon, Lion King, California rolls and Tamago. Ive eaten there once a week the past couple weeks. Will definitely be ordering more. Must try, I love food the sushi is amazing

Great sushi with large portions. This is the second time but this will be my new sushi spot without question. It is only take out but I dont mind eating in the comforts of my home. I ordered way too much. Next time just one roll and an appetizer will be good enough. Im a large man, and that will fill me up.

At first glance, you wouldnt think that you were in the right place, but then yoi go in and order and find that this is a great place for some good sushi. Fresh, and priced fair. For now, its take out only and they accept Venmo or Cash only. The sushi was so good and filling. Love this place. Highly recommend and will be ordering again from now on.

I wanted to try a new Sushi spot so I googled local sushi restaurants near me and Jimmies Place came up so I called a 415 number which seemed odd to me, but whats even more odd is my phone call was declined and I got a text message back informing me they only text, no phone calls? So I text my order and used Zelle to pay them $36 for my order of 1 Fire Dragon roll, 1 Orange Dragon roll, and 1 order of Salmon Sashimi, which to me is cheap!When I arrived, I laughed because youd never think that this was a Sushi restaurant, not in a million years! When I walked in, there was some old school Mexican music playing loud, and the sushi chef was an old school Mexican guy in the back room making up the orders and the person that greeted me was the only Asian guy in the place and I dont even think his name was Jimmie?The absolute best Sushi for the money ever! The Sashimi was fresh and delish! No wonder this place gets so many good reviews, but the only gripe I have is parking, it sucks big time. But I have no regrets, this will be my new Sushi spot from now on!

Jimmies place is what I call a cant go wrong for sushi its not expensive but they dont sacrifice on the quality. Im always pleasantly surprised when I get my food like damn I got away with robbery. I eat a lot of sushi so I can tell you from experience that the quality.

I’m glad that we chose this location, as a last-minute dinner decision Saturday. Even though while looking for the location I passed it up once it is located off of a main road on country club in Stockton. The location is still under renovation. The owner is very polite welcoming and funny. I he is definitely not stingy with portions and the food from here is very good. We chose for rolls and the potstickers and fried.Do you be advised that he excepts cash, Venmo or Zell payments only. No credit or debit cards.Just within the 20 minutes that we were there waiting for our order to be completed quite a few customers came in and fix their borders. I feel like once he gets the place remodeled and has a three handle your friend or a spot to enjoy enjoy

Best sushi place in stockton hands down. Place has a tiny parking lot and the entrance looks like a small bar but they serve great sushi at a very modest price. Favorites are anything with imitation crab and salmon or tempura. This place is cash or venmo only so be prepared!

Where have you been all my life?! So I just discovered this GEM. I called and no one answered so I was sad, then THEY CALLED ME BACK. Then i said I had to call back cause i needed to look at the menu and he said Dont worry Ill wait for you So happy! I made a rather large order, very close to closing time and he was SO SWEET. The food looked so good I forgot to take pics but I will be ordering again. Great customer service and the rolls were FANTASTIC, my tummy is happy happy happy. I have eaten at just about every sushi restaurant in Stockton. Many of the sushi restaurants in SF and also in japan. My wife is Japanese and she is super picky and even she likes it.

Honestly you can not find a better sushi place in Stockton and there are a few that sit below this Gem. My partner and I dropped cocoros(spelling?) What’s find! Quality sushi/sashimi as reasonable prices. Ordered here twice this week. Sushi was tasty and chirashi bowl had a ton of sashimi. My sister ordered the spicy salmon bowl that seemed like it would have better with sushi rice. It either doesn’t come with rice or they forgot to put it in. It’s inside an old former hole in the wall bar and take out only, but very tasty. Will be back.

Wow never judge a book by its cover because this takeout sushi place is legit. The owner is super nice and really goes out of his way for you. Orders only to go and have to be ordered online or via text and takes about 30 mins to be ready. They only accept cash, Venmo or Zelle. Really good, well packaged and extremely affordable!

I was excited to treat myself to sushi, but this might be the worst quality fish I have ever eaten, and Ive eaten a lot. The salmon sashimi was of such exceptionally poor quality that I couldnt not even finish half of it, made me nauseous and now Im feeling sick. The sashimi salad was just as bad. I was able to stomach the spicy salmon bowl (thus his 2 stars instead of one). The greens were fine. Note, I am not a harsh critic, just dont waste your money like I did. Wish I could get my money back. The worker who gave me my food was nice.
