Jimy Wens in Fresno

Great place for lunch. Its in front if Johns Incredible, you cant miss it. Very relaxing with a water wall dribbling in the background. We were seated quickly and ordered, the food was out in about 5 to 10 minutes. As you can see the presentation and portions are big and satisfying. Its a win, win, at Jimy Wins.

We had butterflied fried shrimp a chicken salad, pot stickers, and barbecued pork chop suey chow mein it was amazing the chow mein was great total dinner for two 5515 plus tax and Tip. the service was excellent they came to our tables at good intervals didnt talk too much and let us have a private conversation without interrupting Ill come back.Tonight April 5th 2023 I made my second trip back toJimy wins since the pandemic the crowd was kind of small the service was way good again. I snapped some pictures of the menu that we ate tonight the food is excellent the barbecued pork chop suey chow mein over noodles is insanely good. We had the shrimp again. You ordered the combination sizzling entree. And of course the world famous orange chicken now I dont normally like chicken and almost any form but this chicken is amazing it melts in your mouth has a great flavor and it just seemed to make the meal complete the other dishes were also equally amazing the sizzling entree is an incredible incredible dish served right there on a hot Skillet very fresh ours had beef chicken shrimp and several other types of Edibles vegetables mushrooms onions etc etc. One thing to know this is a family business and the pride of ownership and how the business runs is evident in that everything is done correctly. Theres also a nice little bar although I do not partake an alcohol and have not for over 32 years it is nice to know that when I take someone to dinner and they would like a nice beer or something like that its available. This place tonight has made my permanent dining list it will be in my rotation for my nights out in town. The atmosphere is quiet and calm although it could get loud if it was full we were only about 30% full tonight so that means on Friday I expect you all to be here trying out the dishes I post pictures of below.

I guess I was expecting outstanding food from the reviews. I ordered Mongolian Sun Yum, mild. The noodles were very chewy, sauce was mild and not too thick, but the fried rice was bland, as was the egg flower soup. The food definitely was okay, just not outstanding. Service was good. Perhaps what I ordered was not the best judge.

Went there about a week ago, although there were open tables, the staff failed to welcome us or seat us. After about 20-30 minutes we walked out and decided to eat next door at Bollywood Indian cuisine. Which was delicious by the way.Went today.....and was seated right away only because we got there at opening time. For the price and all the rave ABC 30 gave, we were disappointed. I was expecting gourmet style.On a Monday, if Im craving Chinese style food, Ill probably go back.

It was certainly better than the last time when we waited almost 2 hours and never got our meal. We were seated and served promptly this time and the service was great throughout the meal. The potstickers were the best in town and the soup was great. Then the entrees came I got a very tiny tiny portion of fried rice, some noodles that were fried so hard I could barely eat them, and some flavorless orange chicken that was also dry and almost too hard to eat. After such a good start I expected better.Husbands sweet and sour pork was cooked nicely but the sauce didnt have a lot of flavor.But at least he got a full serving of rice even though it was small. His veggie chow mein was good. We will be back again and just not order the things that were problematic.

I used to eat there IA lot when i worked for a doctor across the street I became a good friend to Karen. I pray she recovers soon. If the cook reads English I would waitress for him till Karen gets back

The orange chicken was the bomb. And the pot stickers... 😋 Wow! We also had the traditional Chow Mein. Super yummy as well. Be sure to tell them how spicy you like it because they will cater to you. I like it spicy. This is the best Chinese food Ive ever had. This family owned restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. I will tell all my friends about this place. Super comfortable and incredible environment.Make sure to meet Julia! She gives the best suggestions and will help you make a great choice on what to eat!!

Weve been enjoying the food at Jimy Wens for a while now. If we happen to have Chinese food at another restaurant its because Jimy Wens is closed that dayThey always disappoint and remind us why we enjoy the food at this restaurant so much.The food here is fresh, not greasy, and made to order.When weve gone to other Chinese restaurants I always ask questions. Most every place weve gone to says that they make sauces once or twice a week. Theres even been a few that say that they make some of their sauces once every week or 2 and just reheat them.At Jimy Wens even the sauces are made Fresh when we order!I really enjoy knowing that when we order something its not just reheated and put on my plate but made Absolutely Fresh when I place my order.Thank you, Jimy, Karen, and Hannah.
