I had hot n sour soup and vegetable egg foo young with white rice. Everything was delicious. The cumin lamb was spicy and tasty. The lamb had a great flavor. Definitely a good stop.

Went here for the first time today. Decided that we didnt want to cook on Christmas Eve. The food was amazing and we got it fast. We usually go to Panda Express but today wanted authentic Chinese food. Found this place on line, its close to our house too. Probably some of the best Chinese food weve found around the Loomis area. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Update November 2023. This restaurant continues to be marvelous! We go in person now, after the pandemic. Say hello to David, the proprietor, and let him guide you. We have lived in the Bay Area, Washington DC, and Chicago and love the schezwan food here. Its wonderful and authentic! Try the dumplings in red sauce, the cumin lamb and the fish balls in red sauce.

Decided to finally give this place a try on my lunch break and I am extremely disappointed. Placed an order for pork buns and when I got home I found out they are the same ones I have in my freezer… they sold me microwave pork buns from Costco. This isn’t Chinese food, this is the the frozen food section at Costco marked up. Unbelievable.

Gotten the chicken and broccoli dish for take out. These Prices are just for that. Nothing else comes with these selections. Not even rice. Or an egg roll. An extra $3 for rice? Lol. And this chicken and broccoli didn’t taste like it should be worth $16. I’d like a refund after eating this. I’m only giving it 2 stars because they give so much of the dish. I’ve had chicken and broccoli that’s tasted better than this and paid less. Sad that this had to me my first time experiencing this place like this.

Jing is is the best Chinese restaurant in the area. We’ve been coming here for the past 7 years and always loved their food. Their spicy fish, Kung Pao Shrimp, string beans, and noodles are simply amazing dishes. No one makes better food than Jing Jing! Manager David is amazing host and it’s the best family restaurant in whole Sacramento area. I want to give them six stars! Simply amazing!

First time visitor. Extensive menu. Great choices. The restaurant was clean, servers pleasant and decor very pleasant. Unfortunately the food wasnt very hot. The plate it was served on was warm but once transferred to our individual plate you had to eat pretty fast because the food went cold. My chow mien dish had what I call lots of filler. Very little noodles but a lot of onions, peapods and even shredded carrots. My friend said their chicken tasted rubbery in their dish.I might try it again. But to each their own opinion. Try for yourself. Maybe it was just a bad night.

The best Chinese food in the area and its not close. Everything is so good, and the prices are great too. Sometimes all the dishes at a place all taste the same but not here - here, everything is unique and really really good. Dont waste your time and money at other places. They are literally the Nicest people. the food was hot fresh and came out super fast cus my husband gets hangry so he’s always watching. I never leave bad reviews we just did not think it was great.We ordered orange chicken al la carte which doesnt come with rice other places normally give white rice with al la carte.also ordered general chicken which tasted like tobasco and sugar just very odd and not good. Ordered the chow mein and it was good.We are easy going not picky eaters but all agreed it was okay and probably wont go back here.I felt like for our money panda express is better but I was hoping for authentic chinese food.

Some of the dishes are good and some I wouldnt order again. The eggplant was cooked just right. Didnt like the Jing Jing beef though. I will likely go back and try again but cant say everything was great.Service was very friendly and quick. They kept my water full and dishes came out quickly.

I ordered and picked up from Jing Jing all the time. Ill no longer order from them anymore. During their covid pandemic the quality and taste in their food has vanished or they got really stingy / greedy.Food is dry and even if you ask them to make is spicy they wont do it. If you say its for your child its made with some spice. They will charge you extra $2.50 for green onion which is the cost in the grocery store... Talk about inflation. Dont ask for green onion or a dish with shrimp. Each piece of shrimp will cost you a dollar.When I went to pick up my food, I asked how much I needed to pay and the guy told me the price and I was surprised because it increased not a little but ridiculous... The guy said everything at our restaurant Jing Jing is expensive as if I didnt have the budget to eat there... Rude! I just laughed. No I dont mind paying for good food. I wont pay extra for food I taste and want to throw out.Please save your money and drive to Changs Brothers in Rocklin for great Chinese. This happened to me at Jing Jing the last 4 times and it is not worth it anymore. My husband always preferred Changs Brothers Im joining him now.Sorry to put in a bad review but Jing Jing disappointed me too many times. Used to be great. Sad

Its hard for us to find a Chinese restaurant that we like enough to return to on a regular basis. Either the sauces are too cloying or the food seems bland or the service is lacking even when we are at one of the few occupied tables. We did not have any of these issues here. The sauces add flavor without overpowering the food they are on. The food (particularly the fried rice) was flavorful without being overpowering. The service was attentive even though there appeared to be only 2 people waiting tables and the place was reasonably busy. The only thing that seemed odd was that we had to box our own leftovers after dinner, but that wasnt enough to warrant losing a star. I believe well be going back voluntarily.

We love, love, love Jing Jing!! Great Chinese food- one of the very best in greater Sacramento area, and I say this because we have eaten Chinese food around the world all our lives, including those in their original countries.Wonderful services and very accommodating, polite, kind and friendly staffs. We are always really pleased to dine here, also sometimes we order to go. Comfortable, clean and homey ambience with beautiful Chinese arts decorated on the walls.** Highly recommend curry prawn, wanton soup, Hong Kong style noodle (crispy noodle) and especially their egg foo young is THE BEST!! They use a nice and unique gravy for egg foo young while the others use stinky mixed sauce. Here, you really get thick pieces of wholesome, firm, mouthful and non-oily eggs instead of those of other Chinese restaurants which they mixed a significant amount of flour into it and heavily fried the eggs in substantial amount of oil.They use jumbo size of prawns in their dishes which are not easily found in other places. The portions are very good size and really fill your tummy happily 😊😊 Reasonable price given the good quality and tasty food they make. 😁 We will always dine here.

I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in northern california and have been on a hunt for Dan Dan noodles for years. We moved from Berkeley 20 years ago and are always on the lookout for Chinese Restaurant serving the types of dishes not normally found in our area. Jing Jing is the first restaurant I have found (within an hour of my home) where one can find not only Dan Dan noodles but also Westlake soup, sweet donuts, beef stew and pea sprouts. My husband, son and I tried Jing Jing for the first time this week and we were elated. The food was delicious, well prepared and just all around yummy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be back and have already planned what were going to order when we next visit!

Really good Chinese food. We got the family dinner #1 for 5 people, even though we had 6 people. There was WAY too much food for 6 people and had lots of leftovers. They allowed us to substitute the beef dishes for chicken dishes and egg foo yung, which was super cool. Well definitely be going back, but getting the family dinner for 4 when we have 6 people. The Kung Pao chicken was on point and had a nice kick to it.

We stopped in to try it and it was very good. Ordered Jing Jing Beef, Orange Chicken and chicken chow mein. Everything was prepared very quickly and tasted very fresh. The beef and chicken were both tender. Orange chicken was white meat and not overwhelming orangy which is a reason why we do not order orange chicken ever!Our waiter was very honest with the dishes when we asked his opinion and he even steered us away from some veggie dishes that contained veggies that were not in season as those veggies would probably be tough.Well be back!

They have 2 menus: the normal and the Sichuan (spicy). We ordered from the normal menu today. Jingjing beef - 8/10Spicy cumin lamb - 9/10, its super tasty and very spicy even though I told them to make it mild. Its a Sichuan version of cumin lamb.Shrimp chow fun - 6/10 a bit bland.Salt n pepper fish - 8/10, wish theres more people taste.Peking style pork floss - 7/10 missing something.Overall not bad, has some authentic Chinese dishes along side the American Chinese food.

My husband and I decided to dine here. I ordered cashew chicken and was served some teriyaki chicken with peanuts on top. My husbands orange chicken was spongy and the glaze tasted awful. The only person who gave us any attention was the person who refilled our water. Any servers were nowhere to be seen for upwards of 20 minutes at a time. We wont be returning.

Absolutely delicious! I had my second covid shot and had the symptoms of fever, headache, and body aches...I wanted nothing more than to have hot and sour soup.Jing Jing did NOT disappoint. I appreciate that their soup is vegetarian (egg, fanyadtically crunchy wood ear mushrooms and soft white mushrooms, bamboo shoots, tofu).Simply delicious, full of flavor, has the tang you desire, and that tingling kick on your lips from the white pepper that wants you craving more.If you like spicy, this is about a mild spice as it comes from the peppercorns. Definitely recommended as it is scrumptious!

Rude waiter, although it is not allowed to dine in, but the customers shouldn’t be treated like this, you drive to the parking lot and they just let you waiting outside under the big ☀️ and even not coming to making sure everything looks good. Searched for authentic Sichuan food....found it. Great food and owners. Most Chinese Restaurants say they have Sichuan style food, but they only pretend to have the tastes. These folks are not pretenders. They cook the tastes and can bring the heat! Make sure you tell them you want Sichuan Hot (to what degree) and they will do it.....if you can handle it.Favorites: Sliced beef tendon (extra hot), pickled vegetable (hot), beef boil in chile oil (extra hot) with rice, Don Don Noodles, diced chicken with dried chile....really, have not had anything bad....all tasty!We love the food so much, we drive 90 miles to get our Sichuan fix.
